《Tooth And Claw || Kellic (mpreg) ✔》Chapter 16

The next morning we find ourselves walking deeper through the trees, side by side each other, not once leaving the other's side. I wish we could talk in our forms, that would be a lot easier. I wonder to Oli has to power to allow us to talk in our forms?
"I don't have the power to allow you both to talk in your forms Kellin." I look over to my side to see Oli walking next to me. "But, I can allow the both of you to read each other's minds." He says, before he places two fingers on my head, along with on Vic's head.
I don't know what he did, but whatever it was, it worked. I turned to Vic, he was watching me curiously. "Kellin? Can you hear me?" I heard Vic say in my mind My ears pricked up and my tail started wagging behind me. "Yeah! I can hear you Vic!"
His ears also pricked up and he wagged his tail. "Yes! We can communicate with each other!" He barks. "Thanks Oli." He says, looking over at Oli. Oli just smiles and nods at us, before he disappears, where to exactly, I'm not sure, leaving Vic and I alone walking through the trees.
We're far from the border now, and I have no idea where we are going. Suddenly my stomach started growling, and I stopped, causing Vic to stop also and look over at me. "You okay kitten?" He asks. I nod. "Just hungry." I say, walking over to him.
He nods, before stopping me from moving with his tail and looking over at me. "Keep still. And stay there." He says. "I can smell deer." He then walks ahead slowly, and I sniff the air, smelling the strong scent of deer up ahead somewhere.
I lay down slowly as I wait for Vic to catch the deer and bring it back over to us. It's a good thing we won't get sick from eating our food raw like humans do. I prefer eating it cooked though, but, raw isn't too bad.
After around ten minutes, Vic comes back over to me, carrying a deer in his mouth by its neck. I sit up, licking my lips as Vic drags his catch over to me. He drops the deer down next to me. "Eat." He says, sitting down in front of me with the deer in between us.
Licking my lips, I look down at the deer, before taking a bite of it. Mmm, this is just what I need. Food. Fish would be better, but, deer is fine. I look up slightly to see that Vic has started eating also.
After we've finished eating, we lay in the shade together, Vic was currently grooming my fur for me, while I slowly doze off to sleep. This pregnancy is making me really tired, but that's just one of the side affects of being pregnant I guess.

Just before I could fall asleep fully, my ears pricked up, as I hear barking in the distance, and what sounded like, humans running through the trees. I sat up, looking over at Vic. "Vic. I hear humans and their dogs coming." I say quickly. He sits up and sniffs the air, before a low growl forms in his throat.
He nudges me up slightly, and I stand up, and follow him through the trees away from the humans and their dogs. We run away quickly, but I stop as I trip over something, landing on my side in the grass. Vic looks back over at me, and runs over to me. "Kellin! Are you okay?" He asks frantically.
I nod, standing back up into my feet. "I'm fine. Just, tripped over something." I say, but yelp in pain as I fall back down, whimpering slightly as I look down at my hind paw. I move it around, but whimper when a sharp pain shot up my leg. Whimpering, I looked up at Vic. "I think I sprained my paw." I whimper.
Vic sniffs my injured paw slightly, before looking over at me. "It looks like it's starting to swell." He says. I whimper, as I lay my head down on the grass. "Hey, it's going to be okay kitten." He says, licking the top of my head. I reach up and lick the side of his face, but whimper, as I see around five large dogs stalking over to us.
Vic seems to smell their scent, as he turns round to face them. He starts growling at them, and stalking closer to them. I look around us to see a group of human males running up behind the dogs with what looked like some sort of gun, with these weird looking bullets that kinda looked a little like flowers, but didn't at the same time.
The dogs started to whimper and yelp in fear as Vic growls louder at them and lashes a paw out at them. I start hissing as a couple of the humans come closer to me holding that gun out at me. I lash a paw out at them, and they back away a little at the sight of my relatively sharp claws.
I stand up on three legs, holding my injured leg up off the ground, as I hissed at the humans. Suddenly, a stinging feeling occurred in my shoulder, and my vision went hazy. I whimper, as I collapse onto the ground. Vic turns to look over at me, and growls as he sees that weird bullet thing sticking in my shoulder. I only just see him turn towards the humans and run at them, before one of them shoot at him also, causing him to fall to the ground next to me.

