We don't wanna miss the countdown!" Y/n ran out of the restaurant, jumping in place as she waited for him to follow her.
Tamaki hunched nervously as he trailed behind her down the sidewalk. So far so good...I enjoyed dinner...but she makes me so anxious...I still don't know why...
Y/n turned around, waiting for Tamaki to catch up. "I know this place we can watch the fireworks. It's up at the top of the shrine. I don't think they'll be any people, so you don't have to be nervous!" She grabbed onto his wrist, leading him down the road.
Tamaki felt his cheeks warm. No people? That's even worse! I'll be extra alone with her...What if I say something stupid?
Y/n ran to the railing, leaning over the metal barricade and gazing at the horizon. "WOAHHH!!" She gasped as she looked at the people celebrating New Years at the festival. People were dressed in kimonos and kids ran around excitedly with food and candy in their hands. "We have 5 minutes before the firework show start!"
Tamaki stood by her, looking off into the landscape. They stood by each other in silence, the wind whistling through the trees. "...Amajiki?"
He turned to y/n, his heart dropping. Crap! Did I do something wrong? What is she gonna say!?
"...I lied to you."
Tamaki raised his eyebrows. "L-Lied? When?"
"...When we were putting up flyers...I said I didn't remember what you said the night before, when we got snowed in at the shop...but...I remembered."
Tamaki's stomach churned. Oh no. This is bad. She's gonna be so mad, isn't she? Did I ruin it for us? I should've just kept my mouth shut-
"But I'm glad I still talked to you, even though I irritated you."

Tamaki hitched. ...Did I hear her right? Maybe she misspoke.
"Talking to you, even though you didn't talk back, really helped me out...my parents were always working at the shop, Hailey and I went to separate schools, and the 'friends' I made only used me for popularity. So I didn't really have anybody to talk to."
She turned to Tamaki, her eyes happy. "So thanks for putting up with me while I was there!"
Tamaki felt his heart squeeze with guilt. "...I feel bad though...I found you so annoying but...you just wanted a real friend..."
Y/n lightly chuckled. "It's not like I expected you to like me. I was loud and social, and you were quiet and reserved. If anything, I knew deep down you didn't like me." She shrugged.
Tamaki turned back towards the front, staring at the city lights. "...Y/n?"
"Hm?"
"...You're...you're a great person."
Y/n felt her heart jump. "Where's this coming from?"
"Oh, well...you run a shop alone...and you have so much drive...You never give up. I...I like that about you...a lot."
Tamaki felt his body go numb. ...Did I just say that out loud!? Ahhhh oh my god I wanna go home.
Y/n felt her heart beat out of her chest. "...Ama-"
Suddenly, citizens from down below started to countdown from ten, the new year approaching. "Oh, looks like it's almost time! Nine! Eight! Seven!-"
Tamaki stood up straight, listening to the crowd chant.
"Five! Four! Three! Two! One! Happy New Year!!"
Tamaki turned to y/n. "H-Happy New y-"
His sentence was interrupted with a kiss, y/n's lips crashing into his. Both y/n's and Tamaki's eyes shot wide in shock. His face went as red hot, y/n's stomach dropping to her feet. ...Are...ARE WE KISSING?!

Y/n quickly pulled away, slapping her hand over her mouth. "OH MY GOD AMAJIKI I'M SO SORRY!!! I was gonna kiss your cheek, but then you turned to me and I guess we ended up kissing!!! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, I'm really really really sorry-"
"I-It's okay!...I...I didn't really...mind it." He muttered. WHAT AM I SAYING?
Y/n dropped her hand from her mouth, her eyes watering in humiliation. "...Huh?"
Tamaki quickly turned his back to her, keeping his head low. "I'm sorry. That was probably weird for me to say. I take it back-"
"No! No no no! It wasn't weird! I just..." Y/n stared at her feet, playing with the ends of her hair. "Can we...maybe...try it again?"
Tamaki's heart skipped a beat as he turned to her, his eyes wide. "A-Again?"
"Only if you want to! If you don't, that's like, TOTALLY fine! It's just if we're gonna do it I don't want it to be awkward like last time-"
Before she could finish her sentence, Tamaki's lips fell into hers, giving her a quick kiss.
He stepped back, covering his mouth. "S-Sorry. That was rude of me. To interrupt you-"
And just like that, y/n pulled Tamaki back into her by the wrist, kissing him again. This time, the kiss lasted longer, y/n's arms wrapping around his neck.
Tamaki slowly traced his arms down to her waist, his stomach erupting with butterflies. I-Is this happening? Am I doing okay? This feels...so nice. She taste...so sweet-Wait am I even doing a good job!? What if I'm so bad at kissing that she ends up hating me!?-
Y/n lightly pulled away, giving a small smirk. "I guess we're even then." She whispered, diving back into the kiss. As their lips met, he could feel y/n's tongue slip through his lips, making Tamaki nearly fall to his knees.
...I don't...
I don't want this to end...

Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---

Yet, with unlimited possibilities, prosperity was the first that disappeared in the world. While there was no difference between the two faction except for the fact that they were born from different mothers, conflict eventually arose out of that single disparity. The children of light saw the foreboding darkness within the heart of their enemies, yet they, who were born in the light, did not realize that they had stepped into the darkness. Because of the desire to eliminate the proclaimed heretics, the world was plunged into chaos and war. Those born to lead the children of the darkness were originally kind hearted souls. Their sole desire was to live in order to worship their mother and goddess. When the thought of war arose, they were the first to reject it. Because he did not exist within either side of the horizon, he was alone. Kept hidden within the castle of his father, he saw little of the world. But, he was content with the life he was given. He had loved his mother and father far more than he loved the world. As long as they were beside him, he did not feel alone. But, when the fated day arrived, his life was shattered.
