In this world, a person’s emblem decides everything. Your work, your education, the flow of your life, they all depend on it. The skills of these Emblem would either come from genetics or luck. While some parents may pass on their abilities to their child, some may not. Lucky or unlucky, some may develop a whole new ability. With a peaceful world, many are born with emblems that follows a life of a common man. Others would climb the ladder of nobility and wish to become rich and successful. Whether they can create fire for war, cut trees for homes, create water for the thirsty, it all depends on the individual. It was not long before the emblems were told to be blessings from the gods.

There are known to be three type of peoples in this world.

First are the blessed. With one in a million chance, they are blessed by many goddess and could hold two emblems. People call them the Extra Ability user or EXA for short. Second are the common people; they are born with a single emblem. Base on their unique ability, they could become the best or be the worst. And lastly, the most unlucky ones of all, the markless. With a chance to near one of a billion, they are born without the two blessing. The reason is unknown and could only be called unlucky. Without a chance to show the world what they can do, they are already observed as a failure.

In all schools, students are ranked based on their abilities. On a level from 1 to 5, they are gauged in many aspects. It would range from its strength, utility, defense, and its efficiency. The higher rank you are, the more you are open to greater success. Students are expected to hone their abilities as an Emblem user and let that guide them in life.

Now today, today was the day where all new students find themselves in new schools. With all odds against Lynn, the emblem of the hero shall rise once again. The tale of sacrifices once more begins.
