《Gary the Mimic》Ch.5 Stay hidden

Yes! I finally leveled up, sadly the only big change was my mp from 10 to 30 but that lets me get eyes not for very long. Still I will be able to see and I want to know my surroundings. My mana gets halfed in an instant but my eyes are made. I open them slowly.
"Ow bright!"
After a moment I open my eyes, ignoring the pain the best I can. The sight is amazing. The water I walked in has a slight glow and I see crystals of many colors covering the walls, even the slimes that roam are pretty. I also see many different monsters, one of them is a dog but with a lot bigger claws, maybe a new food. So far the only negative is the mana usage and how far I can see. I can barely make out six humans in the background. A human?! What if they find me, one of them is already looking at me. I dissipate my eyes and I hope. I feel my mouth open by force then I feel a blow to my front knocking me over and a small dent is in my body.
"Ouch."
My hp dropped by three points. I'm gonna have to keep an eye out so I can eat undetected. I can't imagine what they would do to me. I peek an eye out to see if they have left yet. They seem to be making a set up. How long do they plan to be here? Hopefully not long.
I've waited a while and so far it doesn't seem like they're planning to leave for a long time. But I did get a pattern of how they go about the day. One is always a look out watching and making sure no monsters go near them. Three go out to explore and hunt. The other two stay back and take care of chores. So if I want to move it would have to be when the three are gone. I also need to move soon because the lookout keeps checking on me this slows my day down a lot. Now to see what's going on. The one in white robes is complaining to the lookout. The warrior and mage are getting ready to go. The other one is preparing wood and food. Where's the last one?

I look around frantically until I hear a voice.
"To think what we've been looking for is right here."
I wouldn't normally run. In fact I hate running but I have a horrible feeling if I stay and the pressure I feel is insane. I quickly generate my legs and start to Sprint and sprint and sprint my legs feel like they're about to fall off. After about ten minutes of running I stop. Gosh that was torture but that feeling of dred is gone. My mp is at 1. *sigh* I hate not having vision. I hope I don't meet them again, most of all the person that found me.
I disapated my added body parts and waited for my mana to recharge while thinking of foods I enjoyed. Let's take a look around. This part has a waterfall and opens up a lot more. How big is this place? Not wanting to get found again I start looking for a hiding. The last thing I want is to be found by them again. Soon I settled below the root of a tree, a nice and cozy spot. I start my relaxing pattern of hunting.
Pov change : adventurer Alisa
"*huff huff* How can it be so fast? It looked so small."
I take a few moments to catch my breath
"HEY WHAT YOU FIND!"
So loud.
"I think I know the monster we're after!"
I rush over to tell them the good news but after I say what it looks like and how fast it ran they all look at me as if I'm insane.
"Hey, are you sure you're alright? We might need to take a few days out of the cave."
The scout gives a good point if I wasn't used to adventuring in caves.

"I'm being serious, it was a little chest monster and my dark aura didn't fully work."
The more I try to defend myself the more their faces become worried. Not just out of my sanity which is fine but being able to resist an aura means it's close to human intelligence.
The giant knight finally perks up.
"If that's true then this dungeon may pose a bigger danger than what we first thought."
"Thank you at least someone achilly believes m-"
"I don't believe you just yet but we should be cautious."
Knowing I won't win this I give up.
"Fine, I'll take a break."
They all take a sigh of relief at the same time. Inreturn I roll my eyes and go into my tent. I check my equipment for scratches and dents.
"Hey I'm sorry for barging."
*eep*
I stumble with my wand for a second then turn around and see it's the priest Eliz.
"You alright, maybe you are coming down with something."
A wide smile is plastered on her face.
"Why don't you talk to them if you're just going to tease me."
"Because they're rockheads with almost no brain."
"*heh* You do have a point there."
I try to catch myself but it's too late.
"Don't worry I already cast a silent spell although I didn't study much in that area."
Although It's fun to talk, I still want to be left alone mainly because no one believed me.
"I know I'm cutting the conversation short but I should really get some sleep *yawn*."
A lie but it should get her out of here.
"*Hmm* Okay make sure you sleep though and not mess too much with your weapon."
She gives me a wink before exiting.
"...I guess I should get to bed now."
