《The Titan of Valour》"Brun"

The Town of Merca, Outskirts of the state of Vaillance
Drake descended down the hill overlooking the Town. He felt the slight rush of Zephyr through his cropped black hair as he combed a hand through it almost instinctively. He adjusted his rucksack which held the spoils of his hunt today, a Tri-Horned Black Boar which would fulfill himself and his Master's needs for the rest of the week. As he approached the Town gates his carefree demeanor soured and replaced itself with one of contempt, as he lowered his gaze and gritted his teeth.
"Hey, it's the brun runt! where do you think you're going?" jeered one of the guards on duty at the Gate post
"Zip it paul, That kid's been going into the forest a lot lately. Apparently he can hunt" Said the Other Condescendingly
"well what if one day, Old brun here goes in and never comes back out?" Continued the first one
"then we'd have no target walking around town now would we?" answered the second one following up with a tittered laugh
Drake, Grit his teeth and kept his eyes to the ground as proceeded past the gate. Ears ringing with the mockery as he walked toward his rundown home
what just transpired was nothing more than daily life for the boy
"Brun" was the Townfolks label for Drake, as he does not fit into the mould of Vaillance's Populous, where most if not everyone has a Fair pigmentation and light hair colours. Drake did not resemble what was a norm for them, His skin, a Bronzed Complexion, His eyes, dark and lifeless. His hair completely black other than a peculiar Patch of white growing on the left of his head. In a way Drake was a drab and colourless existence compared to the Kingdom's Vibrance, So he is treated like an outcast, not a day goes by reminding him that he is different.

One person being the exception
Drake knocked on the door of the rundown house. alternating knocks in a particular pattern. the door swung open a heartbeat later and stood the man who raised Drake
Nord Fyrce, a man Who looked to be in his 40s, adorned with long blonde hair neatly bound in a ponytail, Blue eyes and Regal features, and more than occasionally the central topic of gossip across Town folk.
"Yo kid, Hope you brought back something good!"
Nord addressed Drake with a glistening white grin
"Master you'll be surprised, Trust me." Drake spoke to someone other than himself after nearly half a day of Hunting, His own Gravelly voice reverberating in his head. Drake made his way into the Kitchen and set down his burlap rucksack stretching it open, Revealing the contents
Nord let out an Impressed whistle "A Tri-Horned Boar? I think I've been Underestimating you a little, kid.."
Drake Sighed. "Now then, I did the hunting, now you take care of the cooking. I'll be in my room if you need me" He said in a voice that Evinced how tired he was.
Nord nodded "Alright, Get some rest. I have a little something to talk to you about, So let's do so over dinner. Sound good?"
Drake raised his hand in confirmation as he Descended the stairs leading down to his basement bedroom.
Drake's room was a simple square, If not for the fact the floor was hard dirt, It was neat and clean. In one corner was the sack of Sheepskin stuffed with dry grass he slept in and his Wardrobe. The rest of the room was Occupied by his study table and Shelf which contained his books and Board games. A weapon rack stood next to the door. It housed his training weaponry and the Bow and Arrows he took off his back and stored away.

"its well past admission date, At this rate I don't think I'll make it as a Mage'' Drake Monologued in a Melancholy.
"I'll just have to try harder, A Hundred times harder than anyone else!" he resolved, Lightly banging the wall with his fist.
The room was illuminated by narrow rectangular Windows which refracted the rays of the setting sun inside his room. Drake wearily took off his Brown tunic preferring to sleep topless and hopped on his sack, Sinking into the sheepskin
A few moments later, Darkness fell into his room, If not for a brief moment. The glass cages hanging from the ceiling came alive with the light of Lumaflies, Insects that fed off of darkness and emit pulses of light. Drake let himself be swept away in his Thoughts and soon arrived in dreamland.

I was Born the Unloved Twin
You've probably heard this sort of story before. Once upon a time, blah blah blah a boy and a girl fell love and everything was beautiful and perfect, except for this thing called life getting in their way. He was this cool foreign prince and she was basically perfect. Really it's a very boring run of the mill story. I'll even spoil it for you, they kill the villainess at the end. Not the type of story I'd read personally. So where do I fit into this?Apparently I'm her older twin sister and the very very lucky fiance to the foreign prince. You know, the dead villainess? Sucks I know. Now I get to do it all over again from the beginning.Curse my life ------ So you're somewhat interested in what this thing is about and looking to see if it's even worth reading? Let's get the worst of it out of the way first: This is a boring story, very tedious, mundane and downright just boring. It's too slow, the characters are too confusing & make possibly retarded choices. It's an isekai/reborn type Slice of Life novel that plays on the villainess noble girl trope but the MC gets no OP cheats, no magical powers, not even some satisfying face slapping or such self-fulfillment fantasy. Wow, I'm doing a terrible job advertising this thing. If you're somehow still interested, if you were ever interested how an average modern person, reborn with all their host's memories, could live out their life in this situation, mending personal relationships one step at a time, or wondered what happened in between all the time skips in other novels, maybe give Unloved Twin a try. This is an awkward novel, the pacing is slow, and there is no time skips. For some reason still, I really love this little story I'm making. Talk to me on: https://discord.gg/ARkSMFPbew
