I am not sure how to start this, to be honest, but here it goes. I figured I would give you all an update on what has caused me not to update this story in quite a while or as often as I should/wanted to. To make a long story short, life has thrown many curveballs my way alongside some extremely unpleasant happenings in my family. This leads to general burnout and a lack of motivation to do anything. I am trying to work through life now and have had the time to look back on this story a bit and see what I could have done better and want to do better. Exposition dumps, random over-detailing situations, a somewhat non-sensical plot that I now have a very hard time wrapping my head around, and a total lack of an actual plan on how to get from A to B.

Hopefully, once my life sorts itself out and stabilizes, I can come back to this story in some capacity with a plan and a better understanding of what to do. To everyone following this story, I appreciate all of you and must apologize for ghosting you for so long. I hope to see you all again soon.
