《Saving Wisdom and Wizards || PJO x HP Crossover》Chapter 25: Bad Boy Supreme

In a matter of seconds, Thalia and Nico had their swords pointed at Percy. Percy held his hands up in a surrender.
"Geez, you can deal out the jokes, but ya can't really take them, huh?"
Will looked between the the big three kids as they stared at each other in tense silence. That was until, Thalia laughed. Her, Nico, and Percy began to crack up.
~~~
Percy was having such a great time catching up with his cousins and Will, that he almost forgot the reason he was there. Almost.
Because he was the closest to Annabeth, Percy was put in charge of making her shrine. Percy hated that he was closest. He was always closest. Closest to Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, Leo...
Percy's made so many. Granted, Reyna helped him on Jason's but still. Why him?
How was he supposed to make a shrine for the love of his life? Making the shrine is accepting that she's gone. His wise girl. Gone.
Percy sat on the beach overlooking the water fiddling with Riptide, a tear slowly rolling down his cheek.
He was going to make Annabeth the best dam shrine camp has ever seen.
~~~
"What's that?"
"It looks like a dragon."
"Dragons aren't real, Jamie."
Leo guided Festus onto the ground in front of the Big House.
"Did somebody order a Super Sized McShizzle?" Leo shouted.
Campers flocked around Festus, as Leo helped Calypso down from the metal dragon.
"Leo?" Will and Nico stood gaping at the supposedly dead son of Hephaestus.
"Hey, guys!" Leo walked happily over to them only to be slapped in the face by Nico.
"Jeez, ow! What was that for?" Leo rubbed his face. Calypso covered her mouth to hide her laughter.

Will continued to gape at Leo. "We thought you were dead!"
"You were dead!" Nico shouted. "I felt it! How are you even-"
Leo waved his hand cutting off Nico's rant. "It's a long story, which I'll tell you guys later. In the meantime," Leo grabbed Calypso's hand. "Guys, this is Calypso. Calypso, this is Will Solace, son of Apollo, and Nico D'Angelo, son of Hades."
"Wait, hold on. Calypso, as in Calypso from Ogygia?" Nico asked.
"Yes. It is very nice to meet you both."
Chiron slowly trotted out of the Big House. "Leo?"
Leo turned to see Chiron. "Hi Chiron."
"My boy..."
"It's a long story. I already told Will and Nico that I'd tell them later. Besides, Piper and Jason'll probably want to... know..." Leo trailed noticing how everyone got quiet. "What? Why is everyone looking sad?"
"Leo..." Will started, "They didn't make it."
Leo froze. "W- what?"
"I'm so sorry. You've been gone for nearly two years. They- they didn't make it out of the war."
Leo's eyes watered. "What- what about Hazel? Frank?" Will sadly shook his head. "Percy, Annabeth? Did they- they have to have made it. Right? Will?"
Will was on the verge of tears. "Anna- Annabeth," Will's voice caught, "She didn't make it either. We're um," Will cleared his throat. "We're having her funeral later today."
Leo couldn't move. Now he knew how Jason felt to be smacked by that brick. He slowly tried to process the information. "If it's been two years... why is Annabeth's funeral today?" He quietly asked.
Chiron sighed. "Percy's been in denial this whole time. He spent the past two years searching for her."
Leo's eyes widened. "Oh my gods."

