《A Hidden Secret(Cancelled)》3: Unlocked Doors and Mysteries

It was a very complicated time for Caden because he mostly spent most of his studies in Ms Pace's office, trying his very best to ignore the predatory glare he felt coming from the direction of where Ms Pace sat. Caden, having enough with the situation, perked his chin and looked Ms Pace directly in the eyes which jolted Ms Pace back a little.
Caden annoyingly placed the pen he held beside his sheet papers that had thousands of written words, he continued his glare while thinking of a way, or a reason Ms Pace became so interested in him.
"It's been a whole week now and the only thing I got from that test is no rankings, but a one-on-one where the principal of the school scowls at a student doing his work." Caden ridiculed in an angered tone.
"My apologies, but let's not go over the fact that as soon as the scanning started, the whole electricity in the room exploded and became a dangerous situation to the point firefighters were called in." Ms Pace snapped back, pushing her body over the desk to lean in Caden's circle, intruding his safety.
"Well, you should have sorted out the damn thing then," Caden replied, moving away from Ms Pace's face which was just one inch away from his face.
"I'll have my suspicions on you for now. We've sorted the ranking system out and you'll be placed in Red Level—have fun!~" Ms Pace cackled.
Irritated by the situation, Caden enters the classroom he began at, directed his eyes over to the Red Level Territory and began to make his way over to the spot, students who were concerned in Caden's behaviour, watched his every movement from shrugging past the other Red Black Level students to sitting in an unmarked chair located at the very back of the classroom where no wind touched.

In his annoyed mood, he glared back at the onlookers to find the Purple Level student was staring at him as well, the Purple Level student's eyes were so cold and distant, it made sense why people in the class were scared of her, Caden thought.
But being blinded by annoyance, Caden challenged the Purple Level Student to a staring contest, the staring contest went on for a while and it gained all of the onlooker's attention. The Purple Level Student started to feel uneasy when she paid more attention to Caden's glaring eyes, she spotted something in them that made her shiver a little, the thing she caught was that the emotions Caden portrayed did not match his glaring eyes. It was like a mask for entertaining purposes, a mask hiding something deeper underneath.
"That low life scum is testing Autumn?" Voices inside crowds muttered, making it clear that they wanted Caden to hear what they were saying.
"Autumn is your name, huh?" Caden silently spoke with no sounds of whisper escaping his mouth, more like he was forming the words because he knew Autumn would read it in an instant.
"Yes, that's my name. You know what you're doing will create a problem, right? Autumn replied in the forming of her sentence.
Caden, reading the words, glanced around the room knowing and feeling it was all one-sided, he knew he was alone since he was the new student in this classroom, so Caden made a decision and placed his eyes on the paper laid across his table and began writing work down onto the sheets.
After the class period ended, Caden was in a relaxed state minding his own business when an approaching figure stood beside the left side of the table he studied at, they seemed to be wearing gym clothes since shorts were seen instead of trousers. Their legs were ripped with muscles, every muscle in the leg had all the details of hard work placed upwards and downwards of the athletic legs.

"Pity shithead, are you that annoyed about being in a lower-ranked position to glare at the best student in our class?" The aggressive boy snickered, slamming his hand onto Caden's table, aggressively denting a hole into the carved wood. Caden gave the aggressive boy what he wanted and made eye contact with the student.
The athletic boy had a flat, brunette mohawk tied into a man bun, stood the same height as Caden and had a fiery aura in his dark brown eyes. The clothes he wore weren't bigger enough for him as it looked like they looked sorely tight around his bodybuilder sculpture and were about to rip any time or sooner.
"Something like that." Caden calmly responded.
It seemed like the reply Caden gave didn't go well with the athletic boy because his bulky hands zipped away from his flexible figure and were seen gripping strongly around Caden's collar.
"Look, you piece of shit! You should by now know that you shouldn't mess with a male named Ian, that person is me you fucking prick!" Ian roared in the face of Caden's presence.
"O-Ok! Jesus, learn to have fun man!" Caden stuttered in trembling fear, desperately closing his eyes as he didn't think about struggling to fight off Ian's strong grip.
Feeling even more riled up, Ian landed an astounding powerful punch at Caden, the punch Caden endured played the ringing bells of death throughout Caden's ears, his vision faded into a blurry situation as the sounds around him muted into dead silence. Fresh red blood scattered onto the near-wall Caden rested on, marking Caden another victim of bullying as his blood connected to the other Red Level Students' blood that gushed onto the salmon shade wall.
While Caden was getting repeatedly punched across the face, making it a messy sight, he noticed teachers were outside of the classroom staring at what was happening and didn't move an inch. They stood calmly and had a grin booming out of their devilish faces.
Ian eventually dropped Caden's body and watched it crumble into the floor still having consciousness intact, even though he used all his strength to mess up Caden's gory face, Caden was still groaning in pain and moving inch by inch, it was a sight of a bullied victim swimming in his pool of blood.
"You're still awake?!" Ian shouted in shock, he felt vulnerable and exhausted, his intention to destroy a person fell off the cliff he built by his own bloody hands, the man-made cliff started seeing holes slowly crack away the top Ian stood on, slightly tilting the mountain forwards into corruption. Meaning his reputation was stabbed at, ruining it largely but not enough to ruin his whole life.
A lesson was taught to the Purple Level Student, she knew something was off when she saw Caden being bored with the punches Ian threw, he was always looking away from the situation with motionless eyes, where not even tears dripped down his ripped up face. This unlocked something she never thought she would experience in her life, she opened the possibility to feel fear and feel interested in a person she doesn't know the identity of.
She finally found the answer she wanted, a person blunt enough to unlock all the emotions she wanted to feel in her lifetime.

I Became a [Biologist] in a Fantasy World!
I loved Biology - always have, and always will. Unfortunately for me, years of fruitless research whittled away what little joy I had left in what I did. Escapism came in the form of reading isekai works, where the stresses of real life seemed so far away.Luckily, I was summoned to a fantasy world of magic, dragons, and other mythical beasts. I didn't even need to deal with the Demon Lord threat, since it seemed that my summoning was a mistake, and all they needed was the Hero who was coincidentally summoned together with me! There was no revenge subplot, no hidden trap directed against me, and they even paid me compensation for their mistake. At long last, I could finally do what I ever wanted to do - experiment for the fun of it!With my new class as a [Biologist], none of this fantasy world's mysteries will be left untouched. Even if the Demon Lord himself comes knocking, nothing will stop me from researching every nook and cranny there is to discover of the magical biology of this world! ----I write extremely casually, and purely for leisure. Updates will likely be irregular, depending on when inspiration strikes and whether I can spare the time to work on this. Don't expect too much out of this, and certainly not anything close to professional quality! Inspired by an overconsumption of Japanese light novels, manga, and anime... expect their influence to slowly but surely take hold.

8 189The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
