Chapter 6 - G02's Mystery
7 Days Since Teleportation
August 9th, 2065 - Earth Date
[Unknown, Unknown - G02]
Off the shore of a relatively large lake that seems to stretch 3 miles across, a rather odd city of tents has sprouted from the ground with vehicles and equipment surrounding the tents separating them from the deep forest in the rear of the campsite. People of some sort seem to be rather busy doing their duties in a calm orderly fashion. Inside a tent much bigger than the others, is a group of people about to start a meeting, a tall bespectacled man begins to speak to a specific individual in a white lab coat.
"Williams can you tell me your findings of G02?"(Roger)
"Well, ... sir I don't know where to begin..."(Williams)
Roger was a tad bit tired than usual and found himself sighing more often than not in this past week. He inhaled slowly and begin to exhale in a rather exhausting manner and began to speak.
"*Sigh* ... Williams just start with the rock we ended up on."(Roger)
"Yes, well even that is a mystery in and of itself but I will begin with the most obvious one that is rather confusing. So am I correct in knowing that you all know the basics of what weather phenomenon the moon on earth can cause to the planet. Correct?"(Williams)
In the large tent, Roger his superior, Diana his superior's wife, Sanchez who has been in charge of exploration and recon, and a few others who have been appointed to important duties, all who were present noded their heads in acceptance to Williams’s question.
"Since you all know for the most part I will say that this planet's existence of land should be impossible if not improbable. At night when these moons are out it should be high tide, with them also being so close to G02 it should have no land at all visible on G02's surface. Thus the mystery. My team and I can not explain this via mathematical logic it's simply impossible or we are missing a piece of this gigantic puzzle....*sigh*"(Williams)
Even though williams loved mysteries and figuring out the impossible this specific mystery was taking its toll in frustrating the lieutenant, he also sometimes caught himself sighing for no explicit reason other than for him to release his stress. Roger who also felt the same frustration due to a more serious reason, replied back to Williams.

"Ok, so you are telling me that G02 should essentially be a water world with a lack of life beyond micro organisms, correct?"(Roger)
"Yes."(Williams)
"And you are also saying that some force of nature is at play here and you do not have a clue of where to begin."(Roger)
Williams begins to open his mouth to make his next statement, but stops short when he remembers his other research. He goes into thought for a few moments and ultimately decides to talk about his other research and where it had led him to.
"Well sir, I can't say I don't have any clues. It's just this one takes it to a whole new level of mystery, but may ultimately be 'The Smoking Gun'."(Williams)
"Ok, Williams explain."(Roger)
".....MMM Yes, well when we first got here you had told me to look into the atmosphere to be sure it has safe levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide. Well I may have gotten a little more excited than usual and did many more test beyond that, and found something rather odd. You do remember when we were back on earth and I had told you that the Teleportation devices used a different type of energy other than thermal, but because the devices worked using the earth's core we never gave it any thought and continued with the construction of the devices. Mainly because we had a time restraint."(Williams)
Roger began to rub his chin trying to remember this specific conversation he had with williams, as he began to remember he looked back to williams and spoke.
"Yes, I do remember .... why?"(Roger)
"Well sir I found the same energy signature to the one the earth's core and the sun's solar flare had and it's not in G02's core, it's everywhere. I mean it literally, we are currently breathing it in."(Williams)
Roger was about to say something out of sheer anger but restrained himself from doing so, he removed his glasses and handkerchief and began to wipe his glasses clean. Roger during this brief time was contemplating whether to beat the living daylights out of the Lieutenant or give him a stern warning. He ultimately decide on lightly tapping the hand of his only top ranking scientist that led countless revolutionary technological projects back on earth and so Roger began his stern warning.

