Malina came rushing towards Sky and after making sure she was fine, she addressed Damon, “You, ok? I don’t know how you did it but don’t blame yourself over this unfair match.”

Damon smiled bitterly. “I’ll handle myself. What about Sky? I hope she’s fine. And I’m sorry.”

Malina observed him with a curious eye. “I don’t know how you knocked her unconscious, but she’s fine. Its you, I’m worried about. Here, practice this cultivation method and follow every instructions carefully. Ask Sky later, if you face any trouble. Looks like your sister is awake. Go ahead and console her.”

With that Malina brought the unconscious Sky on a floating stretcher, leaving a dumbfounded Damon behind.

“That was…new. *Sigh* I never expected to witness something like this.”

The old turtle was filled with curiosity and fear as it stared at the bright horizon. It predicted changes in the cultivation world once again.

‘First, A kid called Dream pops up from seemingly nowhere. And now this kid. What does this all mean? A happy ending? Or…’

Damon’s eyes narrowed, as he watched the kids dust off and resume their training as if nothing happened.

“They don’t remember do they? They forget all about the time I used my silver eyes….Is that normal in the world of Romma?”

“I told you, those eyes have the ability to change reality. According to my investigation, those silver eyes grant you heightened strength and speed. But it also forces you to unquenchably lust after souls. When you ‘off’ the silver eyes, everyone witnessing the event forgets about it….to the extent where they don’t even strongly question how things turned out the way they did. Normal? If this was normal than pigs could sprout wings and fly.”

Damon blinked twice at him, “Really? Looking at you I’d be surprised if the pigs in Romma didn’t fly.”

“Okay, smart ass. Go console your sister. She’s awake and alone. she must be feeling alienated in this strange place. And without a guide? (sighs) you’d have to take proper care of her.”

The room looked strangely bigger than before, as rays of sunlight lit the beautifully decorated room. But Damon’s attention was fixed on the little 10 yr old girl, who stood by the open window, gazing at the mountain. Noting Damon’s presence, she asked in a quiet voice, “We are not on earth, are we?”

Damon smiled, she always was the brighter one in the family, “We are in the world of Romma, it’s a place where people who practise immortal cultivation live. (Smiles) you should see the stuff they could do little sister. Some say at higher level of cultivation, they could even fly! Imagine! floating in air, flying to the skies and touching the clouds, (exhales a breath of air, as his fists clenches) It’s like a dream come true.”

Kate looked up to study her brother’s excited face when he joined her by the window. She observed, “you look happy. I suppose you don’t know and don’t want to know the way back home do you?”

Damon cringed, “About that. We have a lot to talk about. Starting from the night you were….kidnapped, a lot of strange stuff happened. But you need to stay strong Kate, what I’m going to tell you might come as a bit of a shock.”

Kate dropped her head as her fists clenched and tears fell from her eyes. “We can no longer go back, can we? What about grandma? Won’t she be worried sick? It’s bad enough that her son disappeared but now her grandchildren too? Oh! What if she succumbs to depression and her poor heart gives out? Who will take care of her? Who will tell her jokes to keep her smilling? Who..” She breaks down as she slumps to the cold hard wooden floor.

‘Ahh that’s right, I didn’t have anyone i could call family other than Kate. But, what about Kate? I can’t believe I forgot about her feelings. (This time Damon grits his teeth) How could I not consider what Kate must be going through? She’s a plain and simple little girl growing in a loving family. Until recently, where she was ruthlessly snatched from her home and thrust into an unfamiliar world by unknown, powerful enemies. And if I told her she’s no longer human, then? This…’

The old turtle walked on air, as he watched the 2 children shaking and trembling in fear. It spoke as it cleared its throat, “little Kate, don’t cry. All is not lost. This king knows a lot about the world of Romma and I guarantee, there might be a few ways to get back to earth. But! If you want me to tell you, you must wipe those tears and smile. You’re a big girl, aren’t you? So, you shouldn’t cry like a toddler. Come here, do you want see a magic trick I know?”

Damon stilled as he shouted, “No! she’s, my sister! I won’t have you perform your perverted magic on her”

“Perverted?! Brat! Did you just call my pure magic a work of perversion?”

“What else would you call it? Stealing a little girl’s panties won’t land you a Nobel prize. It will land you in a jail though, you dodgy old man.”

Kate stopped crying as she witnessed her brother shouting at an old floating turtle, that surprisingly talked!

“Did you say you have a way to take us back to earth? (Wiping her tears) please help us go back home. I will buy you as many panties as you want.”

“Home? Do you mean you want to go back to earth? Hmm I might have a way to help you with that.”

Sky came in through the door, striding like a queen in her new dress. Her skin was spotless, although a bit pale and dull, she still had her youthful energy.

“Sky! You’re awake!”

“yes, I am. No thanks to you.” When Sky looked at him accusingly, Damon averted his eyes as he traced his index finger over his cheeks, guiltily.

“Kate Silverhouse? Damon’s little sister? Ohh, you look so unbelievably cute! you won’t mind, if I pinch those chubby pink cheeks do you?”

Kate hurriedly cupped her cheeks with her hands, “No! no way.”

Sky narrowed her eyes, “Not even if I offered a trip back to earth?”

Kate scrunched her eyebrows as she struggled until she let her hand fall helplessly to her sides. Sky grinned brightly as she softly caressed Kate’s soft cheeks.

“I can take you back to earth but it’s a different story for your brother. (She narrowed her eyes at him all the time, taking light pinches of Kate’s cheeks) He’s not coming until he tells me how I, a trained cultivator was knocked unconscious by a rookie.”

“That…is easy. I was pulled back until the edge of the stage and when you came near me, (His cheeks flushed) I stealthily threw small stones at your eyes. I succeeded in stopping your attack, but unfortunately your momentum knocked you into me. Sending us both flying out the stage. I landed on you ‘accidentally’ knocking you out. It was a pretty bad move on my part. I’m sorry.”

Kate still observed Damon’s face carefully as her caressing got a bit rough, poor Kate had to suffer for her brother’s idiocy.

“Okay! I believe you. There was no other way you could have defeated me without ‘punching below the belt’ so to speak.”

Sky stood up and patted Kate’s head.

“Follow me.”

Sky held Kate’s little hand and made her way to her abode, walking like she didn’t care who the queen was. Damon chuckled when Kate made a ‘pitiful’ face at him.

Barely a whisper, Damon said as he looked out the window, “So, I’m going back huh?”

The old turtle noticed his mood and observed, “you don’t look happy at the prospect of going back to your family?”

Damon took a deep breath and followed after the duos.

“You’ll see.”
