JACE
I made my way down the stairs form Magnus's apartment. I was going back and forth between whether or not I should tell Alec. He was in such a bad position. I didnt really feel like getting in between their relationship problems, but a part of me just wanted to help my brother. I walked down the streets going on and on in my head.
About thirty minutes later I reached the Institute. I walked through the doors and made my way towards Izzy's room. I watched as I saw her just about to close her door. "Izzy!" I called out to her. She stopped and invited me in. I knew that she could tell I had something important to tell her.
"What's up?" She asked me once we were safely inside. "Magnus only left Alec because he was trying to save his life. Johnathan told him that if he didnt unite the Warlocks with him he would kill Alec right in front of him. He thought he was protecting Alec." I explained to her.
"What?" She managed to get out. I nodded my head at her. She shook her head trying to process the information I gave her. "Have you told Alec?" She asked me. "No. I just found out and I didnt know if I should tell Alec or if I let Magnus." I replied to her. She nodded thoughtfully while thinking.
"They're to emotional to be together right now. It could end up being worse. We should tell him." She replied after a few moments. She got up and I followed her out.
We made our way throughout the entire Institute looking for Alec. We went around and around about three times before giving up. "Where is he?" Izzy asked in a worried voice. I grabbed my phone and tried calling him, but it went straight to voicemail. I tried again but the same thing happened. "Come on Alec." I said slightly frustrated. Izzy looked extremely worried and it was making me anxious. I was desperate to find my parabatai.

"Come on." I told her getting an idea of where he may be. She followed me eagerly. We made our way down the halls to the main entrance. I grabbed her hand and we went outside. I knew where he was.
After about a five minute walk we made it to Hunter's Moon. We walked inside and searched frantically for Alec. "There." I heard Izzy say to me. I looked up and saw him. He was sitting hunched over at the bar with a drink in his hand. I watched as he chugged down the shot and flipped it upside down. "Another." He called out. My heart ached for him.
We made our way over to him and we each placed a hand on his shoulder. "Alec." I said gently. He didnt even turn to face us. "What are you doing here?" He asked me.
"We have something to tell you." Izzy said to him. "Not interested." He said while taking another drink. "Alec, Magnus–" I began. "I said I'm not interested!" He yelled at me. A few heads turned to look at us. Izzy turned his chair around suddenly so that he was looking at her. "Magnus left you because he was being threatened by Johnathan. If Magnus didnt leave you, Johnathan would have killed you in front of him. Magnus didnt want that to ever happen and thats why he left." She said quickly so that he would understand. He stared at us with no expression.
"He still loves you Alec. He always has." I told him. I could see tears forming in his eyes. "Wh...what?" He asked shaking his head slightly. I put both hands on his shoulders and I looked him straight in the eye so he knew I wasn't lying. "He still loves you Alec. He didnt know how to tell you so we are. Go Alec... go and be happy with him. Don't worry about the Institute for a few days. Just figure this out first." I looked at Izzy and smiled. "We've got this." I watched as a tear escaped Alec's eye. I smiled at him.

"Thank you." He whispered to us. We smiled at him in return. I watched as he got off the chair and practically ran out the door off to see Magnus. Off to make things right.
