"Quiet You! if Leader Kranz hears you complain like this, he'll skin us and use our hide as tents!"

Kranz ignored this exchange between the Impsharks he was assigned and continued through the Scorching hot Canyon. though he may be a High ranking Abyss Dweller even He was susceptible to Heatstroke.

Finally, He found what he was looking for. A massive boulder, Half underground. There seemed to be steam escaping from cracks in the Mostly smooth surface.

"We're here" He said in a voice akin to a snarl, He looked back at the Group of scaly blue Knee-height creatures.

The Imps immediately understood and began unpacking and assembling Materials required for a Ritual Site. an engraved stone table with an intricate seal was placed in front of Kranz.

"Get me the Sacrifice."

Kranz Ordered

"Uhh about that, Leader Kranz. We don't know what happened to it…"

one of the Imps replied

"What?"

Kranz's Killing gaze fell on the Imp, Darkness creeping across his Sclera as Orange Slits opened up where his Pupils used to be.

The Impshark who stood in front of Kranz suddenly felt its bones shatter, it fell to the ground like an empty sack. The rest of the imps took a step back as the Ominous pressure emanating from Kranz began to Devour them

"You're going back to Elvendom and Capturing another Yaksha. If you want your worthless lives to last beyond the end of our little campaign, You will succeed. and Quickly."

Kranz's seething rage seemed to snuff the air out of the Imps lungs. He pointed a finger toward the broken Imp beneath him

"KRANZ HAVE MERCY"

Were the Imp's last words as it erupted into a rain of blood and guts. A cruel reminder that the rest of the group were expendable to Kranz and he sees them as being worth less than dirt.

The pattering of footsteps signalled the approach of something moving very fast. a humanoid figure poked its head out at the top of the cliff. It stared at Kranz for a brief moment as if confirming it's destination and then descended down the cliff, Moving on all fours like a primal beast.

"a Chimera?" Kranz wondered as the creature came into clear view, it had vividly human features Abdomen and up, while the rest was a jumble of wild animals stitched together. The human part's skin was the colour of decay, it had rotting hair and sunken eyes. Its mouth was sealed shut.

This creature is just one type of War Machine used by Abyss Dwellers. It belonged under the umbrella term of 'The Fallen'

Kranz, somewhat aware of the Chimera's purpose, poked a bony finger into its forehead. The Creature's skull split open and two rods Sprang out from the cavity that used to be its scalp.

"Greetings master Kranz." The Rods began to vibrate and a Distorted voice sounded in The group's ears, Kranz stared at the creature now fully having caught the gist of the matter

"The elders have organised an urgent gathering of all Dwellers ranked master and above stationed on Archelon Forward Base. You are Obliged to Attend should you wish to be successful in your plan"

The rods protruding from the creature shot back in and its skull reassembled itself.

Kranz scratched at his Ashen hair and kicked the rear of the Messenger Chimera in frustration as it began to retreat

"Fucking brass. I just got here for fuck sake!"

He directed his gaze onto the group of imps he was assigned as Servants

they cowered in fear knowing full well his wrath was about to be directed onto them

Kranz Mercilessly and Brutally Executed the entire group of Imps. lumps of blue flesh and guts scattered around where he stood
