《Flaming Light》Chapter 11: Explosion of rage: Lion's Fury!!!

The Battle Royale Tournament has begun and Serena, Dubnet, Damian, Tesla, Teru and Maka are through to the next round. Two groups remain to have their matches concluded; Group G which includes Dayve vs Gerrar vs Erraz and Group H having Kevine vs Kevla vs Borro. Now in this epic battle of prodigies from the golden group G about to start, who will emerge victorious?

“This is a tale of humans, beasts, and beings from other worlds. A tale of girl who wants to surpass the strongest; no this is their tale. A tale of hope. A tale of Flaming Light.”

Elsewhere, in a land far away from the Central Plains where the Battle Royale is taking place, in a huge mansion, sits a man of short full black hair, wearing a pair of eyeglass, a long black coat all buttoned up, a pair of black trousers and shoes, holding a hat in his left hand with his legs crossed. He is viewing the tournament through a big holographic circle acting as his screen. He is seated in what seems to be like a very large dining room, with a long table at the center, having six chairs on each length side of the table while the short width has a chair on each side. He is seated on the chair at one of the width side, as he views the tournament.

“Quite the tournament this has been,” the man in his deep voice, comments.

“Yes to some extent, one can say this has been enthralling, however, they’ll have to do better to leave a captivating and entrancing impression in the hearts of many,” another man says, stepping down from a stairs behind the man in glasses. This man has long full black hair, reaching down to his waist, dark crimson eyes and a circle goatee beard. He is dressed in a long dark grey jacket, a pair of black trousers and boots, having his hands tucked into his trousers’ pockets, as he walks down.

“Oh I agree. Well, seems this next match will provide us some intrigue. Don’t you agree, Leonardo?” the man in glasses responds.

“Humph. Let’s see if it does, Jac de Jac,” the man with the long hair, Leonardo, replies.

“Please as usual, call me Jac,” the man in glasses, Jac, insists.

Back at the Central Plains, Glory Academy, where the tournament is being held.

Kiiara heads to join her parents in the royal viewing center at the far top, alongside May, who is still injured but recovering. (May does not really like infirmaries, so Kiiara snuck into her room and carried her away). On getting to the entrance of the royal viewing quarters, Kiiara and May encounter Isabelle, Queen of Aquaville and May’s biological mother. Kiiara and May are surprised for a bit staring at Isabelle as Isabelle returns the gaze at them, looking irritated, expecting them to give way for her to pass. However, Kiiara, being the stubborn brat that can she be sometimes, stands still, holding May by the hand, insisting that Isabelle should be the one to give way.

“You’re in my way,” Isabelle says.

“Same goes for you, old lady,” Kiiara replies, like an angry spoiled brat.

“You can’t even look your child in the eye and encourage her or comfort her. Why do you despise your own child so much?!” Kiiara adds.

“And who are you to question me, little brat?” Isabelle replies, arrogantly.

“Before I lose my temper, get… out,” she commands.

“And what if I don’t?” Kiiara responds, sticking her tongue out.

Isabelle becomes furious and her elemental energy gradually begins to raise, as she slowly stretches her right hand to grab Kiiara. This surge in power, scares Kiiara and May but Isabelle’s hand is soon stopped by Diana immediately appearing and taking hold of it.

“That’s enough now, Isabelle. Don’t you think?” Diana says, looking at Isabelle in the eye.

“Hoo, mummy has come to save the day however one day mummy won’t be around,” Isabelle mocks.

“What do you mean by that?” Diana questions.

“Well death comes for us all at some point, doesn’t it?” Isabelle replies.

“Humph!!!” Isabelle sighs and removes her hand from Diana’s grasp.

“Now now Kiiara, your time will come. Let her pass through,” Diana says to Kiiara.

“Hmmm,” Kiiara frowns and angrily pouts.

Diana sighs, walks gently to Kiiara, smiles at her and knocks her on the head.

“I won’t be so gentle as to ask you twice, you sweet little brat,” she says, dragging Kiiara by the ear, giving way for Isabelle to walk through.

