Once upon a time in a magical kingdom separated from the human world, lived a lovely Family of four. Mother, father, a son and a daughter.
Everything was very simple and went really well, simple life, simple problems, simple rules.
Even the use of magic in many things couldn't make it more interesting.
"I'm bored..."The younger son Cody lied down on the bed of his room letting out a sigh of frustration, unlike other kids who like life as it was he was always adventurous and looked for something new "what do you wanna do ?"he looked at his sister Rose.
Rose stared at her back and gulped looking at him with her ink black eyes "I don't know...But I will cause every time we do something you want we get in troubles" Rose was a really peaceful and gentle girl, she liked books, plants in addition to going on adventures with her brother even though she wouldn't admit it.
He moved his golden hair giving her a small smirk "aww but you always liked our adventures"
Rose looked down as her white hair covered her eyes "yes but I said it before troubles ! Like the time we almost burnt the city ! Or the time I got covered in ink.."
He sat down and looked at her with his golden eyes "I got an idea...How about the wall"
"That's it ! You lost it !"Rose closed her book and stood up, it was forbidden to go to the wall, a legend said that if you touch it or stay there for long a dangerous enemy will return.
"Rose I'm serious !"Cody crossed his arms.
"Cody you know the legend.." Rose hugged herself frowning a little "I'm afraid...Maybe it's true and we'll get people in danger.
"Don't worry I can defeat it !"Cody grinned.

"We still don't know what the golden power does, all you did was shot small balls of energy I don't think that's enough.."She mumbled. The golden energy was also a legend, the owner of such power is really strong and can copy others' powers or even enhance them also many other secrets still unknown. Rose had the power of healing, not as unique as Cody but her healing was really strong it can heal humans, animals and even plants perfectly. she could heal every thing but death
"But Rose don't you have the curiosity? What's behind the wall ? Why are we forbidden to go near it ? Maybe...I don't know...But I think we should go...I have a feeling we must go"He took a deep breath "I'm going with or without you" he left.
"Thanks for coming with me Rose !"Cody smiled at his sister who was walking with him.
"I'm just following so you won't get in troubles"she mumbled.
They reached and looked at the huge metallic wall, it was completely black and seemed endless from any way.
"No way through ?" Cody frowned and searched for a door or anything.
His sister sighed in relief "well play as much as you can I'll just continue reading"she sat down on a rock and a portal opened at the door sucking her in "CODY !"she screamed in fear.
"Rose !" Cody quickly jumped after her without another thought but saving her, he was surrounded by darkness "R-rose ?" He looked around and started hearing slow heartbeats "Rose ? Where are you ?" He walked slowly through the darkness then dropped in the human world moments of silence latter.
Rose was sitting on top of a green hill looking up at the sky hands on the green grass.
"Where...Are we ?"the boy curiously looked around.

"You were right Cody...This place IS beautiful.."Rose gave him a soft happy smile.
"You're welcome sis.."he sat down next to her.
"I wonder if there's any creatures are they nice ?"Rose started wondering.
"Hey hey not so soon sis !" Cody quickly said, besides getting her in troubles Rose was never hurt Cody took the damage most of times, he was really protective and caring even if he denies it.
Rose giggled "hey how did you turn coward all of a sudden ?"she said teasingly.
"I'm not ! It's just...You might get hurt.." Cody mumbled.
"Awww do you care about me" she smirked and poked his cheek.
He puffed his cheeks and nodded "yes...No !" He shook his head and looked at the trees.
They spent hours exploring the area, they found some stuff familiar like tress and some animals but other things were new to them, after that they searched for the way back and marked it so they won't forget next time.
"You two look really happy" their face eyed them suspiciously as they were all having a nice family dinner.
"Nothing !"they both said at the same time and ate quickly.
"Don't be like this John what harm can they possibly do ? And even if they do we'll know immediately, news go around fast here"their mother said and sat down next to him eating.
After that day, that hill became their special secret place, when they were bored they always went there and explored, a new world has been opened for these two.
"The wall was weakened..The legend..Is true you fools"somewhere... Someone said smirking letting out an evil laugh and went out of his prison...

The Good Crash: An Oral History of the Post-Scarcity Collapse
"Don't we all feel, deep down, that we deserve the apocalypse?" APRIL, 2028—Global capitalism has collapsed. America has sealed itself off from the outside world, and inside its borders, a revolution rages. All it took was one incredible little machine. That machine turned into two, then four, then eight... like a virus, the replicators spread. As a work of oral history, The Good Crash features over 50 interviews with key witnesses to the events of 2027. The text is rendered in the words used by the interviewees themselves, with light editing for clarity and concision. As such, the book contains language and themes that are not appropriate for children.By capturing the voices to the people at the very root of the revolution, journalist and historian R. Vondersnitch has traced the origins and aftermath of the replicators' rapid spread. Crucially, the book also includes perspectives and testimony from those who attempted to stop the spread of the reps. "Some of these are heroes, too, in their own ways," the author writes in the book's introductory note.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.

The Errant Otherworlder Watanabe
“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and trucks whom transport men to other worlds.” Meet our titular protagonist Haruto Watanabe, a man who has all the markings of a good protagonist for a generic portal fantasy story. As an overworked office worker, to escape from the grips of crippling capitalist alienation, he had taken up to reading many stories where young men like him were transported to other worlds and enjoyed their lives at a most leisurely pace. Armed with genre-awareness and (what he believes to be) a marketable personality which would make him an easy audience self-insert, he longed for the day the isekai express would take him to his long-awaited adventure to another world. When the fateful day came, where the fair yet harsh mistress that is the fabled truck took Watanabe on one last date to the other side, he was most ready to escape his previous life, ready to embark on an errant so great he’d be most overpowered, his heroics so exceptional and his harem so vast that they would barely fit ten or twenty volumes of an overly long novel made by a desperate author looking for quick cash. Lo and behold however, Watanabe instead found himself in a low fantasy world which lacked severely in the department of any game-like systems, cheat skills or easily charmed damsels in distress. In a setting so antithetical to his established genre savviness or any attempts at power fantasy, how will a man like Watanabe, lacking in strength, wits and courage, manage to survive in a land most foreign to him? This is my first time trying to share to the wider world what I’ve written, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading the errantry of Watanabe as much as I enjoy writing about them. I'll be posting one chapter per week on Sundays, along with extra chapters whenever I get the chance to write more than usual.
