1: Update on Cruxborne Legends

This past week has been hectic since the shoutout from MelasD for this side story in the Lord of Creation canon universe! Almost 20 followers to this story and our first rating (a 5 star! Wow!) shows me that the community from Salvos are truly wonderful, but however this doesn't mean I will stop writing this story because much like you, I want to see what happens in Valtir and how Markus will handle being put into a situation where lives are on the line! There is a TON of mysteries involved with this story and it is saying something if even the author doesn't know every little detail ahead of time! Anyways, I wanted to write this little informational chapter to help everyone understand what is happening with the Eternal System and how it affects the story going forward!

2: Stats, Levels, and Tiers

For those of you who don't join the Discord, here is the rundown:

[Vitality]: This governs Health (Hitpoints or HP) and Health Regeneration for the characters in Cruxborne Legends. For each point allocated to this stat, +10 HP and +2 Regen are added.

[Strength]: This governs Damage Output (how much melee damage a person can do). For each point added, +1 additional base damage is allocated. This can be stacked with weapon bonuses and helps deal with the relevant Weight stat of weapons.

[Agility]: Do I really have to say too much here? It works in a similar fashion to Dexterity in DnD where for each point allocated, +2 Movement is added. This also affects Stamina by increasing the Rate of Regeneration by 0.5% per point (on a 100 scale).

[Perception]: This governs Eyesight and Detection abilities. For each point added, the character is able to see an additional 10 meters and have a 0.5% chance to detect hidden traps. This stat also affects Discoveries in the Archaeology Skill.

[Intelligence]: This affects Memory Retention, total Energy, and Cognitive Processing. For each point added, +20 energy is added to the total energy pool, Memories can be further easily recalled, and processes become 1% faster. This is why the Vil'thrum race is able to process everything 30x faster than normal humans because the base Int stat for humans is 10.

[Wisdom]: This affects Decision Making and Energy Regeneration. For each point added, + 2 regen are allocated and characters are able to distinguish between Positive, Negative, and neutral choices with greater ease.

{Tiers}

In the world of Cruxborne Legends, we will be seeing a different set of tiers for each of the characters we come across. Here is the difference:

Tiers 1 to 4:

- Bronze = F- Grade

- Silver = F Grade

- Iron = F+ Grade

- Gold = D- Grade

Tiers 5 to 7:

- Quartz = D Grade

- Diamond = D+ Grade

- Emerald = C- Grade

Tiers 8 to 11:

- Knight = C Grade

- Duke/Duchess = C+ Grade

- Underlord/Underlady = B- Grade

- Archlord/Archlady = B Grade

Tiers 12 to 15:

- Sage = B+ Grade

- Monarch = A- Grade

- Herald = A Grade

- Demigod = A+ Grade

Dark Cultivation Realm: Dark Divinity*

- S- Grade

- S Grade

- S+ Grade

- SS- Grade

- SS Grade

- SS+ Grade

- SSS- Grade

- SSS Grade

- SSS+ Grade

* Dark cultivation is only available to the Eternal/Elder Races and are not currently available in the Eternal System yet as the Primal Powers have not yet finished the project.

Unlike normal cultivation where pills, expensive resources, and countless hours are spent to toughen and expand the person's dantian core, Dark Cultivation relies heavily on the experience of combat and far darker nature of the Elder Races to provide bonuses that are otherwise unavailable to them. Dark Cultivation forsakes the traditional methods of refinement and are the counter to normal cultivators in the Eternal System. There isn't a known method for other members of similar races to disable or cripple another's dark cultivation.

As for levels? Well, experience carries over similar to the game RuneScape. ex: 1000/1000 -> 1000/3000
