Jack was training in the arena, petal looked at him with a bored expression, his oval eyes which were rather black dots stared deep into his soul as his mouth was just a straight line going horizontally.

"Could you stop staring it's making me uneasy !" Jack growled missing one of the shooting targets.

"I'm just bored...You're boring ! Entertain me !" Petal said and clapped his hand closing his eyes.

"Did you for-"

"What do you think about Jade ?"Petal interrupted

"Wh- I think she's an uhh...I don't know much about her she's alright I guess" Jack looked at him seeming irritated by that question.

"I think you loooooove her" petal chuckled.

"N-no way ! " Jack blushed slightly.

"Yeeeessss you do" Petal grinned.

"I wouldn't even if she was the last woman on earth !" Jack snapped out of embarrassment.

Petal just grinned staring at Jack.

"Grinning......"Jack gulped "she's behind me right ?"

"Yep.."Petal said waiting for someone to be punched.

Jack turned around to see Jade, her face was red of embarrassment and anger.

"I wouldn't date you too even if my life depends on it !" She huffed and walked away.

"That went alright..."Jack mumbled.

Jade came back and punched him but Jack dodged.

She she keeps trying to punch him but he kept dodging D teleported in and held them away from each other "stop it ! Sis I already told you stay away from this guy !" D huffed and dragged his sister out of the room .

Jack scratched the back of his head "I'm going to avenge that..."he glared at Petal who was laughing .

"Humans are funny !"Petal laughed, kept laughing till he almost cried.

"That wasn't funny you weed !"Jack growled grabbing Petal from the stem.

"At least you didn't get killed !"Petal smiled.

Thunder walked in "Hey there ! What's this weird plant ?!" He asked staring at petal.

"You spit while you speak..." Petal commented rudely.

"This is my pet... Petal"Jack said wanting thunder to kill Petal but he knew he'll die too.

"Well isn't this a mean flower, control it or else Someone will turn it to salad" Thunder grumbled.

"Umm Thunder I got a question...Who runs this Arena ?"

"Oh it's umm... Someone I don't really know, never he was seen by anyone and the ones who were able to died..."Thunder said unsure himself.

"Ok..Thanks anyway.."Jack picked up Petal's pot "hey where can I watch the fight of Someone ?"

"Oh there's some doors you can en- wait who invited you" Thunder smirked and got closer to his Jack.

"Jade..."Jack moved a step away Blushing slightly.

Thunder laughed and pat his back as always in a rough way "I knew it !"

"What...?"Jack gulped raising an eye brow.

"Nothing and follow me I'll show ya"he walked away trying not to laugh.

Jack followed him, moments later they were in front of three doors with a glowing sign above each showing 'A' in blue, 'B' in red and 'C' in yellow.

"This is it Jade's battle is in B"Thunder pointed at the door in the middle, almost half the people in the room were heading to watch Jade's battle.

"Why is there so much people ?"Jack asked.

"Well Jade is almost as famous as me it's normal for her having so much spectators" Thunder shrugged and then .... "WHAT IS THIS MESS HERE ?! SPLIT INTO TWO GROUPS AND ENTER LIKE CIVILIZED HUMANS !" He roared loudly as the people quickly organised themselves and entered the door calmly.

Petal blinked slowly and shook his head Jack slowly walked into one of the lines and waited, five minutes and Everyone took a seat and waited for the battle to start.

A blue glowing circle appeared on the ground and Jade was teleported in it.

"So this what happens"Jack mumbled and looked at the other side, two circles were there and two fighters appeared.

"Two ? Pfft there's no way she can win" Petal scoffed.

Minutes later Jade beat the two opponents and smiled raising her arm in victory.

Petal's jaw dropped as Jack smirked and pat his head "what do you think now ?"

Everyone started leaving Jack waits sometime then leaves too.

D was next to Jade talking.

"Oh hey...Jack.."Jade looked away and crossed her arms.

"Man she's angry at you" Petal said.

"I can see that.."Jack grumbled.

"Nah it's alright, it actually encouraged me ! Every time I punch someone I imagine your face" Jade said coldly.

"Ouch.." Jack sighed and walked away.

A few weeks passed and Jack was getting stronger and more capable of fighting, he ranked up really fast and Became with Jade,D and thunder.

One day

Jack was sitting at a bench in the park.

"This isn't what I expected" Petal's head peaked out of Jack's pocket.

"Go back there weed you're lucky I agreed on getting you here"

D sat next to him "hey.."

"Umm...Hey ?"Jack moved a bit further from him.

"I need to ask you a favor...Jade...She broke her arm...And lost two times in a row"D said expressing a feeling for the first time, it was sadness and caring.

"Isn't she supposed to take a break ?" Jack asked.

"Nope...Not at all..I sneaked to the preparation room...And saw that you two are you to fight... please..Let her win... I'll-"D almost cried

"Alright... You got that" Jack said quickly.

"Thank you...I owe you a lot.."D walked away.

Petal looked at Jack "hey Jack you lost once right..?"

"Yep, let's just hope my opponent after Jade would be easy."

Jack did what he said he'll do and lost to Jade, he had one last time and if he loses he's dead.

"Hey..."Jade looked at Jack and held her bandaged arm.

"Yea ?" Jack asked walking through the hall.

"I really respect what you did back there.."she said Blushing slightly "I wouldn't think that anyone here might do this.."She looked down tearing up.

"Hey hey it's nothing really I'll just have to win the next battle how hard could it be ?"Jack shrugs and reaches the announcement room.

Everyone was talking worried while looking up at the names of the next fight.

Jack: one chance left.

Thunderne chance left.

Jack froze eyes widening "n-no... this can't be happening.."he frowned not wanting to fight thunder, most people looked down sadly,Thunder always lost when people had one last chance, he was always a great teacher and trainer to them all.

Jack gulped hand going really shaky, he didn't know which choice will he wrong, which one will be right.

If he wins he'll live on and continue the search for his father, but If he loses Thunder will live, a person who helped him a lot.

Jack dropped down fainted and appeared in his house on the ground. "Wh-what ?"

Tom Walked in looking exhausted, his brown eyes showed sadness which shone in sadness even when covered with Tom's black hair.

"Tom.. What's wrong ?" Jack asked, he never saw Tom in such a state.

"Problems at work.."Tom sat down shivering.

"Work...Right...I always wondered Tom.... What's your job ?" Jack asked curiously.

"Let's just say...a lot of newbies depend on me" he smiled sadly.

"Thunder..."Jack whispered to himself.

"Getting answers for your questions..In the price of someone who sacrificed everything for you... Would you do it or no ?"
