"Where are we going now?" I asked Abhay.

"Surprise surprise."

"I'm going to punch you. Tell me." I chuckled.

"You'll see, Aish." He said.

"Aish? New nickname?" I smirked.

"Yeah. I like it." He winked.

And I like you. So much.

But obviously Zaisha Kapoor isn't going to tell you that.

"What're you thinking?" Abhay asked, glancing at me.

"You know the other day I spoke to Dhriti." I started.

"About?"

"Mayank."

"What did she say?" He asked.

"So I started with asking if she liked anyone and she said no. Then I started speaking about Mayank and how good of a human being he is with those god blessed looks and she some how caught on it and asked whether Mayank likes her."

"And what did you say?"

"I said yes."

"Then what did she say?" He questioned.

"First thing she did was smile. She later said that he's a nice guy. So I asked if she would ever go out with him to which she said yeah, only to see if things could actually work with him or not and you know, to get to know him more." I ended.

"Is that a cue for Mayank?" He asked.

"Duh."

"Will convey."

"Good. So now where are we going?" I questioned again.

*

"Sankey Tank!" I exclaimed happily as Abhay parked the car.

We walked in and sat on the grass, looking at the lake.

"It's the second day we're missing gym." I informed him.

"Wow Aish. I brought you to such a romantic place to watch sunset and all you could think about is us missing gym?"

"Since two days." I added.

"Are you serious!" He exclaimed, shaking his head.

I couldn't help but laugh at his over dramatic behaviour.

"I've spoken to Neel. He's given us a break of three days." He said.

"So, does that mean we're going out tomorrow too?" I asked.

"What's your attendance percentage?"

I rolled my eyes at his question.

"96%"

He looked at me for a few seconds.

"Okay fine, 84%." I huffed, rolling my eyes, which caused him to chuckle.

"Then, maybe, yeah." He said, emphasising on the word 'maybe'.

"Strike maybe, because we are." I said, emphasising on the words 'we are'.

He shook his head; smiling.

"Tell me about yourself." He started.

"What do you want to know?"

"Where are you from, about your family, what's your aim, everything." He said.

"Well, basically I'm from Delhi, here in Bangalore to study. My dad is an investment banker, who also, owns club lounges in some cities. My mom is a doctor, who happens to be the physiotherapist of the Women's Cricket Team. I have a younger brother named Zain, who's in 11th grade now. And I've a dog named Bruce."

"And what do you want to become?" He asked.

"Your wife." I muttered so he couldn't hear.

"Heard that."

WHAT IS IT WITH LIFE?

"I was just kidding." I said, rolling my eyes, but I could feel heat raise to my cheeks.

"I honestly haven't decided anything yet. I'm just so interested in dance, maybe something in that line." I shrugged, plucking grass from the ground.

"A choreographer or dance instructor or what?" He questioned again.

"Something like Nora Fatehi." I said, smiling.

He nodded as he understood what I meant.

"You tell me now." I said.

"Tell you what?"

"About yourself."

"Oh, like you don't know. I'm pretty sure you even know my dog's name." He chuckled.

"Leo is cute." I smiled.

"See!" He chuckled.

"So, you're a Kapoor. Does that mean you're punjabi?" He asked.

"Yup. Ludhiana is my hometown. I was born there and later we shifted to Delhi when I was five years old." I explained.

"Tam tusim punjabi bolade ho?" He asked.

"Thora jiha. Pravaha nala nahi." I said.

"I can see that." He chuckled.

"Shut up." I said, hitting him on the arm.

"So Ludhiana is like two hours from Amritsar."

"I know. I've been to Amritsar." I told him.

"When?"

"So whenever I fly down to Ludhiana, I go to Amritsar too. It's like fifty percent of my family lives in Ludhiana, forty percent in Amritsar and five percent in Chandigarh and the rest in Patiala." I explained.

"Wow." He chuckled.

"So, the next time you come to Amritsar, call me. We'll meet." He added.

"And why would I want to meet you?" I asked.

"First, because I'm your crush. Second, you intend on being my wife. And third, why wouldn't you?" He smirked.

I threw some grass at him while blushing.

"I was joking about the wife thingy. Get over it." I said, rolling my eyes, but a constant smile played on my lips.

"Yeah, right." He chuckled.

We sat there looking at the sunset and him continuously pulling my leg about me wanting to get married to him.

I mean, that's true, but he needs to shut up.

It was almost 7 when we decided to leave.

"Let's go to Corner House. I'll show you how the best ice cream in the world tastes." I exaggerated.

We reached the nearest Corner House within a few minutes.

The parlour was packed.

"Stay here. I'll be back with something to die." I said and stepped out of the car.

I retured within five minutes.

"Introducing, Corner House's very own, death by chocolate!" I announced.

He took a bite and I just looked at him waiting for his reaction.

"This is really good." He said.

"I told you!"

"Yeah, but I think the strawberry flavour of your lips tastes better."

And this time, I choked on my icecream.
