《Danny Phantom x Female!Reader》Chapter 43: This Story's Not Done Till The Lesson Is Learned

Danny, looking scared and shrouded in the shadow, turns intangible, the giant boot squishes him. Danny, still intangible, phases out from under the foot and flies up. He becomes visible once more, the Nutcracker turns and lifts a hand. Then he lunges. Danny leans back as the Nutcracker’s hand grasps him tight, Danny yells in pain. The Nutcracker’s hand slams Danny back--first into a wall, upside down. Cracks appear in the bricks, Danny grunts with effort, his arms out. Danny falls on a purple car with his back on the roof, all the windows shatter and the car alarm goes off.
A shadow grows upon him as the boot of the Nutcracker steps on him and the car. Danny falls back-first into it, bracing himself for impact as a gaping hole is made and chucks of debris fall out. Danny leans down. The boot of the Nutcracker squishes Danny straight through the wall, making an even BIGGER hole. Danny falls on his back on the street, grunting in pain as he uses his hands to sit up when the arm of the Nutcracker, its hand in a fist, comes up.
It raises an arm and charges a pink ectoplasmic ray, leaning forward to blast it. Danny lifts his legs and uses his arms for ballast to stand up, flying off before the blast hits and lifts up a bunch of rocks from the street. Danny flies from behind the shoulder of the Nutcracker with his fists forward and legs in a tail. The Nutcracker’s other shoulder goes to the left as its hand lunges forward, the Nutcracker with an angered expression following.
Danny flies up, with one hand cupped, it starts to glow green, he blasts and lifts it up. The Nutcracker stands straight and marches forward. As the green beam lands on his shoulder, some toys get displaced; a robot, a submarine, a soccer ball, a truck and a box of some sort all fall away. Danny flies fast, his hair is blown back, he charges blast after blast, alternating hands and grunting each time. The Nutcracker marching forward and not flinching, the blows land on his right arm as an owl, a skateboard, a car and a drum fall.
Near his left armpit comes a plane, a football, a clown head, and a stuffed monkey.
From the center of his chest comes a monkey, a football, a plane and a box of crayons, and a green wooden block.
From his right hip a Rubik’s cube, two missiles, a tape recorder and a basket ball backboard/hoop, from his right armpit once more come the familiar block, crayon box, plane, football, clown head, and stuffed monkey. Danny, rather determined, thrusts his hands forward blasting away on the giant Nutcracker.
"You think this can stop me? This bear or this train? I’ll just fire away 'til no pieces remain!" Danny said as he bends over and throws a ball of ecto energy. The crippled Nutcrackerstands there with no emotion as the ball comes closer, pulsing with ectoplasmic lightning.
In a burst of green light, toys fly out and clear away. Danny falls from the sky and lands on his feet. "Nothing to add?"
Danny asked. Then the answer, showed up in the form of (y/n), Sam, Tucker and Lancer. And Jazz standing silent, her eyes filled with tears mourning the bear, she had loved all these years. And Tucker, (y/n), and Sam felt that crushing blow, too.
Danny walks up to you three as Lancer and Jazz walk away, depressed. Danny places his hand on Tucker's shoulder, trying to reassure his friend, but Tucker shurgs his hand off. "Danny, don’t." He said. "What’s your deal?" Sam asked him, irked. "I don’t even know you!" You said, tears in your eyes as the three of you walk away.

It seemed the whole town had come out to proclaim: that Christmas was ruined! The ghost boy to blame.
The people of Amity Park all gather round in the streets, to see the destruction of the Christmas toys. Then they all glare at the one to blame, the ghost boy. Danny looks down at his feet as he turns and flies away. Danny, flying cheerless and alone, his fists out in front of him, his tail cascading in the back. He looks down, swooping the other direction Then lands near a window, walking up with his palms leaning on the pane.
A young boy sitting on the floor of the house, in his Santa hat, smiling and playing while Danny looks from outside the frosted window.
Save for one little boy in his little red hat. He thought Danny was cool.
The boy turns and waves at Danny, who waves back in response, smiling.
So we’ll have to fix that.
Soon, he puts his hand down on the pane, his mouth small and concern. The boy, who was under a huge, trimmed tree filled with round balls of pink, blue and purple begins to emit a heavy aura of white light.
The tree sprouts solid, angry red eyes and a jagged mouth. As is stops glowing, the tree closes its eyes and roars loudly, its tongue and throat visible.
