《The Life Not Worth Living (HaikyuuxReader)》𝚂𝚞𝚗𝚜𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚎

I woke up waaay to early so I just got ready and left to school, I'm planning on going to the tournament again. So I'll just catch a ride on the bus since all the guys already know me and there's no point in hiding anymore. Anyways when I got to school it was still like four in the morning so I just sat at the front steps of the gym.
I scrolled through my phone and grabbed a hot coco from the vending machine while waiting. (ANd YeS JApaN's VENdiNg mAChinEs hAve HOt and COLd dRiNks, i KnoW caUse I LIved TheRE) While I was just vibing by myself I heard someone else approaching the gym, I didn't bother to look up thought. "Oh (Y/N) what are you doing here?" since I recognized the voice I looked and saw Hinata looking down at me.
"I'm just waiting for everyone else, what about you." I said, he looked hesitant and I followed his gaze to see he was staring at the step next to me. So I pat the step and he smiled brightly before sitting next to me. "I always come here early so I guess I'm just waiting like you." he replied and I just hummed in response.
"Nee-Chan get a jacket it's cold outside!"
Damn it, it's happening again and all because of this kid.
"Sorry what did you say?" I asked, it's a stupid question cause I always have to ask him this, but he just smiled at me. "I asked if you're cold, you're only wearing a skirt and a tee shirt." he repeated. Then before I could respond he looked like he got an idea cause his face lit up and he took off his jacket. After he looked at me and lightly placed it on me, normally I would throw the jacket off, it's covered in his germs, but I'm more concerned about him.

"Here! Now you won't get sick!" he exclaimed, "Thanks Hinata, but what about you, aren't you cold?" I asked. "Not really, I had to bike up the mountains so I'm kinda hot." he laughed, his personality is so sunny, it's so familiar too. He makes me feel happy, so I didn't even noticed that I smiled, and this smile didn't feel forced. "Well then thank you Hinata." and I unconsciously scooted closer to him.
"O-Oh n-no problem (Y/N), you can u-use my jacket as long as you need!" he cheered and I just smiled at him again and nodded. Then I started scrolling on my phone again and Hinata was talking all about the volleyball club. He talked about how he and Kageyaam got kicked out, and when they first did the quick attack. Then the games against Aoba Johsai and Nekoma, it was really a one sided conversation.
But I still listened to everything he said and put my own comments in the conversation, but just a few times.
The others slowly started arriving at the school, they all arrived around the same time and walked towards the gym together. When they approached the gym they were all surprised to find Hinata and (Y/N) sitting in front of the door. Hinata was talking on and on about Nekoma and their players.
He was leaning on the door and (Y/N) was on her phone with her head leaning on Hinata's shoulder, she was also wearing his jacket. This boiled the blood of quite a few of the members, yet most of them were dense and didn't know why.
"Hey you two!" Sugawara said to break the silence, his sudden statement surprised the two first years who didn't noticed the rest of the team. "Oh hi Suga!" Hinata chirped, clearly not noticing the death glares he was being sent. "Hey." (Y/N) simply responded and turned her attention back to her phone.

Then another awkward silence developed, but was quickly broken since Hinata started talking about Aoba Johsai again. Before he could fully start his rant on the team Ukai called out for the team since the bus had arrived. "Come on Hinata, I'll sit with you." (Y/N) said and got up while dusting off her skirt. "Oh alright." Hinata said and quickly grabbed his stuff and ran after the black haired girl who already left to the bus.
The team however was still in shock that Hinata, the boy who was intimidated by so many people, managed to get so close to (Y/N) in so little time. After standing around for a while the boys followed (Y/N)'s lead and went towards the bus. They saw Takeda with a smile on his face waiting outside the bus and Ukai sitting in the drivers sear. So they all hurried into the bus to find (Y/N) sitting with Hinata just like she said she would. The others were all jealous, but they did well not showing it.
~Le Time Skip Brought To You By The Memes Keeping Me Alive~
When the group arrived at the gymnasium then all started to wake up (cAuse wHO evEr staYS Up iN THe car?)....(while editing this I have learned lots of you also like to not sleep, and now I don't sleep either
No one else knew how to react, so the beautiful goddess Kiyoko (yes I'm a fricken simp for Kiyoko like damn who wouldn't be when her fine azz is around?) decided to tap (tHat AZz...sorry) (Y/N) on the shoulder. The girl took off her headphones and looked up at the older beauty "We're here now, could you please wake up Hinata?" she asked politely. So now that Kiyoko was the only one (Y/N) respected she nodded then showed her a dangerously bright smile. "Sure thing Kiyoko-Senpai!" she chirped "Hinata time to wake up~" she said sweetly, and shook the boy lightly. He immediately shot his head up, confusion plastered on his face while everyone else wished they were in his place.
(Yes even Kiyoko, I don't know if I'll make a love interest thought, we'll see as time progresses)
"Let's go defeat the Grand King!" Hinata yelled then hopped off the bus eagerly followed by (Y/N) whose (E/C) eyes were slowly getting darker and darker. Takeda of course noticed this small detail, 'She's trying so hard to look happy for him, but it's like it's hurting her.'. He grew even more worried for the girl, he thought interacting with others was the best choice. But if she's having such a hard time showing her emotions, maybe all it'll do is hurt her.

Witness the legend of Li Jie!-----Upon Blazing Wings is a xianxia (Chinese for """"immortal hero"""") story, taking heavy inspiration from I Shall Seal the Heavens by Er Gen as well as other famous xianxia stories. For those well-versed in the genre, the story should seem familiar. However for those who are new, the culture and technical terms may be bit alien at first. I will possibly post a glossary explaining some of the details if necessary, but hopefully you will be able to explore and understand the world with me as I write about it.

TTWN: The Tale of Will Newbie
This series is inspired by the music of TheFatRat, please take a look if you don't know who he is here. Everyone wants to live in a fantasy world, right up until they have to face dark beings beyond their comprehension. Everyone wants to be a hero, right up until every day becomes a fight for their life. Sixteen-year-old introvert Will Newbie lives in a fantasy world. He's the hero of this story. He has been left with nothing; after a brief adventure in the mountains near his home, he returns to find his entire home missing, every person mysteriously vanishing into thin air. All that's left for him is his rather, "disembodied" older sister and the quest given to him by a rat-turned-god: Gather a team of Champions, fight back against the forces of Sin, and save the world. But if he's learned anything, it's that being a hero isn't as easy as it sounded in the books. So, he'll have to keep himself together, keep his team from tearing each other apart, and figure out just how much he's willing to sacrifice for what he believes in. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! This is my first fully written story, so I want to improve. Positive or negative, I'll take it into account! I will try to update weekly every Friday, but as I'm pretty new to this kinda grind expect some irregularities. The covers are also by moi, done in Pixel Studio. Quite proud of them, really.
