Chapter 6: Little Prince / Tiny prince
A crash of plates woke Holly and Evan up
“Huh? What was that? A servant? You okay there? Holly, what’s with the look on your servants face?” Evan asked, sitting up, still half asleep
The servant ran as fast as she could out the door
“Oh. Evan, you’re probably going to be questioned by that idiot of a king.” Holly said, sighing
“Holly, he isn’t an idiot. He’s just overly protective.” Evan said
“I’m only the sister of his ancestors. He doesn’t need to be so worried about me. Even if you consider my religious significance, that protection is a bit stifling.” Holly said
“You’re a part of his family in his eyes. Family is important to almost everyone, right.” Evan said
“Are you okay with having a family?” Holly asked, smiling
“Of course. Why? Oh. That’s why. Ah!” Evan said
“Stop whining and help me with this. I can’t get the latch from where I am.” Holly said
“Dangit Holly. He’s going to bust in and see us doing this, you realize that, right.” Evan said
“Oh. I realize that quite well. But it’s a bit better than just any normal explanation. Plus, it’s nice.” Holly said, grinning
“Ho-Lady Saint!! I heard you have an intru-“ the king barged in on the two of them
Evan was trying to wake up completely, Holly was trying to stop, seeing the king actually barge in. She gave up.
“Ah….uh….y…..you said it…. was an intruder… this… I’m sorry, Ho..Lady Saint…. I’ll Uh… are you not going to stop? Um. We’ll just leave. This is Uh…. awkward. I did not want to see you like this…. I….” the king stuttered
“Just...get out!” Holly said, smiling uncontrollably
“That…. everybody leave, false alarm.” The king said, shutting the door behind him
“Holly, you could have at least stopped when he was in here.” Evan said, frowning
“I tried. I actually tried!” Holly said, collapsing
Evan got out of bed, Holly having exhausted herself back to sleep, and went to talk to the king
“Hey. Little prince. Oh. You were listening? Still as naughty as ever.” Evan said, sighing
“Who? You…. you look familiar. Wait, you were the one who was…. with.... who….. Holly! Is Holly okay?!” The king stuttered
“She’s fine. She exhausted herself and fell back asleep. She won’t wake up too soon. Even if she does, it would probably be a bit difficult to move.” Evan said
“That’s…. good?” The king asked
“Little prince, you did it with your wife, didn’t you? It’s normal. It’s how you make a family, after all.” Evan said, lecturing the king
“Stop calling me little prince! Who are you? And how do you know that nickname! Did Holly tell you?! Why are you here?!” The king asked, pointing
“Little prince, I was the one who gave you this nickname. Of course I know it. Did you really forget me?” Evan asked, wiping off some sweat
“Here. Use a towel at least… jeez. So….. you’re Holly’s husband? No, she’s never been married. For that matter, as far as I know, she’s never done that….” the king said, handing Evan a towel

“Oi. Little prince. Snap out of it. She’s older than your grandparents. Though I must admit-no. I can admire her later. For now I should set things straight.” Evan said
“You realize I’m the king, right? Why are you able to be so casual with me? To the point that you even dare use my nickname. I could lock you up with a snap of my fingers.” The king said threateningly
“You can’t lock me up.” Evan said
“Of course I can! I’m the king.” The king said
“I meant that you physically do not have the ability to keep me contained, let alone just restrained. If you did, I would probably blow the castle into the sky with one of your petty snaps. Locking me up? Stupid, stupid little prince. Can you not recognize your elders? You were such a brilliant little kid. Well, you still are as long as you aren’t shocked, I guess. Seriously though, little prince, I’m together with Holly. What’s that have to do with you? Did you want to watch more? I could ask Holly. I don’t think she minds. But I’m assuming that’s a no. We don’t have time for tha-that’s a face of disappointment. Little prince, what have you become.” Evan asked, shaking his head
“Hey! You’re the one who off- wait, no! Stop calling me little pri-wait, not that, either…..Uh…. ah! Who are you?!” The king asked
“I’m god. Nice to see you again, little prince.” Evan smiled
“Youwha? Waiholonimconfosedwhatsgoing on?” The king mumbled and blended his words together
“The…. Lady Saint…. and…. god…. are….. together?” The king asked
“Yup. It’s also not your business, little prince.” Evan said
“No wonder you knew that nickname. Indeed…. we don’t have the ability to contain you, either…” the king said, falling to his knees
“Forgive me. Truly. To someone such as you… after all you’ve done for us….I was so rude.” The king said, distraught
“Little prince, there are no issues here. All you did was walk in on me and Holly in the mi-oh. Little prince, your son is here.” Evan said
“Dad?!?! Dad! Are you okay?” The prince asked, running to his father
“I’m fine, son.” The king said
“Who is this… partially clothed 19 year old boy? Why are you bowing to him?” The prince asked
“Hey, darliiing! Come help me! It’s a bit tingly when I move!” Holly yelled
Evan froze
“Tiny prince, you heard nothing.” Evan said
“But… are you…? You’re the lady Saints husband?” The tiny prince asked
“Oh. I forgot that you weren’t childish like your father. But yes. Yes I am. Why do you ask?” Evan asked
“Wait, the lady Saint can't have a husband. Isn’t it said that she is to be married to god? If so, why would you be saying you are her husband?” The prince asked
“It’s because he is.” The king said
“Daaaarliiing!” Holly whined
Evan smiled
“Tiny prince, I’ll be back, ask your father what’s happening.” Evan said, going to help Holly
“Father? You said he is? What did you mean by that? He is what?” The prince asked

“God. That boy is god. If you look at the statues, you see that boy. It isn’t just a resemblance. His face is hanging in every church, on the painting above the altar.” The king said, pale faced
“Father, isn’t god a lie? Everything I read pointed to that.” The prince asked
“Huh? What the hell have you been reading, boy? The nickname I have is from god. Same with your nickname, tiny prince. And who else do you think can speak to me so casually? Even the other kings in the world wouldn’t dare to annoy me. So why would I let him do it, if he wasn't god?” The king asked, furious.
