Black night conqueror the sky, moonlight shine upon the sleeping princess. Her hand holding the bottle from that inn, half empty as she pours the rest into her mouth.

"Alice, what are you planning to do?" Sir Lancelot, sat beside her, chewing his orange carrot.

Alice opened her eyes, emptiness and black on the left, while victorious golden on her right. "University, I need to know more about this world. School is probably the best." Alice has always been a schoolgirl, even though she was all home-schooled. Being the daughter of Yukie, who was a genius herself. Alice isn't bad either. She is probably the brightest and the most intelligent kid in Verona. She even promised her mother that she will graduate from university.

The rabbit concerned, "I guess, but you can always be a porn actress!" Lancelot smirked. "The rated 18+ industry is really popular now, you can make some good money!" He excitedly laughed.

Alice smacked Lancelot and grabbed his ears, throwing him into the sky.

"Let me down, let me down, I give up!" Lancelot panicked and dropped into Alice's palm.

Alice points her index finger at Lancelot's forehead. "You wanna die?" She asked with an annoyed expression.

Alice sees her own reflection on the waterfall. Her white blouse and mini-skirt were definitely from an office lady's, small enough to enlarge and emphasis her 36D size cups especially without a bra. The mini-skirt short enough just to reveal her black lace underwear. Scrolling down her legs with white leggings, along with the black boots from a police officer.

"It's kinda sexy, I would fall for that if I was a lesbian" A majestic voice echoes into Alice's mind. "Kinda suits you don't you think?" She laughs as she toys with Alice.

Alice's face turns red with Athena's voice travelling through her mind.

"Ummm, I meant the city is a dangerous place, you don't know anything about it!" Lancelot panicked even more after seeing Alice's reactions.

Alice lifts her body up support herself with her hands pressuring the stone.

"We don't have a choice. I need to understand more about this world."

The rabbit sighed. "Alright, but just to warn you. The city isn't kind... especially for your kind." Lancelot pulls out his second carrot from his bag and passes over to Alice. "Eat and grow stronger!" He smiles brightly.

Alice questioned "isn't the city filled with humans as well. I mean I never met anyone outside the castle, but it shouldn't be much different"

Lancelot smiles gently at Alice. "Yeah, but... you are a Demi-human." He remains silenced as Alice absorbs this information.

Alice's expression changed, at first she was just wondering how other humans were like. But now her face is full of questions.

"You don't look any different but I can smell it. The monster blood in you. Demi-humans aren't treated equally in the city." He continues to chew on his large carrot.

Alice looked onto her hands. "I am.. a.. monst..er?..." She doesn't believe it, 18 years of her life, she was told and lived as a human. Studying from her mother and her teachers, there is no possible way she was a monster. She thought to herself.

Memories flash through her mind one moment at a time. Her mother, her father, the kingdom, and herself. She sighs as tears fell down from her eyes. She didn't want to believe it but she cannot run from the truth. She hasn't counted the times of crying. She tries to stop the tears but she cannot.

Because she always knew. She was different from the rest. Why she was never allowed to be outside of the palace or why she was always alone. Her parents restricted her to make friends, she was told it was to protect her. But father always told his people it was to protect them, saying Alice's power was uncontrollable. But she knew, she was mana-less and father didn't want his people to know that.

Alice eventually became rebellious from their actions and hated them for that. But her mother was right, she finally realizes this. She was protecting her. But it was all too late.

It wasn't that she was a monster that everyone should be afraid of. Oppositely, it was that she is a human in the continent of monsters. Verona is a kingdom of monsters.

Alice wipes her tears off, finally stopped her cries. She laughs and reaches her hands to the skies but her voice deepens with a majestic tone. "Monsters, humans, and demons. Eventually, I will rise above all of them." Her golden eye shine at the stars.

"Al...ice? Are you okay?.." The rabbit steps back, being afraid of her.

Alice smiles gently and looked into Lancelot's eyes "Human kindness? I will allow fate to decide that" She sighs, as she embraces the rabbit into her chest. "Next stop. Human City."