Danny looks up in concern and terror from the window. The boy turns his head. A green branch springs from the tree, displacing a couple glass balls like the one he was holding. More debris fall as the green branch becomes a three-fingered hand. Two green branches sprout from the bottom and land on the floor, becoming legs. It lifts itself up and snaps the tiny, thin trunk.
The tree looks down upon the child, roaring loudly and positioned like a raptor. The boy gets up, runs and screams, as the tree chases him. Cut to Danny gets up from the window and turns away from it to the street, screams are heard. To his right was two trees, one seen from behind stomping, the other chasing a woman looking back with her hand in front of her, screaming. As those two trees walk off, another tree runs after a small boy in the far distance from the left, with its hands out about to grab him. A fourth tree a little closer is chasing a teenage girl from the right, also trying to grab her.
Unbeknownst, to Danny, the ghost tree attack made headline news which reached his parents, who were concerned for his safety. Maddie grabs some axes to protect herself as she goes to find her son.
While his mother moved forth, Danny faced my attack.
Danny turns and sends another green zapper. Then he blazes both glowing hands in front of him, and fills the area with green energy.
Meanwhile, Maddie chops the tree down grunting with effort, with a couple more behind her. She swings her second axe the other way, grunting again, and finishes the tree off, it falls away. She turns behind her to face the other trees, swinging one axe to decapitate that conifer, swinging the other to chop the decapitated part in half as it falls away. "Danny! Danny, where are you?!" She cries.
But he couldn’t shout back. Every tactic he tried would be destined to fail.
Danny landing on his back with his limbs out on the snow-covered street, grunting with pain. He gets up on his hand, groggily, and uses the other to blast an approaching tree. Another one grabs him by the suit on his chest in two arms, Danny turns in shock to face the tree as it lifts him up and throws him aside. He lands on his hands and tumbles across the street, landing on his hands and knees, grunting in pain, as the trees roar behind him.

Two trees step from either side into the foreground, a third lands behind Danny, they all roar as three trees from different parts of the ring close in on him. "If you hear me, just scream!" His mother bellows. "Yeah! With my Ghostly Wail!" Danny said and he stands up, takes a deep breathe and uses his Ghosly Wail on the trees, practically destroying them as they all blow away.
Once he finished, he reverted back to a human and he falls to his knees. Just in time for his mother to pop in. "Danny! Thank heavens! You had us all worried. When your dad saw the news we stopped squabbling and hurried! It’s Christmas Eve, son. Home is where you should be. Let’s get back to the house and I’ll make you some tea." Maddie said as she places her hand on his back and guides him back home.
Later that night, Danny walks down to the lab and faces the portal, an idea forming in his head.
The ghost shield deployed, Danny turned to this thought. To take on the spirit he knew who had wrought this holiday mischief and left him the blame. Come on now, dear boy. Here’s where you call me “lame”.
Danny goes ghost and flies into the portal, entering into the Ghost Zone. "Give it up! You can’t hide I know just where to find you." He said as he approaches the Ghostwriter's home.
But I’m still in control, Allow them to remind you.
Danny flying fast, his hair blown back, holds his chest upright and blazes both his hands with green energy, sending out two blasts of energy to the doors of the Ghostwriter’s library. With some yellow sparkles, the doorway changes into two reddish wooden doors with a spoon on the left and a fork on the right, standing atop a floating rock island. Danny’s ectoblast hits the door head-on. Danny lands with his arms out and his knees bent, standing up straight and walking inside, turning the left, then the right, walking deeper inside. "Them?"
Danny asked. Then he shuddered and trembled.
Danny blinks and looks surprised, for he had entered into a room full of his foes, from left to right is The Box Ghost, then Technus, in front of Technus is Johnny and Kitten, in front of them is Captain Youngblood in pirate form, near Youngblood is Spectra in her supermodel form. The Lunch Lady is floating behind Spectra with her hair flailing, Sidney Poindexter is standing in front of her with his hands akimbo, next to him is Walker, in front of Walker is Bertrand in his assistant form, next to Bertrand is Ember with her arms crossed, and last Skulker with his hands on his hips.
The door had brought him where all his foes were assembled.
"We’ve been waiting for you."
Skulker said with a grin.
