《Gary the Mimic》Ch.6 Adventure

I wake up and try to stretch but hit my head on the tree. Now in a more grumpy mood I decide to dig. After a while I made the room more spacious just enough to stretch. It feels nice to stretch but the work was hard considering I only have legs. Now on to today, my goal is to find new food and explore. One for taste, two because I'm sick of the metal flavor.
The first place I wanted to search was the waterfall although it could barely be considered a waterfall. The sight though was still amazing. I carried on exploring the forested area taking extra care to avoid bigger monsters like the wolves. I looked at a lot of nooks and crannies. Soon I found berries. Maybe they'll taste good… maybe not they could be poisonous. I continue to explore but I haven't found any new food that's edible unless I want to get poisoned or get into a battle. I could try but I don't really have any skills to help in a fight besides trance. I continue to explore until a thought crosses my mind. What if I can find an injured monster.
"Why am I such an idiot?."
"Try checking the intelligence and wisdom stat."
Ignoring Ali's comment I get going to the water and watch for monsters that are weaker or bleeding. It didn't take long for me to find one. It's a wolf with some bad injuries. I wait for a little while and start to sneak up. Using trance to calm it to help me sneak up. Slowly… slowly… and gotcha. I aim for the back legs to reduce it's mobility and the battle begins.
Hitting my first strike piercing through a leg my plan is going well. As soon as I hit the wolf it tries to turn while baring its fangs but loses its balance near instantly from a rock. I take this lucky chance and finish it off with a clean shot.

Not wanting to waste a second I started to make the meal bite size. After a while I got the legs to a size I can eat but before I could start on anymore wolves started to appear. I quickly ate the legs and ran off before they could find me. I ran through foliage and trees until my mana ran out. *Huff* I think I ran far enough, now to check that menu.

"Why is there a skill with the level up?"
I poke the skill and a menu pops up. The menu has a scroll bar and is full of skills. It also has skill evolution written at the top. Hypnosis, copper words, mind invade.
Some of these skills look like a five year old had named it.
I look through the menu wanting something to help my current or later situation. My eye adventchully falls on primitive mind magic. The description says it can take five years to learn and takes away most of the system in the mind magic area. My instinct tells me to pick it but that time to learn is insane. Yes or no… eh sure although it will take a long time to learn it could be useful and none of the other skills look useful. I click on it and accept this as my choice. All of a sudden my mind is filled with information.
*Ow* My head hurts and it isn't going away this time. When I finally regain enough of my mind to think a menu appears.

The more I look at it the more it seems overpowered. Might as well try it out. I focus my mind on the word trance and how it felt like a string but nothing happens. Trying harder thinking of every detail I could think of but still nothing. Getting annoyed with the growing headache the longer I tried I decided to give up and go to sleep until my headache goes away.
