After the recovery of 2 Brother Zhe Fa and Zhe Li, the whole group will gather together before the main gates. Parasite saw that both Zhe Fa and Zhe Li were not very glad that they should go to the woods one more time. They had fear on their faces, but still they tried to make it seem like nothing happened several days ago.

This time when they got to the woods, the brothers were always together and tried to be as near as possible to the Vu Rai. Any rustle was causing them to panik and look into all sides waiting for the next ambush of the wolf. Parasite was clearly feeling all emotions of three brothers and as well he was feeling irritation from the Inner Disciple side. Vu Raj was dissatisfied with the condition of three brothers, but currently he couldn’t do anything. First day in the woods was an awful experience. All of the Parasites could feel the emotions of the surrounding group.

In other words, the power of Parasite didn’t only allow one to feel emotions better, but as well to feel emotions of surrounding cultivators and creatures at the same time. He as well begins to test his new power on 3 brothers by creating new emotions in their mind. Parasite was trying to induce emotion of confidence in them.

“Other cultivators were passing this test. Inner Disciple is with you and he will not allow this to happen one more time. You just should always be with him and he will defend you”

Currently it was very hard for Parasite, but with practice it should be much easier to be done. Additionally, brothers were not in the comfort situation and due to this confidence emotion was suppressed by their fear. But for Parasite it was great while he could check how strong his new power is.

First days in the woods were very calm. Team didn’t get far away from the camp. Mostly Vu Rai was getting on the hunt by himself and was taking only Parasite while Parasite asked to participate. On the other hand, my brother didn't show any initiative to get out of the camp. Only when Vu Rai was forcing them did they obey to leave the camp.

During Vu Rai and Parasite passages Inner Disciple was teaching many Parasite things. How to check for the Snake nests, see Devil Pit places and understand where is Black Wolf territory locates. He was amazed how quickly Parasite could learn that. But little did he know that in reality Parasite was scanning Dark Wood around him all the time and was improving his skills in it. He was able to fill the emotions of Spine Snakes and as well trace the emotions of Black Wolf. The only problem was to fill the Devil Pit plant while it was not realy monster but more like a plant and due to this it was not emitting enough emotions. But in 1-2 metres radius Parasite was able to feel the Devil Pit. In other words, if Parasite is ever required to run away he will need to use all knowledge in order to not get into the trap of Devil Pit. Mostly Devil Pits were located in the darker places where trees were covering everything from the sunlight as well as grass was growing over the pit while surrounding territory was covered only with soil. For a person it would look like a small grass island. Rarely several Devil Pits were located together in such a case it was harder to determine that it is a devil pit. Thus it was recommended to not step on the grass in the woods if that is not surrounded by other plants.

Vu Rai even showed how it is possible to get poison from Devil Pit. They gathered several hares which were still alive and put them on one of such grass islands. In a moment such grass islands fall down and all haired as well. And then it appeared one more time like it was always there. After several minutes Vu Rai dig whole near the devil pit which was 1 metre dip and then made a whole in the wall of the devil Pit. using this whole he took out all dead hares with many holes in their body. Afterwards they were draining the blood in a special vessel. Vu Rai explained that he would go afterwards to an alchemy sect and would give 20% of poison for dividing poison from hare's blood. From the book Parasite knew that poison of Devil Pit was much stronger than snake one. In a small amount it was causing hallucinations and was used like a drug. Sect was selling it to many other places while it was popular and only in the Dark Wood such plant was growing. However, in huge doses it could quickly kill cultivators. It was paralysing internal organs. However, it is required to get into the bloodstream to get an effect.

Days were going and Parasite was better at controlling his new power. Brothers begin to feel more confident. And after one week they begin to ask to take them as well to the woods. Due to this Vu Rai was able to begin their training. He was amazed how good Parasite was at identifying snake nests, hare's location and Black Wolf territory. Once Vu Rai showed them the location, the Queen Spine Snake territory was. It was very quiet, there were no sounds which was normal for the Dark Wood. It seemed that there were no life forms around. But Parasite was feeling the emotions of a huge amount of Spine Snakes. There were around hundreds of them. And they were only on the edge of their territory.

Last time they were ambushed just due to the fact that Queen was migrating with its nest and due to this many life forms were still present there.

Vu Rai explained that such migration may cause waves of monsters to attack their sect. Each time when a group of monsters are migrating it causes tension in the Dark Wood and some monsters are required to leave their places.

Time was going on and QI Formation cultivators began to survive in this forest. But neither of the 3 brothers were better than Parasite. He was sensing danger much better than Inner Disciple. During those months they filled themselves with other ambushes from snakes but brothers were better prepared that time. Even once another wolf ambushed their group.

In that situation Vu Rai said that they have now chance to try their skills. But Zhe Di and Zhe Li were freezed when the wolf appeared. Only Zhe Fa and Parasite were able to do something. In that situation Parasite understood that the Inner Disciple would cover him and due to this he tried to take the fight against the wolf. In the beginning he was successful in using “Wind Step” to dodge the first hit. But when he tried to get to the Wolf head, it almost bit Parasite. And due to this Parasite was required to dodge one more time with “Wind Step” to get a higher position in the air. But due to the fact that he already lost his chance to hit the wolf he was required to dodge one more attack in the air and thus quickly retreat. The Black wolf understood that it would be hard to catch Parasite and due to this it ran in the direction of 3 brothers. Zhe Fa quickly got away from the trajectory of the Black Wolf, but the other 2 brothers still were standing on the same spot with fear in their eyes.

In such a situation Inner Student didn’t have any other choice, but to intervene. Parasite saw for the first time how Inner Disciple is fighting. Inner Disciple was also using something similar to “Wind Steps”. It allowed not only to dodge, but also for some time to float in the air. First of all Vu Rai appeared above the Wolf and 2 times throwed something similar to needles, but 2 times longer. Those needles were directed into the wolf eyes and when Wolf tried to dodge them those changed the direction as well. Parasite understood that Vu Rai used QI Subdual Realm energy to redirect needles. The Inner Disciple attack was half successful. One needle got into the Black wolf eye, while the other one was blocked by the claw. Black wolf lost his left eye and due to this Inner disciple quickly moved to the left side of the wolf and took out from nowhere a 2 metre spear and using that Vu Rai tried to stab wolf into the head, but at the last moment jump away from the place where it was increasing the distance between them. However, it seemed that Inner Disciple was ready for that and he quickly used one more time wind step which allowed him to stab the wolf in the stomach and pierce through the whole body of the wolf. Vu Rai didn’t try to take the spear out of the wolf's body, but instead he made a distance. And it was done on time while the wolf already tried to attack that place where Vu Rai was just a moment ago. Next Vu Rai one more time appeared above the wolf but this time he didn’t try to send needles. Instead he used a thread to hook a tip of the spear and then pulled it out from the wolf's body. Huge amount of blood poured out of the wolf's body. Due to this Black Wolf tried to escape in the woods. But when he began to run into another direction he fell because something was holding his 2 paws. Parasite understood that it was the same thread which Vu Rai had used just a moment ago. With it Vu Rai didn’t give a chance for a wolf to run away. And when the wolf fell Inner Disciple threw his spear directly into the wolf's neck. While the wolf didn’t have a chance to defend, the spear pierced its neck and, thus, Black Wolf died.
