The body was later sent to the department of research and development. Research on body continued as they stood outside the lab. The scientists who were in the research lab started the research on the body.

Jack was being given some medical treatment for the wounds on his shoulder. Jack started thinking about the cause of the incident talking place.

Roy said while being restless “It has started to become a pain ever since these incidents started”. Solomon sighed after hearing Roy and said “You should take it easy now”.

“Jack; Jack are you here” called out Rick only to find him being spaced out. Jack answer after some time “Sorry I was spacing out”. Jack was thinking about how the zombies came into existence and what might have been reason for them to exist. “It’s fine but how is your shoulder doing” asked Rick. “It is not bad so you don’t need to worry about me” said Jack holding his hand. The hand was already a handicap for him but still he never wanted to give up on the investigation.

Jack never wanted to disappoint anyone so he said “Let’s continue with the case here. The one that attacked me is a person who was dead a long back. Till now there was no sign of something like this to happen but it is kind of weird that these started to exist”. As soon as he said that Solomon replied “It seems that trying to eliminate these is our only option” but Roy said “Eliminating won’t do any good as we do not know where do they come from”.

“That is exactly right. Roy has a point here. Unless we eliminate the source of this happenings we don’t stand a chance against them” replied Jack while holding his hand. “To do that we got to wait till the report of the research is out” said Cezar. “You are right” said Jack and everyone sat in a place for the report to come out.

Meanwhile in the research department the scientist experimenting on it took a small piece of the body and placed it in the microscope and looked at it. As soon as he saw the specimen he saw a liquid in it but in some split second it vanished. “This is some weird solution here” said the examiner. The examiner called his assistant and said “We can’t extract single piece of the specimen so scan the complete body at once”. “Yes sir” by saying so he went and put the complete body for the scan in a machine.

The body was being scanned while the results were being displayed on the screen. Everything looked normal till a time when the report started showing something unusual the assistant and the researcher were shocked. The assistant said in a worried expression “S-Sir this is…”