"Now our holiday party can finally begin!" Thw Box Ghost said with a smile, rubbing his palms together. Then two overhead lamps flash on brightly, then three more overhead lamp activate and shine. Danny looking to the right astounded in the doorway, with two trees on either side, then turns to the left to see Skulker holding a cup, Ember holding a miniature cooked fowl on a platter, and Walker just standing there off to the side.
"Eat, drink, and be merry!" Skulker greeted. "Have some warm Christmas goose!" Ember offered. "For surely you know of our annual truce." said The Box Ghost. Danny smiles at his foes while back at his office the Ghostwriter slams his fist down on his keyboard.
The truce? It’s still holding? I thought they’d dispend it! To beat on their foe--
"Oh, this truce, we defend it! We don’t fight on Christmas." Skulker informed.
"One day of tranquility!" Bertrand said.
"Come sundown tomorrow…" Spectra mutters.
"We resume all hostility!" All of his foes said in unison.
"Every ghost holds this truce?" Danny asked them.
"It’s a fact!" said Skulker.
"It’s a rule." Walker informed.
"Well, the Ghostwriter broke it!" Danny replied. All of his foes exchange a glance then their face turns angry. "That is really uncool!" Ember exclaimed.
"I’m trapped in his story! The guy’s off his nut!" Danny said. "He ought to know better." Skulker said, brow furrowed. "Let’s go kick his butt!" Box Ghost said, punching his hand.
Uh oh. The ghosts changed their--
His door pounds open and crumbles into wood debris with a plume of green smoke coming from it. Danny Phantom runs inside, followed by Skulker stopping on the right, The Box Ghost floating in on the left, and Ember, Johnny, Youngblood up top, Walker and Lunch Lady from left to right, front to back.
Crud! I have got to type faster!
"It’s over, you hack!" Danny exclaimed.
I don’t think so, young master. The truce they enjoyed--it was fun while it lasted.
Everyone gets shocked and taken aback as they are overcome by a pinkish aura. The Box Ghost’s and Ember’s fists with a pink aura land on him from the left, knocking him away and yelling in pain. Danny lands on a bookshelf with heavy impact, knees bent, hands out at the sides of his head, pink smoke coming from the place of impact. He grunts in pain and lands on his butt on the floor, lifting both his arms out and zapping a powerful green ectoblast within the pink aura, which knock The Box Ghost away, Ember turns her head to see him. Johnny crouches over his hands in front, his shadow a puddle on the floor. Johnny raises his arms and his bad luck Shadow follows, a frightened Youngblood gets grabbed by the Shadow in both hands and is tackled.
Then Youngblood got pummeled then Ember got blasted! They battled each other with all weapons handy. A framed 8” by 10” of my-half-brother, Randy? A clock and a candlestick, those I won’t miss. I wonder what else?
"I know! How ‘bout this!" Danny said as he shoves an orange in Walker's face.
Young Daniel thought quickly, he picked up an orange. He threw it at Walker who....Oh, CRUD! Nothing rhymes with orange!
As the pink aura fades, Skulker's and the Box Ghost's, who were in mid-fight, eyes pop with realization that they are free. Poindexter, in pain, and being sat on by the Lunch Lady, arms crossed and smiling. The pink aura fades away, and their eyes pop as well. Walker holds up Danny by his shirt with two hands, the pink aura fades away and their eyes are now wide open. Danny looks up and smiles.
Walker lets go of him and steps back as Danny falls to the floor. The Ghostwriter, at his keyboard, was shocked as Danny pulls his fist back, his palm in front, then thrusts his fist forward and balls his palm into a fist. The Ghostwriter bracing himself for pain.
Danny punched and landed a foot on Ghostwriter’s face, Ghostwriter looking jostled. Danny swoops a punch on his chest. Ghostwriter lands on the floor on his back, his chest supported by his elbows then looks up. Danny flies up with two hands up on either side blazing with green energy, his body a ghostly tail.
"Roses are red, Violets are blue. Once these fry I’m guessing this lame poem is…" Danny said as he raises his hands and then aims it at the keyboard, which explodes into pieces. "....through? Nooooooo!"
Danny screamed.
"I’m still talking in rhyme!" Danny screamed as Walker's guards arrest Ghostwriter.
I would have forewarned you if given the time. There are two ways to finish this poem--just two. I’d tap out the end but I can’t, thanks to you! So now you’ll guide this story think you can do it all mopey and listless? You think this ends here? You’re about to get burned! This story’s not done till the lesson is learned!
