DAPHNE'S POV

"What? Where are you exactly?" I could hear the panic in Mrs. Dodds voice.

"I stayed over at a friends house and I'm staying over again."

"And who is this friend?"

"Kerington."

"Who's Kerington?" So, I told her the story of how Kerington was born a demi god who had a huge crush on me back in the days. I still didn't know though how he was able to live such a long life.

"Hmm, alright. You can stay over there, but what about your clothes? Surely Kerington doesn't have girl clothes there, hmm?"

"Actually, he has," I said and I could hear her chuckle under her breath. "So, I better go now. See you tom?" And with that, we said our good byes and hung up the phone. I sighed and walked back to Miles room. I knocked and open the door a little and stuck my head in.

"Hey, can I come in?" I asked him. He was lying on the bed again. Staring at the ceiling. Then he looked at me with those new big eyes of him and nodded. "You okay?" He shook his head. I'm actually quite tired of him giving me this type of answers. "What do you want?" He just shrugged. I sat beside him on the bed. "Can you answer me differently?"

"How do you want to be answered?" He asked me. I smiled. Those were the first words he said to me the whole day after he got changed. "What? Are you gonna answer my question or what?"

"You can't answer a question with a question," I said still smiling. He kept looking at me with that weird expression. He licked his lips and sat up. He put both of his arms on his legs and looked at me.

"Sure. I'll answer you differently. I just don't know how," he said.

"Answer me like what you're just doing right now. I want you to answer me with words. Can you do that from now on?" I said and he smiled.

"Sure. Um, Is that the reason why you came in here?" He asked me. I looked at him and cracked my knuckles. He held out his hand and touched both of them. "Don't do that. I hate it when people do that."

"Sorry if it bothers you so much," I said.

"Hey, who drank all of the-" Kerington came in without knocking. He looked at our faces then at our touching hands. I quickly took them off of Miles's. "I can see that you guys are busy. I'll come back later."

I quickly stood up and followed Kerinton. I didn't look back at Miles. I almost felt bad by just leaving him there. But, whatever.

Kerington was at the kitchen fixing our lunch. When I walked next to him, he smiled.

"I thought the point of your curse is that you would never fall in love." He said.

"Yeah, it is. What are you getting at, Kerington?"

"What I'm trying to say is, I just saw you and Miles there, looking all lovey dovey. I get it, he's cute now. But that doesn't mean he isn't the same dork we all know and hate."

"You're the only one who happens to hate him," I pointed out.

"Uh, I'm not just the only one Daphne. I know that human friend of yours hate him."

"Which one?" I said. I know he was referring to Pauline. But I still wanted to hear what he can say about her.

"The one with the curly brown hair," He said. I raised my eyebrows. He sighed. "The one with the cute dimples?"

"Oh, you mean Pauline."

He smiled. "Yeah."

I pursed my lips. "Pauline doesn't hate Miles. You hate Miles. She just hates Connor."

"That's kinda the same Daphne. Anyway, he keeps staring at me. The next time I see him staring at me, I'll poke his eye out."

"You are so mean, you know that?" I told him.

"Please Daphne. You actually think that would work on me?" He asked me. I was taken back. I suddenlly flashed back to a memory of us. Kerington looked differently before. Before he drank the milk. He used to look like Connor, a skinny weird looking kid. Of course, Kerington looked scary mean. Nobody would come up and talk to him. Now, he still looked scary. But good looking scary.

"Daphne, do you want me to poke your eye out?" His question snapped me out of my gaze.

"What?" I asked him. He certainly looked different. He got shorter, paler... cuter. He was very very different from the Kerington before, tall, tanned and ugly.

"You were staring at me. Whatever, Miles will be fine right now. Go get him now. We have training to attend to."

"Training? Seriously?" I asked him.

"Don't I look serious? Anyway, I want to see my sister. I believe her name is Mazie?" He said raising his eyebrows. I tried to compare him to Mazie. They both had that mean look in them. I'd say yeah, they look like siblings alright. But even though Kerington was immortal and old and stuff, Mazie still looked older. Probably since his aging stopped when he was 17 because he drank Io's milk.

Kerinton groaned and rolled his eyes. He shook both of his hands and started pushing me. "C'mon hurry up! This is like herding a cow. No. I've already experienced doing that in 92. This is far worst. Please keep moving!"

"Hey!" I told him but he only smirked.

APOLLO'S POV

"Again," I told Alexa. She was practically being beated down by Aphrodite. Is it wrong to say that I expected more from her?

"Would you lay off the kid dude?" Ares said. "I wouldn't pressure a kid who was born an archer to beat Aphrodite at wrestling. But if it was my kid..."

"Ares," Aphrodite said in a sexy voice that would make anybody melt. Except me of course. "I'm bored. Apollo, your kid is weak and is wasting my time. Give me someone to fight that's actually worth my time."

Alexa stood up and brushed the dirt off of her clothes. "That hurts you know. Sorry if I wasted your time, I don't know how to wrestle, okay!"

Ares walked towards her and patted her by the shoulder. "Haven't you ever watched WWE?"

