While Parasite was fully controlling the body and mind of Yu Min he didn’t waste his time. During those days staying at sect Parasite began to identify himself as the male, potentially it was because his first host was male. Due to this Parasite begins to evolve personality while all moves, words or noises were done by Parasite.
While waiting for the recovery of both brothers Parasite was thinking about different ways to beat The Black Wolf in 1:1 combat. There were many mistakes done by Yu Min when he was fighting, mostly due to emotions related to fear of death. Additionally, neither Yu Min nor Parasite tested the Armour which was won in the tournament. While now Parasite can control the first one it was time to check how good the armour is now. He took one of the knives which are used for skinning prey and several times stabbed the armour. After checking it he found that on the armour there were only very tiny holes from the tip of the knife. In other words, with such a weapon it is impossible to do huge harm. Potentially Wolf Claws can make bigger harm, but even then armour can neglect some damage. In other words, in a face to face fight Parasite could really withstand several attacks of the Wolf in good condition.
Next weapon which could be used is snake poison. However, Parasite knew that at least 10 snakes used all their poison and Black Wolf still could withstand that. Due to this Parasite went to the Pavilion of Knowledge and asked Azai Muboku if there was any information about poison. Azai was little surprised about that request, but when Parasite explained why he was looking for this information Elder Azai had provided the literature without any hesitation.

Before Parasite knew that poison can be used for creating blood restoration pills. But after reading a book about poison he found several different ways of using Snake Poison. The first way was creation of concentrated poison which required 3 vials of poison and several herbs. The effect was 10 times stronger. However, for Parasite that was not a solution while he was required somehow to inject that poison into the body of the wolf. However, there were 3 more ways to use such poison. In the book it was explained that snake poison had several effects, one was a tremendous increase of heartbeat. And it doesn't stop until people will not take antidotes. In other words, mostly everybody was dying from poison while the heart of a person or monster couldn’t work at an increased rate for very long. In other words, at some point the heart was exploding. That effect was used in the blood restoration pills but the effect was controlled by other components. Next effect was erosion. If a monster or Cultivator on QI Subdual Realm with a very strong heart would be beaten by a snake, they still have a chance to die from that effect if antidote will not be taken. Snake poison would be eroisoning heart walls as well as all other internal organs. That effect was not strong in the short run, but if person would not take antidote in several days in best case scenario cultivator will be alive, but would gain problems with heart for whole their life. In the worst case scenario they would die. And one of the receipts was mentioning how to increase that effect and as well required 3 vials of poison. In the book it was told that acid produced according to the receipt can corrode wolf skin very easily. The last effect was local paralysis. Snakes were attacking either in the night or if there were many of them they were ambushing from trees. In the night a snake can bite a person and that person will not wake up because the zone which was bitten would be paralysed. In other words, a person will not fill anything. Receipt explained that this type of poison could paralyse any part of the body for 5-10 minutes if applied to an open wound. And that required only one vial of poison.

With all this knowledge Parasite went to the Alchemy Pavilion to request those poison. In total he paid 6 points to obtain those. Two points for first two receipts and 1 point for Paralysing poison. If he didn’t have that poison with him he would be required to pay an additional point for each vial with poison.
Such equipment made Parasite strategy more flexible. He could be sure that he could bite one wolf by himself only with poison. Corrosive poison to open wounds and then concentrated poison to increase heart rate. In such cases any body could die either due to the fact that the heart will not withstand or from huge blood loss. Fast heart rate will increase blood flow and thus an open wound would be bleeding much stronger. However, monsters or cultivators would gain more strength for a short period of time and to neglect that it is possible to use paralysing poison. If applied to legs or arms it would disable them for enough time to wait until the opponent will face death.
But even without the poison Parasite created another strategy which is much riskier while it would be required to get into close combat. But if it is utilised perfectly he could kill one wolf by himself. Parasite would be required to utilise Wind Steps in order to dodge and then get closer to the Wolf head to punch it. Last combat showed that “Crushing Fist” punch could desoriantate Black Wolf. But several such punches for sure could kill the wolf. Such a strategy was very risky for a normal cultivator for the QI Formation realm while one hit with claws would put such cultivators on death row. However, Parasite had Armour which could withstand several attacks.
The last but not list, Parasite had the “Blood Needle” technique which he can use in the worst case scenario to get another host body. It would require another cultivator to be present nearby and this cultivator should be on the QI Formation Realm or in the beginning of QI Subdual Realm. It was a requirement while his attack has less success rate with higher level of cultivator.
All this time Parasite was not only creating different strategies, but as well as consuming wolf meat full of energy. Until the full recovery of 2 brothers he was able to use all meat and reach level 8 major stage. Wolf meat had a much higher effect than QI Formation Pills. But that was mostly due to body resistance. The more pills you take the more your body would be resistant to them. Thus with each level it was required to take more and more pills to achieve higher realm. And while the body didn’t yet have any resistance for the Black Wolf meat it could gain much more energy.

5 64The Order of Sekhmet
Meet Rowan who may or may not be really enthusiastic about telling you how his life is with the goddess of war. It is naturally far from being peaceful, but the blade-wielding, fourth-wall-breaking protagonist certainly wouldn't have it any other way. Egyptian deities? Check. Sword fights? Check. Demonic arts? Check. Burning passion? Check. After all, blood is a good moisturizer. Please note that I have flagged my content. There is and will be content that may trigger you, particularly if you've been through toxic relationships. While I do my best not to paint these moments in the best light, they exist and are crucial parts of my story. Things are kicked up a notch beginning with chapters named 'The Old World'. Everything before is (nearly) vanilla. Update schedule is every Thursday/Friday, varying times!
8 247Despondent Divinity
There exists a Great Seal which split the world in two, one half ravaged by the Darkness, the other a safe haven of Light. Since the collapse of the old world, 20,000 years have passed, and the world watches on as their only protection from the Plague of Plagues slowly dissipates. Only the strong may survive the oncoming Demon horde, and the forgotten prince, Jack Calmira, fears he may not have what it takes. In a world where weakness is punished by death, what are weak men to do? Author's Note: Expect a chapter or two every month, but I'll get faster eventually. This story isn't a Wuxia, but it has a lot of eastern influence. The MC isn't OP and is flawed. Less action, more character driven. Constructive criticism would be appreciated as it's my first story. Chinese culture has inspired a lot of the novel, but much of it is an amalgamation of different cultures, some made up and some not. Think Xianxia + Shounen with a mix of western and eastern fantasy elements.