“Well, then. Um. I have a lot of questions that I do not want to ask right now.” The prince said, baffled
Evan poked his head out again real quickly
“Hey, would you guys mind bringing livvy over here, by the way?” Evan asked
The king froze
“Livvy?” He asked
“Yeah. Olivia.” Evan said
“Yes…….. of course. I’ll get her myself, if that’s what you want.” The king said, smiling
“Hm? Ah, right. Holly may or may not need some ice packs, too. It’s a tad too much stimulation for her. I’d appreciate it. Thanks.” Evan said, going back in and shutting the door
“I’ll… go get Olivia….not that I want to... Or do I. Hm. Is this a good thing? My son, if you had to choose between your sister's innocence or gods favor, what would you choose?” The king asked, contemplating life itself and overthinking things to the extreme
“Um. Probably gods favor? I don’t know what that first one means, exactly. Oh. Oh, wait. Umm… still, probably gods favor.” The prince said, crossing his arms in thought
“I see.” The king said, reaching Olivia's room
The king knocked on the door
“Olivia? Are you there?” The king asked
“Dad? Um, one second.” Olivia said, getting up to open the door
“Here, take these. The lady Saint wants to talk to you. gottagobyelivvy!” The king said, running off as fast as a bullet, after handing her a package.
“Huh? Hey, wait!.... Little brother, I’m not sure if you know, but would you mind explaining why my father handed me these?” Olivia asked, staring at the package, extremely confused
“Nope. Lady Saint wants you, gottagobyesis!” The prince said rushing off faster than his father
“What the? Why….. these? I’m so confused. Is… there something scary there? Or did dad mistake these with balloons? No... Well, I can’t exactly refuse.” Livvy said, going to Holly’s room
She knocked on the door, hearing a noise from inside and realizing what had probably happened.
She sighed, busting open the door with a kick
“Huh? Ah! Livvy! Ah, wait, why are you here so quick? Gimme a minute!” Evan said, fumbling around
“Not needed. Explain why dad gave me these.” Livvy asked, throwing the package at him
“I…. have no idea. Are these…. his? I feel kinda bad for him. But these wouldn’t fit me…” Evan said, pitying the king
“Yeah. I can see that. You mind covering up a little?” Livvy asked
“Huh? Ah!” Evan said pulling up the blanket, and putting on his clothes
“Jeez. I think I get it. You were banging Holly and my dad walked in, didn’t he? You had some sort of conversation and you asked him to bring me here, making him have a massive misunderstanding. Unless, however, it wasn’t a misunderstanding. In which case, I do agree. Those aren’t big enough.” Livvy said, grinning
Evan whimpered
“Livvy….stop...messing around…. with him.” Holly said
“Jeez, you’re literally shaking. Are you okay? You look a bit funny.” Livvy said
“Nope. Just happy.” Holly said, grinning like a fool
“Well, I could hear you from the hall. What is with you two... Anyway, what did you need me for?” Livvy asked
“Well… uh…. you know how weddings work, you’ve told me about them before. So I was wondering…. maybe you could help us get married?” Evan asked
“Evan, darling, I want it to be known by the whole world. There’s ones for the saint and royalty, right?” Holly asked
“Are you joking? You called me here for that?” Livvy asked
“Well, it’s not like you’re busy today. Besides, I have a few days before I get my power back. I can help serana then.” Evan said
“Huh? Serana? Nonononono! Evan, don’t get involved with that. Seriously.” Holly said, making a giant X with her arms
“Did you see something?” Evan asked
“Yes. If you leave it, it’s going to be better off. I was wondering why the future was flickering. Out of the two, your uninvolvement is much better in the end. For everybody.” Holly said
“I trust you. Livvy?” Evan asked
“It’s the saint. Of course I trust her.” Livvy said
“So…. we just leave her alone?” Evan asked, worried
“Darliiing! Don’t worry so much! Okay?” Holly said
“So upbeat. This is nice. I do feel bad, though.” Livvy said
“Same… hey, Livvy. I got an idea. Let’s trick your father.” Holly said, pointing at the package
“Sounds good to me.” Livvy said, grinning
“Are you guys sure?” Evan asked
“Yup. Livvy, just spit in them. Yeah. There.” Holly said
“All of them?” Livvy asked
“All of them. And throw them everywhere. Even in the hall.” Holly said, smirking
“This might teach that cheeky old man something.” Livvy said
“This is….a tad much.” Evan said, kind of creeped out
“You haven’t seen anything yet, Darling! Here!” Holly said, rumpling her clothes and Livvys clothes, as well as the hair
“Ack.” Livvy said
“Alright. Now take one with spit in it and dump it in your mouth when your dad walks in” Holly said
“Both swallow. Right? Hehehehehe. This is gonna be funny.” Livvy said with an evil smirk
“I’ll go get him before you two think up anything worse. Is it really that fun to make the king squirm with discomfort...” Evan said, sighing