Ghostwriter laughs as he was loaded into police van and Danny lands on his hands and knees in despair. Danny picks up the pieces of the keyboard and looks at them before he takes off and heads back home.
(A/N: with Danny narrating it will be in bold italics.)
With the keyboard all busted, the curse takes its toll. The story continues, but I’ve no control.
Danny walks down the streets of Amity Park, in the cold night air. As he walks by, all the Christmas lights turns off. Danny walks up to a house and looks through the window, to see you leaning over a table, looking depressed. Danny couldn't help but feel his heart break as he sees you look so sad. He looks down and walks away.
You had a strange feeling that you were being watch. You look over at the window but nothing was there. You walk over to the window and look out, just in time to see Danny walk away. You frown at him as you pull out your phone and start to call Sam and Tucker.
Danny walks down a few feet away until he sits on a rock and looks over the destruction from the earlier fight. He lowers his head in his hands until he felt something on his shoulder. He looks up and sees you, Tucker and Sam standing by his side and you placed his jacket over his shoulder.
"Dude, like, it’s Christmas. So why are you here?" Tucker asked Danny as the three of you sit next to him. "Outside, with no friends or family near?" Sam asked him. "It’s my fault. All my fault--what happened tonight. I spoke out in anger and acted in spite. I started this all when I picked that first fight. But I’d give all I have to set everything right." Danny said. Then all of you look up to see the damaged toys and decoration float up then they turn back to normal, like they were brand new.
"The gifts? They’re not damaged?" You asked.
"They’re flying through the air!" Tucker exclaimed.
"Back where they came from? But who would--?" Danny asked at first until he heard a voice behind him. "Beware!" Danny's ghost sense goes off, he goes ghost and turns around, his hand glowing green, but he stopped as he sees all of his foes, all wearing Santa's death.
"The Box Ghost shall conquer this holiday doom!" The Box Ghost exclaims.
"We just couldn’t leave you to suffer in gloom!" said the Lunch Lady as Skulker pulls out his gun.
"Tomorrow you’ll see what this baby can do! But all ghosts share the truce, even half-ghosts, like you." Skulker said as he retracts his gun, making Danny smile.
Desiree raises her hands and aims it towards the broken treasures, fixing them, and the destroyed trees. Once everything was fixed, every ghost started to carry the trees and put them back were they belong, while all the presents head back to their rightful home. Even Danny went to one tree and grabbed the tip while you and the others grab the sides and take flight. You four took the tree to the home of a young boy, who was very estatic, and set up the tree. Danny even helped the kid up so that he could put the star on top of the tree.
Finally, after restoring Christmas, the ghost brought the four of you to Danny's house. "I just saw it happen but still can’t believe your enemies helped you repair Christmas Eve!" said Sam, shocked. The Lunch Lady floats over to Danny, holding a giant red sack. "It’s all back to normal but your house, my dear." She said. "Your ghost shield prevents us." Skulker informed. Danny smiles and takes the sack and said. "I’ll take it from here."
He walks up to his front door and opens it, startling his family. "Ghost!" His mother exclaimed. "No, it’s Santa!" said Jack as he clpas his hands, making the porch lights shine brightly on Danny.
"I know I’ve been kind jerk this whole night. So I snuck out and found this. It’s all of your favorites." Danny said as he pulls out a lavender bowl and hands it to Jack, who takes it and starts to pour the contents in his mouth. "And here Mom. For you." Danny said as he hands a yellow wrapped present to Maddie. "Mmmmm, avrits!" Jack exclaims, happily.
Danny walks up to Jazz and holds up her bear. "And, Jazz?" He said. "Hey! It’s Bearbert! He’s safe and he’s sound! Gee, thanks little brother. Gee, thanks little brother. I knew you’d come ‘round." Jazz saif as she takes the bear and hugs it. "Aw, Danny. You’re smiling. That matters the most. We’re all here together, not fighting some...." Maddie said until Jack shouted. "GHOST!"
They look out the window and saw all of the Ghosts on the sleigh. Then they flew away. Jack grabbed his ecto bazooka and ran outside and starts to fire at the sleigh. "Jack! No! Put the gun down! That’s Santa you’re shooting!" Maddie exclaimed as she places her hand on Jack's shoulder.
