《The World No One Knew About》The Dimension

All were sleeping in the building at night in a building but Simon woke up in the middle of the night and went downstairs and saw a person walking out. The person’s movements were unsteady so he thought that the person might have been drunk so he soon opened the door and started walking towards him.
He called the person “Excuse me”. Soon the person walking turned towards him and started coming towards him to kill him. Simon soon realized that it was not a human. The way it approached him, it looked like it was walking dead. Simon saw that and entered the building after realizing that it was a zombie and later he went back to bed but could not sleep all night.
It was a cold winter night and it was when Simon was young. He usually used to hang around with his friends but on a certain day he was walking home after playing with his friend and when he was returning back, he ran ahead of his friend while saying “If you can catch me then try to”. The boy started following him but Simon ran too fast that he lost him behind. After running for long he stopped. He was waiting for his friend to return but, he never came back so he thought he went home and after thinking that returned home. Next day he got news saying he had not yet returned so this made it more complicated for Simon. The reason for his disappearance was never known to anyone.
Simon suddenly woke up and he realized that he was having a dream.
At around the same time everyone woke up and they realized that they were stuck in some weird place so they all refreshed and went out in search for a way out but could find none. Carlson said “I guess this is a infinite loop so we have to make sure to find some clues in here that would let us out from here”. “I guess you are right but, somethings not right here” said Simon even though he never mentioned about the zombie he saw the previous night.

Carlson thought for a while and said to them “I want all of you to go and look in each and every building around the area for something or the other that might be useful to us. “I guess we all head in different directions and meet here after half and hour” suggested Simon. They all agreed with him and left in four different directions
Carlson went out to look for some clues on what the place was. But as he walked for a longer time he returned to the same place he started. So he got a rough idea on how much was the maximum distance they could travel.
While Millet went to see whether they could get some food. She was surprised by the fact that even though there were no people there was plenty of food for them. All the facilities they required were in that area.
Joe went around looking for some people but could find none except for the fact that there were some corpse of the dead. He soon realized that the people entered here never returned out.
Simon was sure about the fact that he saw a zombie so he first went looking around for ammunition. He found a lot of different types of weapons they could use.
It was around time for them to return so they all came back to the place where they started.

Alive?
In the ruins of a once glorious city, a mage awakens. As the sole survivor(?) of the cataclysm that destroyed his entire species, he’s forced to adapt. While learning the intricacies of his new body, he must first carve out a place for himself in a familiar yet foreign world before he can set out to reclaim his heritage. I cannot stress this enough: the character is not human, do not expect him to react like one. I know the hand on the cover only has five finger, but I doubt I am going to find a royalty free radiography with two perfectly functional thumbs placed in a sensible way anytime soon. The rewrite is finished. Beta readers are welcomed and I am still wondering whether I should put the sci-fi tag or not.

Forced to flee or be instructed towards his death, Josef must learn to live and survive in the strange and wondrous world known as The Lush Heap. Along the way, he’ll meet a stupendous cast of heroes, quasi-heroes, and nomadic woebegones, each angling to discern the secrets of The Gentle Void. He’ll uncover magical sects and pathways, kingdoms visible and invisible, and the strange powers brought by the conjoined worlds. For fans of fantasy with a light touch the bizarre and a good helping of world-building.

Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.
