《Guardians : Awakening of Athene》Chapter 19: Monster

The mist conqueror Alice, surrounding her as she runs from the ogre. The path continued as if it was endless, without any clear sight. She ran into a dead-end. Scanning with her eyes as the ogre continued to approach her. She turns away facing the green monster as she steps back knowing she had to fight.
Her vision closed as she breathes. – Athena – She chanted.
The blank dimension appears upon her, glass piece pieces scatter across into space. Her eyes scanned as if she knew what she wanted. Pieces faded one after another, remaining only one. The glass puzzle revolves around her, entering into her soul.
"My darling, you can't just run all the time. There will be times where you have to stand alone."
Athena's majestic voice echoes the room as Alice returns to reality.
She opens her vision, the golden eye shine with glorious light. Athena's words made her emotional. She knows, she cannot escape her fate. Her destiny and her purpose.
In order to survive in this world, she had to become stronger. Even if that means, risking her life.
Without fear, without worry and without an escape. She stared into the red bloody eyes of the ogre. Her blood boiled as her aura increased, as she realized, she had become a battle manic.
She walks toward the green ogre with a smile, grasping her fist.
Her hands immerse seven different colours, grasping that fist of hers, accepting her bloodline of battle freaks.
- Grasp of the Seven Skies - She chanted.
She leaps aside, jumping at the ogre. Taking the first strike and another with her legs. The ogre falls back. He growls in pain, raising his large fist, aiming at Athena.
The sounds of screams erupted reaching Alice's ears. She noticed with the familiarity, it was Sarah's.

She rushes towards the direction of the voice, ignoring the demon in front of her. Her body dissolves into blue particles of matter as the ogre grabs into nothing less.
Afraid of using Athena's powers, afraid of becoming someone else, she forbade herself from abusing this power. Because the more she consumes her powers. The more she becomes consumed by her powers.
Blue particles forming a human form of Alice appears in front of Sarah and Hana. Two bodies laying on the ground corrupted with blood. Hana knees beside them casting her recovery magic, while Sarah and the young glasses girl lies unconscious.
Alice walks towards Hana, only seeing her tears dropping uncontrollably as her magic fades away. Her gentle voice loses its power with the loud cries from her throat.
Sarah's body turned cold, eyes wavering at Hana. "No...its...alri...ght. Don't cry...'. Her hand reaches Hana's face, gently gazing through her cheeks, drying up the wet tears.
Hana continued to chant, the words heal, repeated over and over again. But no mana was generated as the blood flowed more.
Alice rushes over, she stands still like a statue. Speechless as she stares into Sarah's black eyes. She kneels down as well, placing her hand on Sarah's head. Gently flowing down from her beautiful dark hair.
Although they never knew each other, Sarah was like a younger sister to Alice. One who she thought as a family. One who treated her as a friend. Immediately, she entered Athena's dimension. Hoping for a spell of recovering. The puzzle pieces scatter across the blank space.
- Search: Magic: Recovery - She shouted.
Glass pieces faded away, one after another. Disappearing into emptiness, only to discover none.
Zero. The only thing remaining in the blank white space, it's the space itself. She stares into nothing less. Remembering that Athena is a goddess of war, surviving millions of battles just based on her physical abilities. Why would she ever learn the power of healing, when it doesn't matter to her. The only things that could have injured her, there is no cure to that.

She stood stand, knowing she cannot save Sarah, she grasped her fist as she turned toward to 3-meter green ogre. Her eyes engage as if she wanted to kill. She wanted to destroy this ogre, she cannot stand the fact that this ugly beast injured her friend.
She cannot stand her powerless, she could not stand holding the strongest powers within the three realms. She cannot stand such powers cannot even save a single human.
She shouted to the sky, enraged at the ogre and more enraged in herself. Her black and golden eyes faded into bloody red, dark sparks immersed from her body. As her screams become louder with the eruption of darkness aura corrupting her body. The darkness forming a black amour of scales across her body. Her amour covered her entire body only revealing parts of her upper chest and covering only her nose and mouth like a mask. Along with a tail of a scorpion made with black scales.
The green ogre growl at Alice, as she roars back at him. Without revealing her jaws, she stares into the eyes of the ogre with her eyes. Black demonic wings grew on her back, as she launches herself into the air. Gliding her path, she reaches her hands out with her metallic claws. Tearing a piece of the ogre out as she landed behind his back. Blood spatter as she feeds herself with the green limbs. With no jaws nor tooth, an empty dark space appears from the mouth, consuming the piece of meat.
She turns her head towards the ogre as she leaps forward tearing another part of the ogre off. The ogre repelled with his left fist, coming in contact with her body. Alice flies out from the impact smashing into the cold dead tree. She then lifts herself up and charges once more at the ogre. Ripping the left arm off this time, she steps back and bends like a tiger, striking with her body. Tearing the left and right leg off this time. The ogre screams in pains as if he was begging Alice to stop. Alice spins and flips her body, pinning down the ogre's neck with her tail. Dealing another strike with her claws into the forehead, destroying his brain. Alice screams into the sky. The whole entire maze echoed with her vibration.
Her vision turned to Sarah and Hana as if she does not recognize them. She launches her body against them. Rising her claws as she flies over. Dealing with a fatal strike as her bloodlust eyes shine in ruby light.

Rejected At First Sight
"Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hit a wall. I took a step back and realized that it wasn't in fact a wall, but instead a very attractive male. I looked up at his head to see a very messy, but sexy, mop of black hair on top of his head. When I looked closer, I noticed that his hair was a very deep brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled downward to his eyes, where I found two deep, ocean blue eyes looking back at me. My gaze travelled farther down to his crooked nose, to which I assumed came from too many fights. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips, which were turned into a sneer. "You have got to be kidding me!" His pink lips said in a very offensive voice. My eyes turned questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. "Whatever, lets finish this. I, Ashton Carter, reject you, as my mate." He, or Ashton, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? On my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school, rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people at this school. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.