“Ouch!!! It hurts!!!” Kiiara screams as she is dragged by her mother.

As Isabelle passes by, she does not even turn her face to May at all. This saddens May but once Kiiara is free from her mother and Isabelle has passed, Kiiara runs and grabs May by the hand, taking her to where they can be seated. During all these, Gray Ignition, King of Earthville and May’s biological father, is not fazed at all and keeps his gaze on the match about to start. May is saddened by the fact that none of her biological parents even cared to say a word to her. Kiiara notices her pain and puts her hands on May’s shoulders saying,

“Don’t worry, the time will come when they will definitely acknowledge you.”

May turns to Kiiara and smiles after hearing those words and they both walk to have their seats. They quickly greet those around them, Kiiara’s parents, Marcus and his family. They seat at the side Phoenix and Diana are seated, just in front of them, to be exact.

Back at the match...

Echelone has already given the signal to start, Dayve, Gerra and Erraz stand, facing each other as their heated battle is about to begin. Swiftly, Gerrar moves to attack Dayve, appearing at his left side and swinging one of his swords diagonally to cut him however, Dayve quickly blocks the attack with his own sword. Erraz immediately appears above Dayve and using his weapon which are two short blades connected by a long chain, he thrusts one of the blades at Dayve who evades the attack by stepping back. Gerrar goes behind Dayve to slash him but Dayve, using the chain from Erraz, moves in a hundred and eighty (180) degrees, appearing opposite his former position, now facing Gerrar. He quickly pulls the chain, drawing Erraz down to the ground and sharply jabs him with his shoulder, sending him flying against Gerrar, who sees Erraz coming and dodges.

“Impressive however to think that they’ll both attack him simultaneously,” Kiiara comments.

“Well, that’s to be expected since they have quite a good knowledge of Dayve’s level and abilities, I guess,” Phoenix speaks.

Back to the match…

“Erraz, allow me to fight with Dayve, one on one, after which we can battle it out between us,” Gerrar suggests.

“Huh?” Erraz replies.

“You said ‘we can battle it out’. Seems like you’ve already concluded that you can defeat me here,” Dayve responds.

“That’s right. I have no intention of losing to the likes of you,” Gerrar replies.

“Fine by me. Hey Sir Echelone, hope it’s alright if I just stay in a corner waiting for the victor of this little fight of theirs?” Erraz inquires.

“Sure. As long as you are on the fighting platform and you’re not unconscious or rendered unable to continue fighting, you can decide on such tactics,” Echelone answers.

“Alright then. Have it your way Gerrar,” Erraz says and retreats to a far corner on the fighting platform.

“Interesting, one on one, Gerrar’s pride knows no bounds, notwithstanding, he is quite talented,” Serena says, watching from the participants’ viewing center.

“Well, that’s my Gerrar for you. I believe he can win this,” Tesla declares with a smile on her face.

Gerrar and Dayve stare at each other for a moment as the cool breeze sweeps across the arena making their hairs flow gently with the wind.

“From here on out, I intend to give it my all,” Gerrar warns and Dayve focuses his gaze on him the more.

Sparks of lightning discharge from Gerrar’s eyes and in an instance, two other copies of him appear.

“What?! How are there two other Gerrars? Is he using a clone technique?” May inquires, surprised at the other copies of Gerrar as are some other spectators as well.

“They’re not clones, more like feints or speed images. It’s just Gerrar moving at a very high speed making it seem like he’s now three people. It becomes quite hard to figure out which is the real Gerrar and if not that he had explained the technique to me before, I would be as confused as some others right now,” Kiiara explains to May.

