《Danny Phantom x Female!Reader》Chapter 44: Secret Weapons

They say one moment can improve your life or destroy it. Either way it can change your life. Like when I moved to Amity Park, I thought it would be a negative impact on my life. But then I met Danny, Sam and Tucker and it made my life into a positive one. Then Danny had the accident and got powers and, for better or worse, had a big impact on his life. And now, a new moment has come into my life and has changed it. But I'm getting ahead of myself.
It started a few weeks after we fought Danny's evil future self. Everything was returning to normal but the only difference was that Jazz, who had known about Danny's powers since the Spirit Week incident, has now joined us. And whether it was a good thing or a bad thing, it depended on who you asked.
But lately, it seemed that Jazz was driving Danny insane as she was becoming overbearing and over protective about the whole ghost hunting.
One day, Sam, Tucker and I walk out of the movie theater after sitting and watching the Cyper Zombie Commando movie marathon. We stretched out legs and arms as Sam said. "I can't believe we sat through all three cyber zombie commando movies."
I nod in agreement as Tucker said. "I could've used s little less zombie, and a little more cyber. But that's me, I'm all about the cyber."
Sam rolls her eyes as I hold a hand up then I looked up and down the street. The I turn to the empty space next to me and said. "Coast is clear, Danny!"
"Sweet! No sign of Jazz?" Danny said as he turns tangible.
"No sign of Jazz." I assured.
"Good, ever since Jazz found out I was fighting ghosts, she's been kind of--" Danny started to say but then a car pulls up and Jazz shouts. "Danny!" Then she jumps out of her car, grabs Danny and shoves him against the wall of the theater. "---pushy." Danny finished with a groan.
"Danny, are you okay?! You know you should never leave the house without the Fenton Thermos. What if there's a ghost around?" Jazz said as she shoves the Thermos in his arms.
"There's no ghost around. If there was my ghost sense would go off." Danny said.
As if on cue, Danny's gasps as his ghost sense goes off. "Like that?" Jazz said, arms folded across her chest.
We looked around and up above was Skulker, flying overhead. "Skulker?! He's hunting you again?!" Tucker asked.
"Again?! As in more than once?!" Jazz asked Danny, fearfully.
"Jazz, take it easy. There's a rhythm to these things. Ghost attacks, we exchange witty banter, I kick ghost butt, and we all go home having learned a valuable lesson about honesty...or something such nonsense." Danny said, a smirk on his face.
Jazz pulls out a notebook and mutters. "Attack. Banter. Kick butt. Lesson. Got it. So, why's he not attacking?" Jazz asked.
"What!" Danny exclaimed as he looks up and sees Skulker flying away from us. "No attack! He's ignoring me?!"
Danny goes ghost and flies after Skulker while Sam, Tucker and I jump into Jazz's car and she drives off. "Uh, Jazz? Has it occurred to you that Danny's been doing just fine on his own, without your help?" Sam asked. "Exactly! So imagine how much better he will be with it!" Jazz said, happily. Then above us we saw Skulker flying, Danny following close behind.

Jazz stops the car, pulls out the Thermos and runs out of the car. "You just earned your one-way ticket to Fenton Thermos land, gho...." Jazz started to shout but somehow she lost her balance and pushed the button on the Thermos and instead of sucking Skulker in the Thermos, the beam hits Danny and sucks him in. Jazz looks down at the Thermos then over at us.
All three of us glare at her as she gives a small smile. "Think I should work on my banter?" She asked.
"Start with your aim!" Tucker replied, firmly.
Afterwhile, Jazz dropped me off home. She said that she was going to figure out how to get Danny out of the Thermos. I rolled my eyes at her as I walk in the house.
"Hey sweetie!" Mom greeted.
"Hey mom. Hey dad." I said, tiredly.
"Everything okay?" Dad asked.
"Yeah, I'm just really tired. I'm going to bed. Love ya!" I said as I go to hug them. I walk up to my room and open the door.
But as I shut the door to my room, something hits my mouth. I tried to scream but the item on my mouth muffled my scream. I look over to see Skulker looming over me. "The Ghost Boy's little pet." Skulker mutters then he raises a gun at me, causing a dart to hit my neck then the next thing I knew I fell into the darkness.
