Desperate breathing filled the empty void of the room where Kayden laid, being all wired up on top of all his bruises covered by a ocean full of white wintery casts protecting him from no more damage. Kayden painfully looked at the figure that stood over him, it was Caden looking down on him the way Kayden never wanted it to be.
"Must be painful, huh?" Caden questioned.
"What do you want? Came to hurt me more? Oh! I heard about your relationship with Autumn, how sad~" Kayden groaned, mimicking a sad expression that was being covered by casting.
"There was never once a relationship or friendship between us two. She was just someone that easily clung to me with a fooled perception." Caden answered with a crispy voice.
"A perception you forced on her." Kayden somehow cackled out, but instantly stopped when he felt his muscle begin to sting painfully.
"Of course, if I went around being my true self everyone will just call me a monster. And that story oddly matches your past, ey?" Caden claimed, seeing the hidden smirk being wiped clean and being placed a frustrated sharp frown.
"S-Shut up!" Kayden snapped.
"Come on, murder~ Who are you going to kill now, murderer?~" Caden said in a nasty, bullying voice that angered Kayden even more.
"PISS OFF!" Kayden spat loudly, later on regretting raising his voice after he felt his bones create a feeling of about to snap any second.
"You're fast aren't you? Why not just heal yourself?" Caden asked, speaking in his normal ways again.
"Not sure, maybe your strong force reminded me who I was becoming..." Kayden mumbled, "Why are you this way? How did you even become this way?" Kayden suddenly asked.
"Who knows? Being a favoured subject of the Government causes you to become a dead person walking on thin ice." Caden answered, showing no hints of sadness.

"Have you ever experienced emotions?" Kayden questioned again.
"I used to..." Caden admitted.
"Tell me," Kayden demanded.
Caden looked at Kayden and then at the chair, he grabbed onto the chair and slid it next to Kyaden's bed. He sat on it comfortably with puzzled looking eyes.
-[11 Years Ago, 2140]
War jets roared across the firey sky filled with ominous, black suffocating smoke, blocking away the bright-lit moon. A small frightened boy hid in his abandoned, dying room where toys began to grow wrinkles from old age, his brown coconut hair covered his grey-blue eyes that were opened wide from the sounds of war interrupting his happy daily life.
The sound of the front door being slammed open shocked him, making him believe the baddies have barged into his house and were planning on kidnapping him.
"Sweetheart! I got you some chips!" A gentle strong female voice shouted from down the stairs, a smile formed across the small boy's face as he jumped up from the wooden floor and rushed down the stairs to meet an unfamiliar face.
A stressed rotten man in enemy uniform stood behind the boy's mum with lost blue eyes scanning the room until he met the boy's frightened eyes. The mum looked in the direction the soldier was looking and waved at the young boy like it was nothing out of the ordinary.
"Caden, meet the man who saved me!" Caden's mum greeted in a happy tone.
"H-Hello, my mum's saviour." Caden greeted in a weak voice, shivering to the core.
"Hello...boy, sorry for my sudden appearance. I know you're scared of me and I understand that." The enemy spoke in a heavy accent from somewhere Caden was never learnt from. He had a deep, husky voice and had a welcoming aura.

"Don't say that! Caden knows his people and he'll get along with you very well." Caden's mum chuckled playfully.
Months went by and the two slowly got used to each other, Caden taught the enemy how to speak in his way so no one would suspect him of an enemy. Caden's mum watched from far away until the two adults started getting affection towards each other, Caden didn't really think anything of this an thought this will just a month.
2 Years Later, 2042.
Even though the decade war caused billions of lives two years ago, everyone from enemy countries began to interact with each other slowly. To think Caden and his mum were the first ones to ever interact with an enemy just months after the war, would be a hot topic for them, Caden and the man began to hang out just like a family.
They went shopping, played in parks, walked home from long journeys, played hardcore battle games. It was an unfamiliar feeling Caden felt since he never had a father in his life. It wasn't due to divorces, it was due to the father having cancer and died, the last words he said o his wife was, "Stop crying and move on!". It was a very stressful month for Caden's mum after she heard the news while in the fifth year of the bloodshed war. The father went on to die three months after Caden's mum gave birth to Caden.
It was the day Caden was finally going say father to the man, a wish his mum wanted for so long, he hopped off his neat bed and walked down the stairs with an inspired look on his face, he walked into the kitchen where the man always hanged around to mess with the mum daily.
"Hello, boy" The man smiled, waving his gentle big hands at Caden.
"I want...to say something." Caden nervously spoke out.
"Hmm? You want to go hunting and steal my chicken?" The man playfully joked, scruffing Caden's hair straight afterwards.
"No, I want to say...I love you, fa-" As he said the words, the door slammed open, being followed by a group of armed men rushing their way into the hallways.
The man pushed Cadfen out of his way and struggled with a man before another one came in and stabbed him right in the stomach. Caden's mother ran down from the stairs screaming before she was tackled to the floor threatened by a long machete placed against her neck.
"Traitorous scums! Behead them and take that son away after he watched them die." AN old man demanded with a rough voice,
The armed soldiers struggled to force two of the people Caden dearly loved onto their shaken knees, a man grabbed hold of Caden and forced him to watch his loved ones be chopped at several times before their heads flopped to the floor under his frightening vision.
It was a day Caden felt something he lost, it was the capability to love.
