“It happened again,” said Oma, placing her tray down at the lunch table. She had just set her chicken pot pie on fire on accident.

“What happened?” asked Amethyst. Chad sat down next to Phila.

“Another Diva disappeared. Yekti this time,” said Garnet. “We found her body, though. She was stabbed 19 times in the head.”

“19 times?” asked Savera. “In the head? That’s a lot of stabbing. They really intended to kill.” Chad shifted nervously in his seat.

“Hey Chad, can you see if anyone here is guilty?” asked Phila. “Or maybe read their minds?” Chad turned a sickly shade of green.

“I have to go,” he muttered before he rushed out of the lunchroom. Sahara raised an eyebrow.

“Doesn’t Chad seem a little... sketchy?” asked Savera. Phila shot her a mean look.

“He is not! He just needed to go, that’s all,” said Phila, trying to make an excuse for Chad’s weird behavior.

“No, Sahara’s right. Chad was getting sick the moment we started talking about the murders,” said Amethyst. “And he hates the Divas.”

“True, he could have killed Yekti. He had a free period while we had training,” said Nadia. “And Yekti is the only Diva who wasn’t in their training class.”

“Chad’s nice, he would never do something like that,” said Phila defensively.

“You met him 6 hours ago,” said Dian. “And you practically know nothing about him. Even I don’t know that much about him, even though we’ve both been here since we were 6.”

“I used to be his friend,” said Oma. “But that was 8 years ago. He could have changed.”

“All the clues lead up to him, Phila,” said Amethyst. “He is obviously the killer. Or, at least he seems like the most significant figure.” Phila looked down at her food. She poked at it.

“I’m going to go find him,” announced Phila. Sahara stood up.

“Oh no you aren’t. Not without me,” she said. “I don’t want you getting hurt.” Phila walked past Sahara, out the door, and down to the library, where she found Mr.Sach drunkenly slumped over on his desk. She poked him until he woke up.

“Whaddya want,” he drunkenly drooled.

“Did you see a boy with dark brown hair who looked like he was about to be sick come near here?” asked Phila. Sach looked at her with his bloodshot eyes and pointed Phila towards the airlocks.

“Thanks,” she said walking towards the door leading to airlock 7. Phila opened the door and gasped. Frida was on top of Chad and making out with him.

“Chad!” growled Phila. Frida got up off of Chad.

“Well, Chad, looks like you have a visitor,” said Frida, snidely. Chad put his hands up.

“Phila, I can explain,” he started before Phila cut him off.

“No Chad, I don’t want you to explain anything. I’m done,” she said, her hair turning black. She slammed the door that sealed away airlock 7 and stormed off to her dorm room.