The next day, Sam, Tucker and I were walking down the hallway while Tucker, suddenly, starts to chuckle. "It's not funny, Tucker." I said, alittle miffed.
"C'mon, six hours crammed in the Fenton Thermos! It's totally funny!" Tucker said, chuckling. We were nearby Dash when I said. "Oh yeah!"
Then I shoved the books out of Dash's arms. He turns around to face me, angrily, but then I point at Tucker and said. "He did it." Dash grabs Tucker by the collar then shoves him in a locker.
"Aw, c'mon!" Tucker shouted as I lean against the locker.
"Is it funny now?" I asked.
"I know you're annoyed Danny but look on the bright side..." Sam said as she goes to unlock the locker. "Maybe that's the kind of mistake that'll stop Jazz from interfering." She unlocks the locker but before Tucker could jump out, Jazz comes up and slams the locker door shut. "Darn it!" Tucker exclaimed, annoyed.
"Guess what I figured out!' Jazz said while Sam and I give her an unimpressed glance. "I've done painstakingly research on last night's mystery ghost." She continued.
"Ah, you mean Skulker?" I said, a small smirk on my lips.
"Let's just call him Ghost X. And based on my research, I would characterize him as a hunter of some sort." She said while Sam goes back to unlocking the locker to let Tucker out. "Oh she's good. We didn't figure that out until he shouted I am the Ghost World's greatest hunter!" Sam said, sarcastically, as she opens the locker and Tucker falls out.
Jazz digs in her backpack and pulls out a file that had Top Secret stamped across it. "Here's my composite file on Ghost X." She said. I take the file to see a very childish drawing of Skulker and a few info on him. "I even written, I must say, some funny witty banter for your next encounter with him. Bye!" Jazz said and she walks away. Sam takes the file and starts to read them.
"See you later, X. You've been X'd. X marks the spot. None of these are funny!" Sam exclaimed.

"And nothing's funnier than her sucking you into the Thermos. You can't follow up broad physical comedy like that with a one liner." Tucker said as she dusts himself off.
I glare at him as I look over and see Kwan nearby. I shove him and he drops his books. He turns to glare at us and I point at Tucker. Kwan grabs Tucker and shoves him back into the locker and slams the door.
"But if Jazz thinks I'm letting her help, maybe she'll stop interfering as much. Worth a shot?" I asked Sam.
"Worth a shot." She said and the the two of us walk down the hall.
I go over to (y/n)'s locker but she's not there. I pull out my phone and start to call her but she doesn't pick up. Huh? That's not like her. I thought as I walk to class. Where is she? I thought until Mr and Mrs (y/n) started walking in. "Mr and Mrs (l/n)?" I said as they look over then walk up to me. "Danny, just the boy we needed to see. Have you seen (y/n)? Is she here?" Mr (l/n) asked me.
"No, I haven't seen her. Actually, I was just about to ask you if she was home sick or something." I said.
"Oh no...." Mrs (l/n) said, tearfully, and she begins to tear up. Mr (l/n) holds his wife close then said. "Well, we can't seem to find her. All we know is that she did come home last night and went to her room and now she's gone!" I gasped in fear at this. No, this can't be happening!!!
"Is there anything I can do? I could come with you to look for her. I want to help!" I said.
"No, Danny, you need to stay here at school. We'll search for her. We'll keep you updated, okay?" Mr (l/n) said as he places a hand on my shoulder.
I look down at my feet then nodded at them. They walked out of the school as my hands started to shake. I become so angry that an ecto energy beam comes out of my hands and I aim it towards a nearby locker. I take a few deep breathes as I try to calm myself until I felt fear creep into my chest.
"Danny?" I hear a voice say behind me. I turn to see Sam and Tucker, who I guess finally got out of the locker, walk up to me. "What's wrong?" Sam asked.
"(Y/N)'s missing!" I replied. Sam and Tucker give me shocked looks. "What?!" Tucker said.
"What are we going to do?" Sam asked.
"We are going to go find her, c'mon!" I said and the three of us head out.
