《A Hidden Secret(Cancelled)》2: Unpredictable Outcomes

It was a peaceful time in the school, there were ups and downs, which meant there were a couple of bullies seen on sight bullying the weak like always, but the situations were solved instantly. Caden saw these actions happen right in front of his eyes but he was mostly focused on his work to interfere with something he didn't want participation in.
Some students in the class he studied in were tortured with the looks of hatred since they were the lowest of all the rankings, the ranked red level students were a destroyed sight to see as they became slaves to the higher-up while they were the other slaves for the bigger, influential higher-ups.
Caden wasn't in a category since he wasn't labelled to a ranking yet, so most of the bullies left him alone in his own world of imagination. He enjoyed this peace and did make a lot of friends on his first day of school. The reason why Caden wasn't sent to the scanning area before coming to school was that the students can have three days away with the Freedom of Scans before having themselves scanned the next day after the third day.
As the class made loud noises very quickly, it faded away very quickly into the abyss of silence the soon as a female student wearing her ginger straight hair into a ponytail leaving her fringe out to match with her venomous green, predator cold eyes, which complemented its outcasting looks with the pale ghostly skin she wore over her shifting skeleton bones. She stood 5'4 feet tall and wore a purple tape around her skinny wrists, making her the top student of the class.
Under the unpleasant whispers of chatters involving the female who silenced them all, an unpleasant sound of buzzing erupted from the corner of Caden's left eye, it got his curiosity so he turned his head around to face a small black cube hanging down from the corner wall, vibrating maliciously.
"Caden Dahil, please come to the office." A softening female voice rehearsed through the cube, setting off a loud eerie sound that scratched the in-depth of all the student's eardrums.

Being caught in the glaring gazes, Caden gradually stood up from his chair, following it with an escape of the wilderness class to make his way down the long hallways filled with educational classes, then Caden walked down a couple of stairs and turned directly left of his standing position facing a not so welcoming hallway of gloom from using the map he was given.
He dug his hands deep down into his trouser pockets and began his wandering through the lonely, bland hallway that had nothing but walls of rich silver pushing around the hallway corners until a glimpse of blinding light appeared on the reflected floors. The light escaped under the wooden door connected to a wall of a dead-end situation, windows weren't seen built on the silvery walls, making it harder for Caden to know what he's up to.
"No point in staring at the door, come inside." That softening female voice broke away the unending silence, it came from a well-suited lady who had a glamorous body type, she wore all black alongside her purple hair that waved downwards onto her stern shoulders. Her eyes glimmered the ocean waves of baby blue, standing in a 5'6 feet tall mannered posture.
Once both of their eyes locked with each other, the strong aura of the woman froze Caden in his standing location, before she spoke she placed both of her hands on her hips to show overwhelming dominance.
"Nice to meet you, I'm the principal of this school, Ms Pace." She introduced herself with a sharp smile formed across her smooth skin.
"Nice to meet you too, ma'am." Caden nervously responded while he continuously fiddled with the insides of his pocket which Ms Pace discovered when her eyes dashed slowly over to the weird movements coming from inside Caden's pockets.
"No need to be nervous—and please, don't call me ma'am, Ms Pace is fine." Ms Pace said, revealing a warm pure smile.
Finishing the awkward one-sided introduction, Caden followed Ms Pace into the isolated office, the smell of flowers flooded his nose when the door was opened, allowing him to walk in and see plenty of bookshelves surrounding the small desk place. He felt comfortable walking across the ugly brown carpet that spread all around the room.

Amazed on the appearance, it took a while before Caden was snapped back into reality from the sound of a hand slamming on the desk that was pressed against the silvery wall, this shocked Caden and immediately grabbed his attention towards where the sound came from. Ms Pace was sitting in her black, leather chair, ripping away the path for Caden to reach her closer, she sat with her arms tucked into her laps in a greeting way.
"Now let's get the reason why I called you here." Ms Pace announced.
"Yes, it was one of the questions I wanted to be answered respectively," Caden acknowledged in the meanwhile of sitting in the chair at the opposite side of where Ms Pace sat.
"As you know, or not know, students are given three days of getting used to the school before they get tested on what ranking they will be placed in." Ms Pace, with collected relaxed emotions, explained fluently.
"Rankings? Is that the coloured tapes around students' wrists I've seen wear in my classroom?" Caden asked, confused.
"That's correct. Rankings are based on colours, Red is the lowest and Purple is the highest, Orange is the second-lowest with Yellow following behind being the third-lowest. The third highest is Green, Blue comes second on the highest ranking. Do you understand now?" Ms Pace illustrated.
"In a way, yes." Caden quietly answered in the middle of glancing around the enormous room.
"Now, follow me." Ms Pace insisted as she got off her chair and walked over to a hidden door in the middle of two bookshelves. Caden obediently followed the principal into the hidden doorway to find an empty white room that looked like the path of meeting God in his bright, blinding heaven.
It was a massive sight, bigger enough to fit four classrooms inside, there were squares spotted all around the white floors expanding onto the camouflaged walls.
But something stood out from all of it, there stood a grey four feet stand that had a screen built into the middle of its squared balcony, Ms Pace walked forwards into the endless sighting room until she reached the stand where she held a tablet in her moving arms.
Caden gradually walked over to the stand, seeing the clear intentions of why a stand jetted out the floor in the very middle of this angelic room, it was there for the students to scan their ranks by placing their hands onto the calculated, drawn handprint that glowed from out of the reflective screen.
"Please place your hand inside the handprint." Ms Pace politely requested.
Caden nodded and placed his right hand perfectly inside of the handprint territory, then the word, "Scanning…" popped up above Caden's fingers in a green bold character.
"Just wait-" Ms Pace was interrupted by the sounds of a violent crackle uncontrollably escape the stand which then followed another crackle of glossy electricity fleeing from the insides of the tablet she held, resulting in her dropping the flammable tablet before it started structuring dangerous levels of fire.
All the lights in the room proceeded to shake, exploding viscously with no answer of explanation, this made a strong woman like Ms Pace to collapse onto the floor roughly under the influence of shaking trembles of anxiety. Her eyes watered the screams of fear while Caden stood in the exact position and posture he did when placing his hand on the scan.
"That's bothersome." Caden coldly spoke in a motionless, emotionless tone.
"This isn't the outcome I wanted."

UPDATES TUES/THURS after chapter 5 Cover art by Tumblr User: @pigeon-princess This book features characters that are related to in many ways to my other novel "Grimoire". While both stories are their own stand alone series, Sun God's Corruption will add a good amount of depth to Grimoire, and Grimoire shows the unfoldings of the world that will eventually come from the events in Sun God's Corruption. I reccomend reading them both interchangably.
