Opening his eyes, looking around he saw a damp and dark cell that he was know trapped in, as Kaleb came to terms with the fact that he was probably going to suffer agonizing torment through torture before being fed to these vile people, he mentally prepared himself for the torture and death that was to come, while also trying to keep calm and find a way out of this predicament he found himself in.

Not too long after he calmed down he heard footsteps drawing closer to his cell, when got up and looked towards his cell door he came face to face with Elder Eli and Elder Sloan, Elder Eli had a emotionless expression on his face, but Elder Sloan looked like he had just been given a gift, because he was the one responsible for torturing people that the villager deemed as enemy’s.

Elder Eli looked at Kaleb “nothing personal kid, just that you saw something you shouldn’t have, maybe you’ll have better luck in your next life.”

Elder Sloan on the other hand couldn’t wait to start tormenting Kaleb, so he decided to start with some mental torture “ khehe kid don’t expect me to be as kind as Brother Eli, i’m going to slowly take you apart while your awake to experience every excruitating second, but before that i’m going to let you watch as I rip apart your parents and then feed them to the animals, for they concealed that you weren’t their real child, and weren’t a part of the bloodline of this village, which almost caused our secret to be known to the world, which is a crime punishable by death by torture.”

Kaleb was horrified the only people he had any real concern or respect for where his parent’s he knew he wasn’t their real son, but when they told him he wasn’t upset, instead he was even more grateful to his parent’s for taking in a strange child and making them their son and raising him, and what did they get for all their trouble, a fate worse than death, and it was all his fault, as he came to this realization a horrible knot formed in his stomach making him want to throw up for the pain and suffering he caused his parents.

Luckily or unluckily he wasn’t going to give any time to dwell on that because Elder Sloan had entered his cell and started to punch him in his stomach and smashing his palm into his nose breaking it, and then knocked him around a little bit more until Kaleb lost consciousness.