At once, Gerrar dashes to strike Dayve once again from the left, swinging his sword horizontally this time to cut Dayve. But Dayve quickly bends forward, evading the attack and also swipes his sword to cut Gerrar. The sword cuts through but it is just an image of Gerrar, not the actual Gerrar himself. He quickly stands straight and Gerrar appears in his front, about to thrust his sword into his chest. Dayve swiftly moves to parry the attack but is once again disappointed when the parry goes through indicating that it is not the actual Gerrar but an image of his. While this is going on, another Gerrar appears behind Dayve, launching a diagonal slash at his back but Dayve lets go of his sword, does a quick spin and uses the sheath of his sword to block the attack which was for real this time. Without delay, Gerrar draws out his other sword and swings it horizontally at Dayve who steps backwards to evade the strike. As the swing completes an arc, Gerrar says,

“Water release: Stream of Embrace!!!”

Instantly, large volume of water materialize from the arc, sprouting towards Dayve to engulf him. Dayve jumping backwards, quickly replies,

“Fire release: Lion’s Roar!!!”

Dayve releases huge amount of fire in the form of a very large and ferocious lion with its mouth fiercely opened against Gerrar’s water technique. The collision of the two techniques creates a boom as the water and fire vaporize giving off steam.

“Water release: Vapour style: Steam explosion,” Gerrar says.

Immediately, the steam expands and gives off a loud bang in front of Dayve, causing the entire fighting platform to become misty.

“Even if you use mist, against me, it won’t work,” Dayve says, shielding his face with one of his arms.

“That’s not the point,” Gerrar replies and swiftly appears in front of Dayve to land a horizontal sword strike on him, within the mist.

Dayve reacts quickly and throws his right fist at Gerrar to punch him but instead, Dayve punches the misty air as Gerrar instantly appears behind him once again, with the tip of his sword pressed against Dayve’s back.

“Let’s see you dodge this at point blank range,” Gerrar says.

“Lightning release: Darkness Destroyer,” he adds. Bolts of lightning surge through his hand, running down to the tip of his sword and releasing a huge blast of lightning which blows up everything in its part, clearing away the mist.

BOOOMMMM!!!

Everyone is amazed, engrossed and intrigued by the display of speed, skill and power. Some found it difficult to keep up with the astounding speed of the match; the speed of the fight was so fast, and it was demanding for regular students and people to even understand or see what was happening. Some found it hard to believe the high level of skill performed by these young ones and the amount of power being exhibited.

“Wonderful! Wonderful!! Wonderful!!!” the commentators shouted with excitement.

“For those who are finding it hard to see what is going, the replay would be made in very slow motion for you to understand, thank you,” they add.

“He he, you had me worried for a second there,” Dayve declares as he appears over a hundred (100) meters opposite Gerrar. The surface of the platform where Gerrar’s darkness destroyer had effect, had been shaved off from Gerrar’s postion, which was the middle of the fighting stage (about the size of three football pitches, length and width), down to the edge of the stage. It also created a thin long crack from that middle to the edge.

“To think you’d dodge that, you’ve yet learned another powerful technique,” Gerrar responds.

“That’s right. Light release: Light fade,” Dayve replies.

At the royal viewing area…

“Light fade, a technique that utilizes the speed attribute of light, endowing the user with great speed as they move in a way that they’re fading out to white. Interesting, not even many Lieutenant Generals can seamlessly pull off that technique when hit at point blank,” Marcus comments.

“I guess he’s really learning fast,” Phoenix adds.

“Now Gerrar, what would you do?” Marcus says to himself.

Back at the match…

“Humph!!! Just like that treacherous father of yours, you keep acquiring skills at an alarming rate and one day just like him, you’ll betray us all and launch an even deadlier attack. I won’t allow it. I’ll crush your spirit here, emerge victorious and show you that no matter how high you go, you will always be inferior to me,” Gerrar says. With his legs shrouded in lightning and his swords in his hands, he makes a quick dash for Dayve.

He begins launching continuous slash attacks at Dayve, saying,

“So what if you’ve learned light fade, I’ll show you that no matter how fast the hare runs, there’s always a trap to catch it and that demon power which your father is said to have acquired which I believe is in you too, I’ll push you beyond the limits and bring it out for everyone to see the true monster that you are.”

“Good luck trying but I’m pretty sure you’ll be disappointed,” Dayve replies while evading all of Gerrar’s attacks.