I hiss at the humans as they walk closer to us, before my eyes roll into the back of my head, and darkness clouds my vision. Whatever's about to happen to Vic and I, it can't be good.
(there will be a few P.O.V.'s from the wolves back at the Pack house, but only the ones who knew about Kellin being pregnant)
It's only been a night since Kellin and Vic left, and I already miss them. I miss Kellin helping me out with mine and Johnnie's pups while Johnnie goes out hunting with Vic. The pups already miss them too. Although, they miss Kellin more than Vic. All along the way back to the Pack house from the borderline, they wouldn't stop barking out Kellin's name. Well, they didn't exactly say Kellin, but, what they were both barking kinda sounded like they were saying Kellin's name. To me at least anyway.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Groaning slightly, I hit Johnnie's chest with a paw, getting him to wake up and answer the door, as I'm a little preoccupied right now with feeding the twins right now. And plus, I'm also in my wolf form right now.
Johnnie moves around so he's on his side facing me. "What is it Kyle?" He mumbles, half asleep. I flick my tail over at the door, and Johnnie looks at it, as whoever was there continued to knock on it. Grumbling something under his breath, he stands up, going over to his drawers and pulling on a tank top, before walking over to the door, opening it to find Mike Fuentes - Vic's younger brother, standing there.
Mike looks over at me and waves at me a little. I flick my tail, acknowledging that I got his greeting. I then look down at the twins as Tyler moved up to my head and sat next to me once she was finished feeding. I licked the top of her head as she barked at me.
"Johnnie, do you know where my brother is?" I hear Mike ask Johnnie. I look up over at them, and sit up after Avery finished feeding and padded over to her sister. Vic warned us that Mike would come ask one of us where he and Kellin went. And, it's pretty obvious actually that he'd ask Johnnie and I. After all, Kellin and Vic spent a lot of time with Johnnie and I lately.
"Sorry Mike, Kyle and I don't know where exactly they've gone." Johnnie says. "But, Vic did tell us that he's not cut out for the life of a Pack wolf, but a lone wolf." He says. "Whatever that means." He adds.
Mike didn't look that convinced at that though. Like he knew there was something Johnnie wasn't telling him. I jumped off the bed, looking over at the twins as they curled up together and fell asleep. I then walked over to my drawers, after changing form and slipping on some boxers and a tank top. Then walked over to Johnnie and Mike.
"Mike." I start. "We don't know where Vic went. Or if Kellin even went with him." I add. "We're guessing they left together though. But where they went, we're not sure. They didn't say where." I say. It doesn't really seem that fair that Vic didn't tell his brother about all this. I mean, Vic and Mike are pretty close. Or, at least used to be.
Mike shakes his head in frustration. "What I don't get, is why he left, but didn't tell me." He says. "I'm his brother! And he didn't even tell me he was leaving." He sighs in frustration. "I'm gonna go find him." He sighs, shaking his head.
My eyes widen and I look over at Johnnie. "Mike, Vic says that he doesn't want you to go out looking for him." I say. He looks down at me. "Why would he say that?" He asks. I shrug. "Honestly, I don't know." I say. "He didn't say why."
"Well, I don't care." He says, shaking his head. "I'm gonna go look for him anyway. And with that, he runs off down the hall, leaving Johnnie and I standing at the door, not sure what to do about this situation.
Johnnie sighs, shutting the door, as we go sit down on our bed with our little pups. I feel Johnnie wrap an arm round my waist and pull me closer to him. I look over at him and he presses his lips to mine and kisses me softly. I kiss him back, but we pull apart as the twins climb onto our laps. We looked down at our little pups and smile at them as they barked up at us.
"Don't worry Kyle." Johnnie says, brushing my hair off my face and pulling it behind my ear. "Vic and Kellin are going to be okay." He says, kissing the side of my face. I smile at him, and rest my head on his shoulder, as I move closer to him, holding Tyler close to me, as Johnnie holds Avery close to him.
I just hope Johnnie's right, and Kellin and Vic are going to be okay.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.
