You are at the gunpoint of an alien. The last thing you want to be written on your tombstone is – KILLED BY AN UGLY ALIEN, so you make a tough choice and decide to jump inside the light.
When you jump in, you find yourself surrounded by light. For a moment, everything is weightless and you have no thoughts. But thoughts come to your mind again and the light disappears. You end up falling on a soft part of the spaceship.
Somebody has turned the light off.
One alien is under you. You are lucky that you landed on an alien. You gaze around but can't find any alien there which had jumped inside before you.
They must have teleported somewhere. You think. In fact, you know it. Why wouldn't you? You are a damn space cop.
A liquid jet comes at you from the open roof. You step aside and let it splatter beside you. Droplets of the pink liquid get on your shin. You feel a burning sensation in the spots. But the stupid alien on top still has the gun. But you are also not vulnerable.
You pick a pistol from the uniform of an alien you had just landed on and fire at him. The alien moves out of your sight, so you decide to run.
While running, the alien fires again. He misses again, but you can feel your back burning. Such burns are part of your duty, so you continue running.
Inside the passage, you see many aliens who are not dressed in uniforms. They look casual to you. Those green bitches are no different from the cardboard cut-outs you used to shoot in your training.
Those were fake guns, but now you have a real one. You decide to seize the opportunity and shoot at them in Wild West style. In case you are wondering, yes, you have a collection of Wild West type of movies on your computer.

Click. Bang.
Click. Bang.
This is fun. These aliens are easy to kill. Maybe because they are not meant to fight. You don’t care about it and continue the killing rampage. You find a not so peaceful alien with a big gun and gun him down.
With him gone, you have no alien left to kill in the passage. You look at your pistol. There is plenty of jet left in your gun but you have a big-ass rifle in front of you.
Remember, having a big gun is your dream.

The Ginsu Mage
Currently in queue: Episode 13 in progress. Set in the Aurora: Apocalypse universe.Updated every Friday. If it's not updating, I'm working on my other fictions. If nothing's updating, I ran out of whiskey. Be patient. The Gunsu Mage is a hot mess of garbage that should not be taken seriously by anyone. It’s a vaguely-GameLit spoof of Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni (In Another World With My Smartphone) where the MC ends up in another world and fused with his kitchen applicances, mashed up with fantasy western elements. Dungeons & Dragons meets the Wild West in an alternate high-fantasy timeline. Guns & Goblins. Cowboys & Wizards. Locomotives & Dwarves. Don’t expect great writing, accurate numbers, or common sense. Hell, don’t expect anything — just relax and let it happen.

Points of Light - An Oral History of the Collapse
Humanity endures. The phrase is not only an informal slogan of the reformed United Nations, but a rallying cry the world over. Even in the face of extermination, we struggled, we fought, and we endured. But just how close did we actually come? In our darkest hour, how many steps separated our species from oblivion? And are we even safe now? Were the mistakes made by earlier generations really so obvious? Or are they only so blatent when we look back with the advantage of hindsight? If so, what horrors might be staring us in the face even now that no one has the foresight to prevent? Drawn from thousands of interviews, as well as uncorrupted contemporary recordings and source documentation dating back to the early 2000s; Points of Light is a definative look at the last half century of upheaval, prosperity and carnage. It tells the tale of what happened, how it happened, who was responsible and most importantly, what we might be able to do to prevent it from happening again. This is a rewrite of a previously started fiction under a pen-name. Chapters will be updated every two days at 6:00 EST.
