ABHISHEK

It was around 2 in the afternoon.

I decided to surprise Aishi by taking her out for lunch.

Wearing a light blue tshirt, black jeans and white nike high tops, I grabbed my wallet, phone and aviators from the table.

"Kaha jaa raha?" Shubman asked me, the minute I stepped outside.

"Bahar." I told him.

He gave me a look saying 'Tell-me-the-whole-thing'.

"Aishi ko bahar leke jaa raha hu." I said.

He smirked at me which caused me to blush and him to laugh later.

"Have fun." He said, walking into his room.

I leaned on the car outside Aishi's college, texting her.

She replied within a second.

I looked at my right to see a girl who was sticking to me way too much even after I was done taking a picture with her.

I took a few pictures with others before replying to Aishi.

I looked up to see Aishi standing at a distance away from me, her hands crossed over her chest and a smile on her face.

The girl who was next to me started speaking but I excused myself and walked towards Aishi and embraced her in a hug.

"Now, I'm getting looks too." She chuckled, pulling away.

"Come on." I said, holding her hand and leading her to the car.

"Where are we going?" She asked me.

"Surprise." I smiled.

She rolled her eyes before asking, "Does it mean I'm bunking college?"

"Are you fine with it?" I asked.

"Totally! I got quantitative techniques for the next two hours, and I don't like math... so I guess, you're lucky." She shrugged, smiling.

She was wearing a white blazer pulled up to her elbows, a loose white top underneath which was tucked in dark denim jeans ripped at the knees and nude stilettos.

"You look good." I said.

"Is that supposed to be a compliment?" She asked, chuckling.

"Well, yes!" I exclaimed.

"Thank you." She laughed.

"You brought me to Rim Naam. Wow." She said, with a huge smile on her face.

I held her hand before walking in.

We took a table near the small man made lake. The place was gorgeous. It was just nature all around.

We ordered our food and while Aishi looked around the place, I stared at her.

"What?" She asked, slightly chuckling, when she noticed me staring at her.

"It's February 5th today." I told her.

"So?"

"I leave in ten days."

The smile left her face.

"Oh yeah. Totally forgot about it." She said, giving me a small smile.

I kept my hand on hers.

"Anyway, we have ten days. Let's make the best out of it." She smiled.

"Yeah, but won't you miss me?" I asked her.

"I will, obviously." She laughed.

"Got too attached?"

"Yeah, which I shouldn't have." She chuckled.

"Why?"

"The problem with getting too attached to people is that, when they leave, you feel so lonely. It's like a part of you has left."

"I'm always a phone call away." I told her.

"This feels so surreal." She said, laughing.

"What does?"

"You, my cricketer crush, Abhishek Sharma saying that he's just a phone call away is surreal." She laughed.

"It is what it is, Zaisha Kapoor."