“Gerrar is attacking so fast, one can barely see his movements however Dayve seems to be dodging the attacks somehow,” the commentators announce.

Suddenly, Gerrar makes a high leap and tosses one of his swords at Dayve but Dayve avoids the sword and it pierces into the ground behind Dayve. Without delay, Gerrar, having clad his other sword in lightning, swings it vertically to cut Dayve, discharging a powerful bolt of lightning alongside the attack. However, to his surprise, it is the jacket of Dayve that gets cut as Dayve appears above him and lands a kick on his face. Dayve lands on the ground and quickly rushes in on Gerrar, throwing a series of punches on Gerrar’s body. Swiftly, he follows up with a knee strike to Gerrar’s solar plexus (part of the body) and quickly goes for a kick to his temple (part of the body), however, Gerrar rapidly counters the kick, stopping the intending hit. But Dayve is fast to switch to his other leg and land a kick on Gerrar’s chin. He proceeds to jump and unleash fast rushes of kicks on Gerrar’s chest with the last kick being heavy and sending Gerrar flying backwards. While Gerrar is in motion, Dayve says,

“Lion Claw!!!”

He releases large slashes of fire in a claw-like against Gerrar. The attack makes a hit and rips Gerrar however as the attack lands, the Gerrar turns into a body of water and disperses while the real Gerrar jumps backwards out of the body of water before the attack can fully land on him. While in motion, he directs his right palm at Dayve. Dayve notices something is about to happen and moves to evade but he is rendered immobile.

“What? This is--,” Dayve says to himself, unable to move as various large rays of light are seen, horizontally pressing against his body in a circular form.

“That’s right,” Gerrar says as he lands on his feet, screeching back a bit.

“Way of the Light: Binding rays. One of the fastest binding skills suited for the likes of Light fade,” Gerrar boasts.

This technique shocks everyone and leaves a remarkable impression.

“That’s a very high level skill. Even Major Generals and some Lieutenant Generals, if I may say, find it very difficult if not unable, to execute. Yet, his execution of such, was extremely fast to counter Light fade,” Phoenix says, analyzing the situation.

“Seems your son is truly a genius, Marcus,” Phoenix adds, smiling.

“Interesting, a technique that binds in a flash. That kid is quite something,” Gray says to himself.

“Seems he’s not done yet,” Marcus speaks, smiling like a proud father.

Back at the battle…

“I told you, didn’t I? I will be the one to emerge victorious,” Gerrar says, looking at Dayve.

“Humph!!! Now what next?” Dayve questions.

“Release!!!” Gerrar says within himself and instantly, his sword which landed behind Dayve, shatters into fragments and begins swirling around Dayve, gradually transmuting into a large column of rapidly spiraling water, with Dayve in the center bound by the rays of light.

“Time to end this,” Gerrar says as the sword in his hands begins to emanate huge bolts of lightning.

“With this I’ll prove that your evil Blaze family are no longer a threat, even that your mother who is not originally from Lightville. Who knows, she may have been acting as a spy for that traitor father of yours. Too bad she had to die an early death,” he adds, pointing his lightning clad sword at the mighty column of rapidly rotating water.

“You should never have mentioned my mother,” Dayve angrily but calmly says.

“What did you----?” before Gerrar can finish his statement, fear overwhelms him as he sees a gigantic fist in front of him, with a ferocious angry looking mighty lion, heading straight for him.

Gerrar is frozen not because he cannot move but for the reason that at this moment, he experiences fear and intimidation like no other. As he stares at the incoming fist with his eyes wide open, he vividly sees the letters in a gigantic form, D E A T H. Everyone in the entire school area, including the royals, at that brief moment, all feel a powerful killing intent which for very few is a similar feeling to the one felt when they came in contact with a certain man.

The gigantic fists with the lion is more of an illusion and was brought about by Dayve who has broken free of the binding rays and is already outside the column of water as the lower half of the column is already gone. He is just inches away from Gerrar, with his fist covered in a mix of normal flames and unique crimson flames, about to land a very lethal punch on Gerrar’s face. Diana attempts to get up from her seat to stop him but notices something and halts.