"Williams, I understand the excitement of being on another world other than our own and under normal conditions I would have let it be ........, BUT.... this is not our world and we have no home to goto, to top things off we may very well be the last of humankind in this galaxie. So in the future any research you do big or small, round or square, white or black I want to know about it. IF NOT I MAY HAVE YOU COURT MARTIALLED OR WORSE STAND BEFORE A FIRE TEAM!"(Roger)
As Roger finished scolding his Lieutenant, he slowly began to place his glasses upon his nose and just as slowly adjusted them to fit comfortably. After he looked towards the frighted Lieutenant he followed up his threat with a singular question or underlining command if you will.
"Do I make myself clear, First Lieutenant Williams?"(Roger)
Williams who was essentially caught in the headlights like a deer, was frightened and not so much because his superior was angry but because he and as well as most people there in that tent had never seen the general so much as threaten a bug, but just a few moments ago he was threatening to take his life if he continued to do research without letting the General know about it beforehand. Williams who was still reeling from the abrupt threat replied and did so in a more formal “Soldier & Superior” manner.
“Sir Yes I understand, Sir!”(Williams)
“Good, so from my understanding is that this energy signature is here on this planet but it is not as scarce. Correct?”(Roger)
“Yes sir.”(Williams)
“Ok, so is it possible that we can create a teleportation device and harness this energy to move us back to our original landing point?”(Roger)
“No sir, I’m afraid that is close to impossible. The first reason is in finding the original landing point maybe close to impossible or at least not in our lifetime due to us seeing a totally new constellation system that by no means does it match ours on earth. Secondly and this is probably more important the energy signatures are the same at a basic level but as you discover more about them they are completely different. It’s like comparing a claymore explosive that explodes and a bucket of water that just flows. What I’m saying is to generate that kind of power we would need an explosion or a power source on the level of a cosmic catastrophe. And if you are wondering if we can use G02’s core, that is also not gonna be possible because this planet is like the opposite to our earth, earth had a limited unstable energy core, G02 has a unlimited stable surface energy. How this is even possible that both worlds are so different is not a question I can answer, sir.” (Williams)
Roger and the rest present in the tent were all excited at one point during the conversation thinking they maybe able to leave this planet that is completely foreign to them. But that was immediately shot down by Williams and his explanation which gave a very grim and obvious answer to them, they would never be able to leave this planet or at least not in their lifetime.
Roger having resigned himself to reality sighed in resignation to the messed up situation decided it was time to move on to the other reports.
“*Sigh*....Williams continue your work on this unique energy, also be sure to make regular reports on ALL your findings. Understand?”(Roger)
“Yes, sir.”(Williams)
“Oh yes, before we continue on, Williams I want you to look into finding a way we can harness this unique energy.”(Roger)
“Yes, sir.”(Williams)
Williams was finally done with his report. Roger still seemed fatigued with everything he has been handling since coming to this god forsaken planet, But he still had to get through the other reports.

The Dao of Magic
Here I am, sitting on a mountain so far away from civilisation it might as well be the godforsaken arse of the world, about to ascend. Can't wait to leave this crapfest of a planet... Turns out that the higher ups decided that an unaffiliated rogue like me is too big of a risk to let run around free. Seems like this entire cultivation world is a late stage capitalist money making machine for the powers that be in the higher realms, and me stealing the good loot in front of their descendants and sect disciples noses finally pissed them off enough to take action. First, they sent all the sect masters and hidden dao protectors to off me - which failed, obviously. Heh, afterwards they simply bitch slapped me out of their universe though. That is interesting and all, but I just woke up in a valley watching some critters murder each other while trying not to freak out about how bad it smells here.Soo… where the fuck am I? Why is that deer fighting a feathery squirrel? Why am I teaching this baby rabbit saved from a cannibalistic mother how to kick beings in the face with the power of qi?Releases a couple of times a week! With his friends dying left and right, what will happened to the humanity we knows as. Will Kip remain the same person he always was, or will he changed into something else? Hey guys, thank you for checking out my work. I've read so many novels on this site and it inspired me to write my own story. I've been studying English for about 2 years now and thought this would be a good opportunity to increase my writing skill at the same time. I am currently studying my degree at a University so I'll continue to edit and write more chapter whenever it's convenient for me to do so (which is like, all the times haha). My first work can turn out to be a bit crude, but I hope you guys will be patient and allow little small slime to grow. Thanks!!!

Dear Mr. Thanos The trouble with the universe is that it doesn't want to be balanced. In fact, it requires regular pruning.