*YOUR POV*
Oh my head! I thought as I start to groan and regain consciousness. I slowly open my eyes then I let out a gasp as I realize that I'm tied up to a table in, what looks like a lab.
It almost looks like the Fenton's lab basement but this looked alittle bit bigger. "Wh....wha....where am I?" I asked aloud.
"Ah, good. You're awake." A voice said. "You've been out for a few hours I didn't think you would wake up." I look over to my left and see Vlad Masters walking out of the shadows. "You!" I shouted.
Vlad walks over to me with an evil smile. "Where am I?" I asked.
"You're in my lab, my dear." He replied.
"And why am I here?" I asked.
"Because you're a huge piece in my plan." Vlad replied as he walks over to a control panel and presses a button. Then a type of ray-gun drops down and aims at me. I gasped in fear as I hear it start to charge. I struggle against my restraints but of course I can't get out.
"Don't bother, child. The only way for you to be free is if I allow it." Vlad said.
"What is that? What are you going to do to me." I asked, fearfully.
"You'll see, my dear." Vlad said as he moves a lever on the control panel.
I look over at the ray-gun and I see that the tip of the gun starts to light up with green. I gasped once again as a green beam shoots out, hits me and I scream in pain.
*DANNY'S POV*
We spent a good chuck of the afternoon and night looking for (y/n) but we weren't able to find her, especially since Jazz was helping and, I hate to say it, she's a lousy ghost hunter.
Every fight with a ghost we encounter, she only caught me multiple times. Everytime we encountered a ghost and try to interrogate about (y/n)'s whereabouts, she would mess up and hit me or suck me into the Thermos.
I was so annoyed and angry that I just went up to my room. I called Mr and Mrs (l/n) to see if there was any updates but, unfortunately, they hadn't found her either. I asked if there's anything else I could do but they assured me not to worry about it and that they will take care of it.
But I can't help but worry. I miss (y/n) and I'm scared that one of my foes got ahold of her and are torturing her.
But the problem is, I don't know who it is. It's not the Lunch Lady, Klemper or the Box Ghost since we tried to hunt them earlier and failed, thanks Jazz. But they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them.
I get into my bed and try to go to sleep as I tossed and turned. Eventually, I fell asleep but it didn't last very long as I felt my ghost sense go off. I open my eyes and look around but don't see anything. I go ghost and look around the house.
I head to the basement and see Skulker looking around the lab, tossing desks on their sides. "And here I thought you weren't hunting me anymore." I said.
He turns to face me then asked. "Where is the Ecto-Converter?"
"See, that's more like it! You make demands and I ignore them." I said. Skulker flies over to me and grabs the collar of my shirt. "Where is it?" He asked, angrily.
I place a finger to my chin, pretending to think. When Jazz and I got home, mom and dad showed us that they upgraded the Family Assualt Vehicle with an Ecto-Converter.
"Ecto-Converter...Ecto-Converter? Hmmm, let me think. Uh...oh, here it is! In my hand!" I said as I raise my hand and shot an ecto-beam at him, knocking him to the side.
Then he flies back toward me and grabs me. Then the two of us fly up and phase through all of the floor then out of the house. I pull away from he then he tries to grab me but I move out of the way.
"What do you want with an Ecto-Converter? Or those Nanobots you stole from Axion Labs?" I asked him.
He lets out a growl then said. "I grow tired of this." He raises his arm and said. "Now!"
Suddenly, a green ecto bind flies towards me and wraps around me and glues me to the satellite antenna. I struggled against it until I looked up and saw a girl floating next to Skulker.
Her hair was white, just like mine in ghost form, her eyes were green and her suit was like mine only it was black and (fav color) and the middle section of the suit was separated as it showed her stomach.
"Oh, am I too much for you to handle that you needed a sidekick?" I asked him.
"I'm surprised you don't recognize her." Skulker said. "What?" I asked him then I turn to look at her. I take a good long look at her then my eyes had widen.
"(Y/N)!" I said as Skulker smiles.
"Now, back to the matter at hand." Skulker said and he raises his arm, a gun popping out. "Where is the Ecto-Converter?" He asked, angrily. But before he could do anything, both him and (y/n) get blasted away.
