Cassie was about to call it quits for today when she remembered she had one last thing to do. She groaned and opened her emails and found Koto’s message that he had just sent only thirty minutes ago. It was getting late and Cassie didn’t know if she’d be able to get back to him in enough time, but as long as it was done tonight she’d be good on her work for the day. Cassie opened the email and read it aloud.
“This should be the last revision bla bla, I’m really only looking for a decent bla bla you don’t have to get it all done tonight. Okay, I do have to actually, but I don’t have to try too hard since he’s only looking for good enough, so Ankara won’t kill him.” She clicked on the link and began to read what he sent her.
Cassie was reading intently for a good five minutes or so what she suddenly realized this piece was… interesting. Koto was working on something new, but this was something she had never even heard of.
“What is this?” Cassie decided to look up to the title and it seemed normal enough; so she went back to reading.
…Connor wasn’t the type to think about people like this, but with how his days have been he couldn’t help but imagine what her help would have done for him. He thought; what would her hands feel like? What would her voice sound like if they were alone? How would she react if they…
“Okay, that’s a problem!” Cassie stopped reading for a second and decided to evaluate what was going on. “I have a strange feeling Connor is Koto and this woman is… me? No, I'm just overthinking this.” Cassie shook her head and went back to reading as she tried to find evidence that she wasn't this woman.

It felt really nice to hug her, Connor thought back to the first time they had gotten a bit closer than just tutor and student. Connor was upset and couldn’t handle his home life, she understood that and made things better for him. She gave him a hug, and besides it being the first hug he ever felt like he needed, she was connected to it making his body burn with a desire he had never felt for any other woman before.
Cassie stopped before thinking about something, she then quickly went to the end and found the woman’s name and dialogue.
“How could things have gotten this bad?” Karina said.
“It’s not bad. I didn’t even mean for you to know about this but… but I can understand if you want to distance yourself from me.” Connor knew what he was saying, but how she felt was more important. Connor expected Karina to agree instantly with him, to have a look of disgust on her face, but instead she looked upset. Her beautiful brown eyes wavered with reluctance and her mouth opened and closed several times before she finally got up turning her back to him. “W-what’s wrong?” Connor said rising as well. Karina said nothing for a long time; Connor let her compose herself. He heard her shaky breath come out before she spoke, still with her back to him.
“I’m a terrible person, both for letting you get this serious…” She paused and her hand came up to her face, “And for getting feelings as well.” Connor couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He assumed it was a mistake and calmed his shaking body to speak.
“W-what are you saying?” Karina turned to him. Her face was wet with tears and the stutter he had rarely heard was more than present now.

“I-I don’t know w-what I’m saying, but I know what I feel and it’s the same as you.”
“I can’t fucking believe that. This pervert really sat here and wrote a whole ass fanfiction for himself and me.” Cassie sat back in her chair with a dumbfounded look on her face. “But I wouldn’t say it like that either… I guess he must really like the idea of the vulnerable older woman breaking her shell to the kid who’s going through the same thing.” Cassie decided to keep reading to see if he got to writing an adult scene between them. She found something close, but her email went off and she checked it only to see the subject line in all caps.
DON’T READ WHAT I SENT!!!
“Kind of too late for that one Connor.” She opened the email and got the jist that Koto had sent her the wrong email in a sleep deprived state, he explained that story was something he wrote on a whim and she shouldn’t read it because it’s really poorly written. “No, it’s fine, it just exposes you a lot.” She decided not to mess with him and just lied. She wrote back to him that she had only just now checked her email and wasn’t going to do anymore work until the morning. Koto was happy with this and sent the right one.
Cassie smiled to herself as she was interested in this story and wanted to read it seriously. So, to prevent Koto from seeing she was reading it she just made her own copy and saved it. Cassie then shut off her desktop and headed for bed.