“Lion’s Fury.”

Once the punch is really close to Gerrar’s face, a sudden and enormous explosion with an immense banging noise happens.

BOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!

A powerful shockwave immediately follows, instantly vaporizing the other huge half of the water column, breaking all the pillars (which were just repaired after Maka’s match) on the platform, causing a deep crack of a depth of ten feet (10ft) and height of six feet (6ft) round the entire curved wall of the fighting arena and also medium cracks on the entire ground of the fighting arena including the stage, rumbling the whole school area with mighty tremors.

Everyone is silent for a moment. All felt the deadly killing intent but most could not tell what transpired as the happenings occurred in a flash.

“Sure that binding light technique was fast but as I feared he hasn’t learned much of the binding power itself that’s why Dayve’s sheer outburst of his full elemental energy could easily break off the technique although Dayve’s energy levels are off the charts compared to others. Still, Lion’s Fury is a very fearsome and destructive technique,” Phoenix thinks to himself.

“Gerrar!!!” Lilian, Gerrar’s mother, screams.

“Brother!!!” Marya and Saphhire, his sisters also scream.

“Gerrar!!!” Kiiara, Serena and Tesla from their different locations, shout simultaneously.

“This power… definitely reminds me of that man, Leonardo Blaze. If that punch packed with such killing intent had as much as just grazed Marcus’ son, we would be talking about a different thing entirely. This kid, Dayve, has some serious potentials. Hmm,” Gray thinks within himself.

“That display of power and intent, shouldn’t that guy be disqualified?!” Isabelle suggests out loud to the judges. The judges are connected to the royal viewing center through a large rectangular holographic screen and vice versa.

“I agree. He may have already killed his opponent. I guess like father like son,” Farads Hertz, King of Stormville, emphasizes.

“Now now, let’s not be hasty in our decisions,” Phoenix points out.

“What? You mean to tell me you still support the young lad even after feeling a killing intent similar to that man, Leonardo Blaze?! You all of people should know how deadly that man, Leonardo Blaze is, having suffered a personal blow from him,” Hahydroh Flo, King of Aquaville, states.

“Exactly. That’s why I also know Dayve is different from his father and the Blaze lineage,” Phoenix responds.

“Marcus that was your son right? What’s your decision?” Luxxi Hertz, Queen of Stormville, inquires.

“Hmmm,” Marcus hums, holding his chin, staring at the battlefield. Before he can say what he wants, the dust from the explosion, clears and Dayve is seen standing with his fist stretched forward and his long hair which formerly had a ponytail twist is now loosened up to his waist with a few twists remaining. Gerrar is seen, smashed into the wall as he coughs out blood and falls to the ground, leaving an imprint of himself on the way. The point from where Dayve is standing to the edge of the platform which makes up for one-eighth the entire stage, is completely cracked out.

“He’s not dead. Thank God. I guess he can continue,” Marcus says.

“What?! He could have killed him!!!” Isabelle exclaims.

“What sort of phony concern is this, Isabelle? What exactly is your aim here? Because I know you don’t care a bit about Gerrar,” Phoenix asks.

“Humph!!!” Isabelle sighs.

“No need to worry everyone, even if it was a nano second left, if Dayve was going to kill Gerrar then there are well enough hands capable of stopping him within that minute time frame,” Diana assures.

“That’s right. Besides, Dayve has a good control of his power such that he can change its output and trajectory within a very short time. That’s probably the only reason why I can remain calm. This isn’t the first time he has let out such massive burst of destructive force though I must say the level this time is quite high,” Marcus says.

“Something must have really angered him and I think we both know what it is, Marcus,” Phoenix says.

“Sure. Later I’ll go talk to them both. It’s high time Gerrar knows that we’re not who we come from or are tutored by,” Marcus replies.

