《Michael and Sara One-Shots (Misa)》4x18 Test

"Nice family photos." Michael says as he and Sara make their way into the small apartment. "Sand, sun, cheesy matching outfits..." he continues as he makes his way into the kitchen where Sara stood. He put his hands on the counter and leaned forward towards her. "We could have that if we wanted." She smiled and looked towards him. She handed him the glass of water she had in her hand and he studied her face. She chuckled softly, but she seemed slightly off. Granted, he had never mentioned having kids before. Hell he didn't even know if it would be an option based on their lifestyle.
He stared into her eyes trying to read how she felt about the situation. He was completely serious as she stared back at him. They stood there for a few minutes before Sara suddenly moved towards the bathroom in the back of the apartment. As he watched her slowly fade from his vision, he thought about the way she carried herself. She seemed off, but he couldn't place why. It wouldn't surprise him if something was bothering her. The whole situation they were in was a lot. He shrugged the feeling off and went to work planning the next phase in their plan.

Sara made her way quickly to the bathroom. She could feel her stomach churning with each step she took. The last few days she had felt really sick in the mornings and she hand't been eating a whole lot. On top of it all she was a week late and that's what really scared her.
She closed the bathroom door quietly, but quickly and rummaged through the cabinets until she found what she was looking for. She looked at the door again in fear Michael would walk in. When she didn't hear any noises indicating he was near she looked back at the object in her hand. Her stomach turned again. She peeled off the wrapper of the pregnancy test and shakily pulled it out. She knew this was definitely not the right timing, but she wasn't sure how she felt about it. She took a deep breath and took the test.

The minutes passing felt like hours to Sara. Her heart was pounding so hard that she could literally hear it. She squeezed her eyes shut and moved her shaking hand to her jacket pocket. She pulled out the test and looked down. A small plus sign appeared on the test and she felt like she had gotten the wind knocked out of her. She struggled to take a deep breath and she started crying. She was scared, there was no question about that. She looked into the mirror and smiled nervously. She wiped her eyes and tried to slow down her breathing.
"I'm going to be a mom." She whispered quietly to herself while looking down. Her thoughts stopped as she thought about Michael. How was she going to tell him with everything going on? There was no way she could do that to him. He just found out this own mother was alive and that crushed him with terrible memories. She couldn't just spring this on him with no warning.
She knew he was thinking about having kids, he had just mentioned it. But that was for the future.... not now. She felt herself panicking unsure how to feel about the situation now. She would have to wait and tell him when this was all over.
**********************************************************************************************************
Michael observed as Sara made her way back to the kitchen. The atmosphere around her seemed to have changed and it worried him slightly. She walked out with a small smile that made him think she was hiding something. "Everything okay?" He asked her. He watched as she looked at him slightly alarmed.
"Everything's fine." She said. "Whats the next move?" She changed the subject and he noticed. He pushed his thoughts aside and began revealing the next phase.
"I'll stay on the phone long enough for her to track us to the warehouse. Then when they come we'll grab her and bring her back here." He said while motioning to the apartment. "Then I'll question her about Scylla." He added with slight pain. Sara moved closer to him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"I'll be there the whole time. If you need me to I can question her." She spoke softly to him as if speaking to a frightened child. She knew how many problems and pain his mother had caused him. He smiled and kissed the back of her hand.
"Thank you." He whispered. He turned and wrapped his arms around her. She hugged him closer and he felt the urgency in her touch. He held onto her, not allowing her to leave and she happily stayed. She almost seemed relieved.
"Sara," he began and she looked up towards him. "Are you sure everything's okay? Something seems... off." He watched her face grow slightly more pale, making him more worried. She swallowed hard and tried to give a convincing smile.
"I'm fine." She replied. It was most definitely a lie. She did not feel anywhere near fine. Her stomach was doing flips, her nerves were off the charts, and she felt faint from not eating anything. Michael's stare made her feel slightly unstable and her vision clouded slightly. She felt herself collapsing while her eyes shut. The last thing she heard was Michael calling her name before catching her before she hit the ground.
**********************************************************************************************************
Light blinded her vision as Sara slowly opened her eyes. She felt Michael beside her in an instant and he grabbed her hand. "Sara?" He asked worriedly.
"I'm okay." She replied slowly while massaging her head with her hand. She felt really weak.
"You're a lot of things Sara, but 'okay' is not one of them." He replied and she gave a short amused laugh. His fingers turned her head so she was looking into his eyes. "Talk to me Sara." He pleaded. She looked away nervously and he brought his hand to her face. "You know I love you no matter what right?" He asked her seriously. She felt tears come to her eyes and he noticed. He pulled her close to him and she wrapped her arms around him.
After a couple minutes she pulled away from him. She took in a shaky breath before speaking. "I...I'm p-pregnant Michael." She whispered so quietly she wasn't sure he had heard her. She watched his eyes widen as he processed what she had just said. "I k-know this isn't the best timing..." he cut her off and kissed her. He pulled her close to him again and she felt a weight being lifted off of her shoulders.
"I love you so much Sara." He said once they pulled away. "Is this what you want?" He asked her, studying her face. She smiled and nodded and he smiled at her. She laughed and hugged him tightly again.
"We're going to be parents Michael." She said with tears running down her face. He smiled and kissed her again.
"Sand, sun, and cheesy matching outfits? I can't wait." He said and she laughed with him. "I love you Sara." He said with a smile.
"I love you Michael."

Heather the Necromancer
Heather was a normal girl living in an abnormal world. When the visitors came, they struggled to understand humans and their ways. It was through video games they began to learn, and then they came up with a plan. They created a virtual world of magic and dragons where people could translate and become parts of the game. Through this world, they watched and learned, growing in their understanding of us. She knew little about it, only what came across the occasional tweet or blog post. She knew that people went into the world known as New Eden because they volunteered. She also knew that rarely other people were forcefully drawn in; these were referred to as the chosen. Heather didn’t pay much attention to it all. For most of the world, things went on like they always had. She had classes to attend and boys to tease, and her cell phone was her world. That was until she woke in a forest clearing and realized she had been chosen. Discord Server

Cosmic Plague
In this world, everyone is cursed with a single fate: Become the most powerful. But those who do become powerful, they hate it. Power is misery and death is the solace. လလလ Nazar, a weapon of mass destruction created by the ancient God of Destruction revolted against his creator a long time ago. While he did defeat his creator, the power he was given is still within him. He is cursed with infinite power, standing at the top of the celestial hierarchy. He has more power and wealth than he needs. But even then, he craves one thing; death. He wants to die. Power is misery and death is the solace, but he cannot achieve his only goal. He cannot die. Perhaps that will change when one day, an ancient cosmic Goddess rises from her grave? Perhaps she will finally kill him? Or will she fall short before his awesome yet terrible power? Only time will tell. This is a high cosmic story about the hypocritical life of the protagonist and how it affects everyone (and everything) around him. Naturally, it features very overpowered characters with a lot of high stakes battles roaming across the cosmos. Warning: Swearing, some suggestive sexual gestures/words, gore. Feedback is highly welcomed. (The story was originally named, God's Return, but I wanted to change it.)

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
