《W || J.H》32

While eating dinner the boys were loud and noisy as usual. Even a small word would make everyone burst out into laughter. Their company was naturally very amusing and entertaining. Some of the jokes were so hilarious that I choked on air twice laughing too hard.
Well yea... it was a little embarassing...
"Hyung at least someone other than Jimin laughs at your dad jokes" Hoseok commented with a concerned look on his face on the third time I actually risked dying.
"Ya you all should take examle from these two" he said trying to make them feel guilty, pointing his index finger at everyone.
Soon enough after finishing eating we sat in the living room all together and started chatting.
Well, THEY were chatting. I was just sitting awkwardly like a lost kid inside a candy shop.
There were three couches, I tried to take the one-seat one but Yoongi took it a second before I was about to sit and smirked.
Uhm... why?
It was a totally friendly relationship between me and the boys but often they'd tease me and act all weird for some strange reason.
Without any clue of where to sit, I stood in the middle, waiting for my turn.
"Jiji-ya come here!" Seokjin exclaimed.
So I ended up squished between Taehyung who was literally squishing me to death, yes again with this time with a different member and Jin who kept on giving me food.
The saying "home is where heart is" couldn't be more accurate; it wasn't awkward at all with all of them there, heck it felt more like home than my own home. I was totally at ease and felt like a piece of puzzle perfectly fitting into that beautiful family.
Well BTS and ARMY are already a family.
"Guys I have an idea" Taehyung beside me suddenly raised his voice, bringing me back to reality.

"Why don't we learn sign language?" he turned his head in my direction as the gap in between reduced.
"Ok but we need an interpreter" Namjoon reminded.
Just in that moment I remembered I had taught the basics to Hoseok but the question was whether he had forgotten them or...
"We don't really need it" Yoongi denied. "Since Jessie knows how to write, it'll be easier" he continued receiving nods of approvement from most of the members.
Taehyung suddenly playfully wrapped his arm around my shoulder as his head rested on mine.
I was absolutely not fine.
Even though my heart was totally racing at his nonchalant ways, my eyes suddenly went to Hoseok who was beside Jungkook.
He was putting his happy expression on. It always disappeared when he was alone with me though; I wonder why...
As I was taking glances at him I noticed that even with the lights being slightly deem, he looked so...mesmerizing in plain clothes.
From the way he was sitting laid back, his hair, with half of the pink dye being gone, his eyes, being enfolded in faint darkness, his lips, softly painted by red, his thin neck, his broad shoulders, his slender arms, his veiny hands, the way his loose shirt whispered to me secrets about his skinny body, those baggy pants that hid his long legs, his ankles that had suffered a lot of twisting because of the hard coreographies, to his candid toes; everything about him was just...
I couldn't even finish when I realized that he was starting back with a confused expression.
Omg how long was he staring??? How long was I staring??? Someone help me hlbhllpjnl klbvk mlj Jiitfchkkjbhhik
I immediately looked away after as my cheeks flushed blood red. It was so embarrassing to be caught like that.

Taehyung lifted his head and looked at me. "Jiji what's wrong?" he whispered in my ear, sending me shivers all over.
Nevertheless, I shook my head as I tried to keep it together. He then gazed at my tomatoe-red face for a good while and decided to ignore it.
"Off topic but since she'll be staying here for a while we'll need to be able to communicate when she's out or to avoid getting lost or just in case of danger, so I'd opt for a chatroom" Seokjin proposed as motherly he is.
"Ok hyung" Jungkook took his phone which was lying on the floor and got busy with his task.
"And-" he tried to continue but got cut off by the maknae again.
"Hyung"
"What?" Seokjin answered surprised at Jungkook's shocked expression.
"Remember that she lost her stuff?"
"Yea so?"
"Her phone"
At that the young guy sighed deeply "Right" and faced me "Jiji don't worry we'll buy you a phone tomorrow. Our manager hyung will accompany you since we have schedule ok?"
I quickly grabbed a post it. 'You don't need to buy it to me, I can do it for myself' as I was writing he read it out loud to let the others know.
"Aww" he ruffled my hair "I know that sweetie" he paused looking at the members for a moment as my heart started pounding at his 'sweetie'.
"It's our gift to you" Seokjin smiled and it was so contagious, I swear.
Soon I was smiling too, nodding my head without a reason like an idiot.

The Lies They Told Me: Short stories from my life
Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date. I hope that this book will help all of us come to terms with the realities that we face today or deal with some of our deepest feelings about the past. Maybe these people lied to us and maybe they honestly believed the myriad of things they told us, but either way I think we can have a good laugh looking back and remembering the first times that we realized these things weren't true. I also hope that you can look back at the lies, or life lessons, that you've learned and can be inspried to own your stories and share them with others in a genuine way. Wiithout further ado, I hope that you enjoy the many short stories of my life that made me who I am today. These stories range from funny to down right surrel, so good luck on your journey!

That promise is all she thinks of when she jumps in front of a car to save her brother. She expects death, but instead wakes up to a looming clock tower, cobblestone streets, and dead soldiers wearing lockets just like her mother's. Kess's locket marks her as one of the Errant- people with control over dimensions and time, and the same people rumored to have captured her brother across the city. When a military group mistakes Kess for their enemy, she swears allegiance at gunpoint, hoping to search for her brother from within. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary. When the murder of an important Errant soldier throws the city further into civil war, Kess uncovers a plot that could undo everything she's fought for so far. The only problem? Her brother is at the head of it. Trapped between her promise to her mother and her morals, Kess finds little use for her theatrical brawling of the past. She can only hope to find her brother before it's too late. || Update: 4/24/2022 Have decided to rewrite this novel, but will continue to post chapters of this draft, possibly with commentary.