Alexa raised her eyebrows. "What?"

"Wrestling," I said. She looked at me. "What?"

"Can't we practice something else. I hate wrestling."

"You've only wrestled Aphrodite. How can you hate wrestling already?" Ares asked.

"I just do, okay? Hey, did you guys contacted Connor already?" she asked me. Aphrodite was the one to answer. "Yes we did, he said that he'd be here soon. I don't know what he meant by that, but I do hate waiting."

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I stood up from my sit and looked over through the peep hole. It was Daphne. I smiled to myself before opening the door. She was with a few people. Boys specifically. I frowned at them.

"Hey," I said cooly to all of them. Daphne nodded. I can sense that the two boys are demi gods but I have no idea who they're godly parents are.

"Apollo, this is Kerington..." I remember the name. A few thousand years ago, there was this scrawny kid named Kerington who was a demi god. Nobody would believe he was one until he seeked help from Io, which we all know was turned into a cow by Zeus. He drank the milk of Io and asked for more. Up to this day, Io's milk never spoiled. It turned him immortal and handsome.

"... and Miles," Daphne said. I looked at the boy, he had brown hair and blue eyes. He stood up proudly as if he isn't afraid of me. I smiled at him.

"Who's your daddy, Miles?" I asked the boy.

"Hermes. Hermes is my father," he said. I raised an eyebrow at him and cocked a grin.

"Has he claimed you his son yet?"

"Yeah, when I turned 12. Said that I would be a great criminal someday." I laughed. It was funny. Before we would tell our kids that they would be heroes, now we tell them that they'll be criminals.

"Well, come on in." I let them enter. I went back sitting on my original seat. Alexa stood up.

"Hey," Alexa said dissapointed to see Daphne and the others. "Um, have you seen Connor?" she asked Daphne. Daphne only looked sad as if she saw a murder and wouldn't admit it to the police.

I then turned my attention to Aphrodite who was biting her nails, looking from Alexa to Miles back and forth as if she was trying to find out a secret. Then she snapped her fingers and looked relieved. I gestured for her to sit next to me.

"What cha find out?" I asked her. She leaned in, I thought at first she was going to kiss me but she didn't.

"Our Connor is inside the room," she whispered in my ear. At first, I thought she was crazy. Connor was nowhere to be seen.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her. She pointed to Miles. I looked at him carefully and I could see that he was sweating like an idiot, staring at my sad daughter.

Then it came to me. Connor drank Io's milk from Kerington. But why was he using the name Miles?

"Hey Connor," I shouted. Alexa turned to look at me and so did Miles. They were the only heads to look at me. Then Alexa looked at Miles. Miles kept his gaze at me. I smiled. "Nice seeing you again."

I could see that Alexa was still in shock like she didn't want to believe that Miles was Connor. Connor's hands rolled into a fist like he wanted to punch me. Ares smirked.

"Connor?" Alexa asked in a hush and trembling voice. Miles looked at her and tried to smile.

"Hey," he said and Alexa came running to him. He hugged her very tightly. I could hear Alexa sobbing at Miles's shoulder.

"Ahem," someone coughed from the corner. It was Mazie. We had completely forgotten about her. "Sorry to interrupt, but isn't it my turn to wrestle Aphrodite?" I could hear in the tone of her voice that she was waiting for the oppurtunity where she could pulverize Aphrodite.

"Aww, sorry dear, but I have a manny peddy to attend to," Aphrodite tried to sound cool.

"Do you really want to miss the oppurtunity to turn me into tenderized meat?" Mazie asked teasingly.

"Are you sure?" I could feel the tension in the air. Then Kerington butted in. The little attention seeker.

"What if I wrestled in for ya instead sugar?" Kerington asked in a flirty tone that made Ares extremely uncomfortable.

"Sure, why not baby doll," Aphrodite was definitely enjoying herself with Kerington. He had this charm on him that made him sort of... weird.

Mazie stiffened when Kerington looked at her. He came toward and winked at her. "Don't worry, I don't bite," Kerington said. "Much."

"Oh, right," Mazie said sarcastically. "That's reassuring."

Kerington smiled and he lunged towards her and she did the same. The fight happened so fast that it only took Kerington 3 seconds to pin down Mazie.

"Uncle?" Kerington asked with that mischievous smile on his face.

"Yeah, whatever," Mazie said struggling. Kerington let go of her and I stood up to give her a hand, she swatted it away. I know that Mazie would probably be embarrassed right now because about a minute ago, she was bragging.

"I do believe that this would be a great time to introduce myself to everyone," Kerington said rubbing his hands together to take the dirt off of his hands. "I'm Kerington. I'm a demi god. My mother is Yana, a water nymph like our friend here," he gestured to Daphne. "And my father is Hades. I'm sure all of you know him."

Mazie gasped. "So... y-you're m-my b-b-brother?" Mazie stuttered. Kerington smiled.

"Hey baby sis," he said.

"But I look older than you," Mazie tried to protest. Kerington completely ignored her.

"Hey," Daphne said loudly. "Can we continue our training?"