"Yeah." Nico agreed.
Calypso stood, confused, listening in on the conversation. "Percy Jackson?" She asked.
They nodded, as Thalia walked up to the group. "Uh, speaking of Percy, has anyone seen him?"
~~~
Percy emerged from the ocean carrying Annabeth's shrine. With the help of sea creatures, he was able to make it perfect. It was grey, and had water elements mixed into it. Percy was pretty proud of himself.
Nothing could have prepared him fo seeing Festus sprawled out on the lawn.
"...Leo?" Percy mumbled. He knew he couldn't get his hopes up. Percy put the shrine under his arm and wiped his eyes with his hand. First he was hearing Annabeth's voice, now he was seeing Leo's metal dragon. He's officially lost it.
Percy walked towards Festus, and before he knew it, he was sprinting towards the dragon. As he got closer he saw Chiron, Will, Nico and Thalia. No Leo.
He slowed to a jog. "Chiron! I've lost it. You were right. Congratulations." Percy yelled. "I'm starting to see things-"
Percy ran up to the centaur and froze. Right behind Festus, Leo stood grinning at Percy.
"...Leo?" Percy asked hesitantly. He reached out to touch him. Percy's hand carefully poked Leo's shoulder. He was real.
Before Leo could say anything, Percy dropped Annabeth's shrine and smacked the back of Leo's head as hard as he could.
"Schist! That hurt like a butt-"
"Where in Hades were you!" Percy shouted. "We thought you were dead! Two years, Leo! Two. Years." Percy was furious.
Leo shrunk back a bit at Percy's outburst. "So, is now a bad time to introduce you-"
"I thought you were dead." Percy's voice cracked, cutting off Leo.
Leo's lip trembled at seeing Percy. "I'm- I'm sorry."
Percy shook his head and reached out to grasp Leo's shoulder, pulling him into a hug. "I thought you were dead." Percy mumbled.
Leo hugged him back. "I know. I'm sorry."
"Two years, Leo."
"I know."
"Percy, it is good to see you again." At Calypso's voice, Percy jumped back.
"Calypso?" Needless to say, he was surprised to see her standing there.
"Hello."
Percy gave a small smile. "Wait, Leo, did you...?"
"Yeah, that's what I've been trying to tell you. Bad Boy Supreme is better than just making ladies swoon." Leo winked at Calypso.
"How did you...?"
"When I 'died' the first time (during our quest, remember)?"
Percy nodded. "Yeah, I remember Jason telling me that."
"Right. I was brought to Ogygia so when I 'died' I went back and helped get her off the island."
"The Gods never let you go?" Calypso sadly shook her head. Percy swore. "Really Zeus?"
The sky rumbled in response.
"Percy, it's alright. You did what you could."
"But it wasn't good enough." Percy looked at Annabeth's now broken shrine on the ground. "It's never good enough."
Leo frowned at seeing this new side of Percy. This was most definitely not the friend he knew. He looked towards Will, Nico, and Chiron, who's faces were deep with sympathy. Thalia held the same shocked- frown he had.
"Percy?" Nico said quietly.
Percy shook his head. "What? Oh." He bent down and picked up Annabeth's shrine. "I, um, I need to fix this."
"Percy it looks great."
"No, no, Will, it's broken. See? The corner? It's chipped. It needs to be prefect."
"Okay. Do you want us to help?" Will gestured at the group.
"No. I need to do this by myself. I have to."
Thalia spoke up. "Percy, let us help. We were her friends too."
Percy and Thalia stared at one another.
Percy sighed. "Okay. Fine."
Nico nodded, and he slowly walked over to Percy, taking the shrine from Percy.
The Fire Within Can Be Scary
In a fantasy world similar to ours, magic worked similarly to physics, with each elemental spirit magic being tied to a state of matter. Earth is solid.Water is liquidAir is gas.Fire is plasma. Four elements, four states of matter. However in the ancient world of Hitarea, "Plasma" hadn't been discovered yet. The people of this world believe that only three states of matter existed, and thus, only three elemental magic could exist. For years, Earth, Water, and Air stood alone as the three main elements from which all others originated. Advanced arts like metal from earth, or Ice from water were only extensions of their original element . . . so what does that make Fire? Fire is powerful as the earth with its mighty explosions, flexible like water as it writhes around in the air, and swift like the wind. All at the same time. Fire, in regards to combat, is the most powerful element by far. This fearsome power is Alden's to master, but this power is a double-edged sword. One shouldn't play around with fire if you don't want to be burned. The fire within can be scary, you know?
Cursed Forest
This is a high fantasy story with horror elements, featuring the map-maker and half-elf Aspen, and his friend Sekafi, a hyena-like humanoid as they are sent on a mission to map out unknown territory and encounter a monster. Soon they're involved in something larger and more dangerous than they ever wanted. What happens next, you'll find out when you read. This is the first story I'm publishing here on RoyalRoad. I wanted to try this site out since it's more geared towards fantasy. I've been at Wattpad for about 2 years under the same name, but since I'm not writing romance I haven't gotten much steam there. This is my latest story, and it's also published on Wattpad in the book called Short Stories. I wanted to start with something new and unfinished here. I'll try and update at least once every other week, sometimes more often. ~RiisingNovels
Red Wheat
Skylar Kylee Wintersong was born an Indigo Child. Celebrated by her parents, who ensured that she suffered no restrictions that might hinder her powers, ability or genius, she has grown up knowing that she was a member of the elite, born to rule and guide. However, the cruel whims of beings who are Gods have intervened, and not only dropped Skylar in a savage reality of magic, muscle, steel, and blood, but granted her all the powers she thought she was entitled to. Her knowledge that she's been born to rule and guide, that she was a chosen one, has been made real, with all the terrible burden that entails. How will a 21st Century Earth girl survive on the Six Worlds of Shtar? A place known as "The War Worlds." The entire thing is somewhat tongue in cheek, fun high fantasy with a touch of satire. Rather than adding in likable and relatable characters, the three Earthlings are supposed to be caricatures and somewhat satirical, as I was making fun of the type of fantasy that was being spit out all over the place at the time I wrote this about a decade ago. It is currently unfinished and on hiatus.
