February is known as the month of love, hearts, pink, and red. Well, I was sure seeing red after I received a notice in the mail three days before our court date saying you retained an attorney! I received notice at the beginning of the month that the court date would be February 23rd at 2pm. You had to have received it then, too.

Well since you retained an attorney, that's fabulous! Now I had to find one too! Did you forget I have connections? Just because the lawyer I was talking to wasn't able to take the case doesn't mean I couldn't find one quickly. Did you forget that? Anyways, I found one within two days, and it only took that long because I received the notice on the weekend. Did you thing you outsmarted me by waiting so long to retain one? Or did it genuinely take that long to get stepmom's money to pay for a decent lawyer? Regardless, I'm not spending a dime as my lawyer is kind enough to do it pro bono. God bless him!