Lilian (Gerrar’s mother), Marya and Sapphire (Gerrar’s sisters), Kiiara, May, Serena and Tesla are relieved to see that Gerrar is alright, at least he is alive.

At the participants viewing center…

“It was to be expected right? With all that provocation from him. Gerrar must have now pushed the wrong buttons to upset Dayve to that extent,” Dubnet calmly states, though he is also shocked at Dayve’s technique. Hearing this, Tesla frowns at him.

“He’s right though, Tesla. However my concern is that technique. Such explosive power. Makes me eager to see it at full output with a direct hit,” Damian utters.

At the Royal viewing center…

“Well, Judges what do you have to say?” Luxxi Hertz, Queen of Stormville, inquires.

“Well, he didn’t kill him. Sure, he released a killing intent so powerful, even some spectators are still struck in fear however, he took control of it at the very end and brought it under subjection. That’s something worthy of praise if you ask me. At the last minute, he changed the direction of his fists to Gerrar’s side and punched the air behind him, venting all the anger on nothing, causing a great shockwave. It was the effect of this shockwave that pulled Gerrar and forcefully slammed him into the wall. So in reality, he didn’t even lay a finger on Gerrar and for those who are careful to see and tell, you’d notice he reduced the power output of the technique at the last second and also by dispersing the shockwave, he further stepped it down. So if you ask me, I’d applaud him,” Campione, one of the judges, answers, with a half-smile on her face as she seats with her arms folded and her legs crossed.

“I wouldn’t have expected a different answer from you Campione. All the same, what will also be done is that he will receive a warning and the next time such fierce killing intent is released in this tournament, he will be disqualified,” Deva, another of the judges, suggests.

“My thoughts exactly,” Dinah expresses.

“We’re not breeding weaklings here, I don’t see anything wrong so far,” Goryu declares and sighs.

“That’s better. Fair enough,” Farads Hertz, King of Stormville, replies.

“Boring,” Campione whispers.

“So all judges agree for the contestant Dayvelion Blaze to continue?” Echelone asks.

The judges signify with a nod of agreement.

“Dayvelion Blaze, you have been pardoned for your release of killing intent however you now have a yellow warning meaning the next time such offense is committed in this tournament, you will be disqualified,” Echelone declares to Dayve.

Dayve takes a deep breath and exhales. He stands straight, faces the sky and takes another deep breath. With a look of calm rage, he turns his gaze to the nearly unconscious Gerrar.

“No matter how many times you talk trash about my so-called father, I wouldn’t budge because I don’t care one bit about him, in fact, I consider him as a threat that must be eliminated and I want to be the one to put an end to him. However, if you dare say hogwash about my mother, the woman who sacrificed herself not just for me to live but for Lightville strangers whom she could have easily left to save herself, I will definitely not take it lightly, not with anyone. Gerrar, the same love you have for your family is what I have for my mother since she’s the only family I know. I still consider you a friend, that’s why you’re not fatally wounded or even dead. So before you say anything about my mother next time, for your sake, think carefully because I will not be so kind as to hold back, if there is a next time,” Dayve says to the battered and almost-knocked-out Gerrar, who is lying exhausted on the ground, though he hears all that Dayve utters.

“Sir Echelone, distinguished guests, judges and everyone, apologies for my angry display of power. I do not intend to repeat such,” Dayve turns round and apologizes.

During all the ruckus, Erraz somehow managed to still remain on the stage.

“Now that that is over, shall we begin a proper battle Dayve?” Erraz says to Dayve.

“Sure, however, I will be going strong from now on,” Dayve replies.

“How do you still even have so much energy left to fight? Such a mighty powerhouse,” Erraz says within himself.

Back at the mansion in a faraway land…

“Intriguing!!! Fantastic. Seems your son has attained yet another level, Leonardo. As expected of the son of a genius. The Blaze family has always produced excellent warriors capable of reaching the emperor class,” Jac, the man in glasses, comments.

“Humph!!! Good amount of power, poor execution,” Leonardo replies.