I look down and see Jazz driving the Assualt Vehicle. "That's right ghosts! You better watch out! Cuz this baby's juiced up by the Ecto-Converter!" Jazz announced.
I waved at her to signal her not to say that, but it was too late. Skulker smiles then raises his binoculars to his eyes, no doubt he was scanning the RV.
"I like your new helper." He said and he gestures for (y/n) to go towards the RV. She nods and flies towards the Assualt Vehicle and I use all of my power and strength to get out of my ecto-binds.
I fly after (y/n) while Jazz fires another ecto-beam at us from the cannon. (Y/N) flies out of the way and I move off to the side as well as I follow her while she goes to the RV.
But before she could open the back of the RV, I shoved her out of the way. She lands on her back and I grab her arms and move them up above her head. She struggles as I shout. "(Y/N), it's Danny, remember?" She struggles but then she looks up at me and her eyes widen.
"(Y/N), please, listen to me. This isn't you." I said.
"D...Da...Danny?" She asked as she blinks. I smiled at her as she has this look on her face like she's struggling, almost like she's fighting something within her.
"Danny...I....I..." She started to say until she stops and closes her eyes and shoves me off of her. I let out a yelp as I land on my back. She places her foot on my chest and raised her hand.
"No, girl. We got what we came here for." Skulker ordered, holding a small device in his hand. She looks over at him then punches my face then flies away as Skulker grabs the Ecto-Converter and he flies off as well.
"Danny, are you okay?" Jazz asked as I turn back to human and get up to my feet in a daze.
"Who was that ghost with Ghost X." Jazz said as she helps me up to my feet.
"He's name is Skulker and that was (y/n)." I said.
"What? She has ghost powers now?" She asked but I walk away and head up to my room.
The next day at school, I informed Sam and Tucker of what happened, while we hid from Jazz in the broom closet.
"What?!" Both of them said, shocked. "I know." I said.
"But how did she get ghost powers?" Tucker asked.
"I don't know but I do know that Skulker didn't do that to her, someone else did." I said.
"Danny? Are you in there?" I hear Jazz's voice. "Hide me!" I shouted as I jump and hide in one of the trash cans. "Cool secret meeting place." Jazz said as she walks in and sits between Tucker and Sam.
She pulls up a laptop and starts to type away. "So I pieced it all together. Ghost X is clearly using the technology he stole to build some sort of super weapon and he somehow brainwashed (y/n) or put her under some kind of mind control and gave her ghost powers. So I compiled a list of his known associates." She said as she shows a file of all of my foes, then I realized something as I stand up out of the can.
"Wait? Where did you get this?" I asked her.
"From your computer." She replied.
I jump out of the can and asked, angrily. "You hacked into my personal ghost files? How did you get the password?"
"It's (y/n) Fenton." Sam, Jazz and Tucker said together.
"Seriously, Danny, it's not that hard to figure out." Sam replied, dully.
"How come you never told me Vlad Masters has ghost powers and has a thing for mom?" Jazz asked.
"Because it's none of your business!!!" I shouted at her.
"If you'll excuse us, we'll be over here doing the glad I'm the only child dance." said Sam as she and Tucker crawl away.
"Danny, calm down!" Jazz said, calmly.
"Calm down! How can I call down when you're constantly butting your nose in where it doesn't belong!" I shouted, angrily.
"I'm just trying to help and I know with everything going on with (y/n)....." Jazz said.
"Nobody asked for your help! You're a lousy ghost hunter, an overbearing sister, and an obnoxious, know-it-all who doesn't respect her brother's privacy, so stop HELPING!!" I screamed, angrily, as all of the emotions I've been holding the past few days, spills out.
Jazz lips quiver as she places her hands over face and runs out of the closet, crying.
The next morning, I was fast asleep, after spending almost all night looking for (y/n) in the Ghost Zone but couldn't find her anywhere, when I heard my bedroom door open. "Danny, have you seen Jazz?" Dad asked.
I yawned and stretched my arms and back as I said. "Huh? Jazz? I hadn't seen her since yesterday. Why?"
"Niether have we. We can't find her anywhere, she's gone." Mom said.
