He stands and watches.
As it all wound down.
He could help but he won’t.
None of this had to happen.
He could stop it from happening.
But it more entertaining this way anyway.
Fate had said it had to happen and she's annoyingly stubborn.
But he could change her mind if he could be bothered.
But it's better this way anyway.
Everyone in the universe will be seeing him soon.
Not that they wouldn’t anyway.
This way they will only meet him faster.
All things meet him at the end.
Even the gods will meet him when it ends.
All but the others like him, the primordials but even then they aren't safe.
They will watch on as all life burns and this reality ends.
The gods had a good run but it’s all for nothing in the end.
It was quite a short reality only two trillion years old.
The creator will make another as it always does.
Fate will still dictate what things do as she always does.
Chaos will go about spicing things and being just weird.
And then there him, death, the one constant in every reality.
He's one of the strongest primordials.
He will meet all mortals and immortals, and most of the primordials if they so choose.
Then he will be alone until he gets bored.
Then he’ll make new primordials and it will all repeat.
The cycle of creation and destruction.