“Poor execution? He missed on purpose. He’s not so heartless like you. That’s too bad though,” Jac responds.

“That’s why I said poor execution. He’s too soft and once something bad about Ruby is said, he flares up instantly. Must be the reason for the sudden change. However, if I were to put Lion’s Fury in a ten level (10) hierarchy, with each level having an exponential increase in power, then I would say he’s on level three which is quite impressive, considering the time he used in learning it,” Leonardo says.

“Ruby Blaze, your dearest wife. One who held very strong dimensional element ability but never groomed it much. Such a shame. May her soul rest in peace,” Jac states.

“Nevertheless, maybe you should feed him some of that demon power of yours. Might help him find his heartless side,” Jac suggests.

“No way. He won’t accept it and I won’t force it on him. When it’s time, he’ll decide on which path he wants to take,” Leonardo replies.

“Speaking of which, where exactly are your people?” Leonardo asks.

“Well, Lady Kassidy is on vacation and you don’t want to disturb her when she’s on vacation however rest assured when it’s time, she will appear, she never disappoints. Fuu is busy wandering the free lands, lost lands maybe, while gulping down her gallons of liquor; she could be anywhere really. Jergens has gone to bring in a sort of new member though he’s not exactly new while the others are all about doing their different businesses,” Jac answers, sipping from a glass of wine.

“I see. What of him?” Leonardo asks again.

“By him, I assume you mean Neutrogena? He’s looking for something at the moment and his exact whereabouts I do not know. He could be anywhere at the moment,” Jac answers.

“How is it that a master of the seven dimensions cannot tell where someone is within those dimensions?” Leonardo questions.

“Well, he’s hiding his location and making it difficult to be tracked. I’m not the only looking for him you know. However, fret not, once he finds what he’s looking for he’ll be back and that’s exactly when we strike,” Jac replies.

“And the lost artifact, Armageddon?” Leonardo inquires.

“I have no idea. It’s possible it’s with him; it’s possible that what’s he looking for and it’s also possible that it no longer exists nevertheless with or without it, we shall bring about a new dawn to this world,” Jac states.

“Are you ready for a revolution, Leonardo?” Jac asks.

“Hope you, Neutrogena and your team know that once we both get what we want, our alliance ends that instance,” Leonardo proclaims.

“Well of course. That’s how we do business after all. Hope your allies will also come through once the Dark Emperor, Neutrogena arrives?” Jac inquires.

“Without a doubt, we are ready on standby,” Leonardo replies.

“Good. Now let’s see this next battle who shall win, Darkness or Light?” Jac says.

Back at the Cetral Plains, Glory Academy where the tournament rages on…

Dayve and Erraz stand at opposite ends, facing each other. Dayve is now wearing just a medium sleeved blue t-shirt since his jacket was used as a decoy and cut in half by Gerrar, the normal pair of trousers every other participant is putting and a pair of black boots with a metallic ‘X’ design round each. Erraz is putting on the normal uniform all contestants are wearing for the tournament although his jacket is unbuttoned, his sleeves are folded and he is wearing a pair of black ankle boots with a letter ‘e’ on each. He is holding his weapon in his hands which are two short blades connected together by a chain.

“I see your resolve is riding on revenge against your father and your love for your mother while mine is riding on the love for and of my parents and kingdom. However, I want us to place a bet which will also add to our resolves. It’s something I’ve already discussed with her. I want us to bet that whoever wins this match will be the one to date Kiiara,” Erraz declares to Dayve.

“What?” Dayve responds and chuckles.

“You’re quite the interesting guy, Erraz. Fine, if she agreed, then let it be so. What an interesting bet, bring it on,” he adds.

“Nice. She agreed because she said she was confident you will win. I wonder what made her think so however unlike Gerrar, prepare to be amazed, Dayve!!!” Erraz states and the two rush in to attack themselves.

What power will Erraz display that is making him so confident to place a bet. Erraz and Dayve both possess opposing elements, darkness and light respectively.

Who will be the victor? Will it be Erraz or will it be Dayve.
