《Love, Percy》Chapter 7

I put on a suit with a blue tie even though I hate blue these days. Annabeth, Will, Nico, and I were going to some fancy restaurant. I ran a hand through my hair nervously. I tugged at my sleeves anxiously. It was time to pick up Annabeth, and meet Nico and Will at my Prius.
I walked slowly to the Athena cabin. I knocked at the door. Annabeth opened the door and smiled at me. She was wearing a grey dress that matched her eyes perfectly.
"You look beautiful," I said. She really did. I'd have to be blind not to see it. She blushed and smiled.
"Thanks Seaweed Brain. I'm glad we're doing this." I grabbed her hand. I felt nothing I felt with Nico. No butterflies in my stomach, no warmth suddenly flooding me, my heart didn't beat faster when she was around. It was like we were just friends.
We walked to my Prius where Will and Nico were waiting.
"Hi Perce," Nico smiled.
"Hi Percy!" Will said cheerful as ever. "By the way, I thought I'd warn you. Nico has to ride in the back with me. Doctors orders." He winked at Nico.
"Shut up Sunshine," Nico mumbled as he climbed in the back. Will followed smiling.
"I get shotgun then," Annabeth laughed. I opened the door for her and shut it after she got in. I walked around to the other side and climbed in. I started the car and drove to the restaurant. Annabeth placed her hand on my thigh.
At the restaurant Will began to question me. "So how was your trip to see your mom and Paul last Saturday?" Nico raised in eyebrow. In all honesty, I had visited their graves.
"Sad," I murdered.
"What was that Kelp Head?"
"Nothing," I said rubbing Annabeth's hand.
"So how did you and Nico get together?" Annabeth asked.
"Funny story actually," Nico began. I tuned out the rest.
"Right Percy?" Will asked.
"Mhm," I said even though I didn't have a clue what I was agreeing with.

Shatter the Heavens; Slaughter the Gods
Arminius of the ancient era stood over mankind with the ability to perform magic. His ability allowed him to triumph over mortal armies and carve a domain for himself. Then, the martialists attacked. But, the powers of a magician allowed Arminius to escape the cycle of reincarnation, landing him an eon into the future. In the new age, magicians are entirely extinct, and the martialists from the old era have perfected their martial way, allowing them to attain godly powers that far surpass what Arminius was ever capable of. So, what else should Arminius do except learn their method and use it against them?!
