The view in front of me is crowded with peoples walking and talking. Seems I’ve been revived huh….So right now I’m at , it is populated mostly by humans. I receive many stares from around but it retracted after a while. I guess dying is a normal thing after all.

“But seriously, this is the first time I enter the city. It felt like I’m really in another world…”

No wonder people call the Virtual World as second life for us humans. This really is “a world”. The city is very peaceful, with people taking strolls and walking leisurely. It’s like we’re in a Middle Age era. With stone buildings and brick walls arranged, this really makes me forget about the modern era in the real world. With no advance technology, only wooden made tools. It certainly is very amazing.

Even though I knew this will happen, but it really hard to accept. Well at least a girl killed me.

She really ran as fast as she can. I appreciate that. By the way, our stamina in this world is same as the real world. So no matter how high your stat is, your stamina will still be same.

Ah, thinking about it, map does have that feature eh? We can see our friend just by looking at the map. Friends will be a green dot. And obviously red is an enemy, white is NPC and there is variety of symbol representing each function.

“Well Akai-chan-“

“Just call me Akai. I’ll let you do that….”

“Really? Then you can call me Luke.”

“Yeah! I will!”

She sure looks very happy, man…….her innocent face is unbeatable!

“Then Akai-“

“Y-yeah!?”

Hm? She sure flustered too much.

“Well what I’m saying is, I want to log out and take some rest first. How about you?”

“Ah….okay, I’ll also do the same. I felt like I’m having a headache right now.”

“Oh are you okay? Maybe you should go to a doctor.”

“Yeah I’ll do that. T-thanks for your concern…..”

“Y-yeah….no problem at all! And thank you very much!”

“By the way, how about we create a party?”

“But why? Aren’t being just like this is enough?”

“Of course being like this okay too. But party give will us much more benefit. It will help us too split experience evenly and will help in dividing the looted item.”

“Oh, that is certainly nice! I agreed!”

“Okay before that, I must explain to you about Party System in S.O first. Or else, you’re going to be confused about it.”

“Okay!”

Then I’ll start, party in S.O is not like a simple party in any MMORPG. It has its own features that make it very unique. There is two type of party in S.O, that is [ Contract Party ] and [ Companion Party ]. The difference between this two is very immense, you should check the info first before creating any type of party with someone else.

[ Contract Party ], this is mostly used for a short-time party. It let players to divide the experience and the looted item evenly. But, the leader can create any condition and the party member will be force to follow it. For example, let say a random leader create a condition “All of the looted item belongs to me”, so all the looted item will be given to the leader. But the experience will still be provided evenly. The drawback of this type of party is, the players can’t leave the party unless the contract is complete or the leader themselves give the permission to leave the party. But usually the [ Contract Party ] that create by other players doesn’t really have any extreme condition unless in a certain situation.

Then for the other one, [ Companion Party ] , is mostly used for a long-time party. This kind of party, have its own unique benefit other then splitting everything evenly. The maximum amount of people that can be grouped into a [ Companion Party ] is 15 players. The players will be able to share experience in a long-distance place. The maximum range of the sharing experience is divided by each region. Meaning, if both players is in Evertia’s region, then they can share their experience. But if one player is at Evertia’s and others at Ryukyu, they won’t be able to share their experience.

Moreover, this kinds of party have to create their own party’s name. This is too symbolized that the party have its own individual. Even though the party can be created anywhere, they still have to register their party after creating it to The Guild. Even though it is an optional setting, it can help players to gain fame. Another feature of this party is, the longer the time the players stick together the higher the amount of experience that they can share.

Oh, and if a player who already in a [ Companion Party ] they can still joined [ Contract Party ].

But of course levels will also be playing as an important fact in both party systems. If a player who has a low level, and they party with a high-level party, obviously they won’t gain any experience. This system is too prevented the so called “Power-Levelling”. The difference between levels that can’t be party up is 10. For example, a player with a level 20 partying up with a level 30, the level 20 player won’t be able to gain any experience automatically.

“Well that’s it for Party System. Do you understand?”

“Hm, yeah I got it. The systems really have been created strictly.”

“Yeah, though, it is kind of fun in its own way. So anyway, I want to ask you, do you want to create a [ Companion Party ] with me?”

“Eh!? Are you sure? We just met you know.”

“Haha that’s right, but I feel like I can get along with you. You know that kind of feelings.”

“E-eh!?”

Huh? Why her red flushed? Did I say something misleading?! Ah!

“No, no! What I meant by my feeling is, it’s a “easy to get along” feelings something like that!”

“E-eh! Ah, y-yeah…..”

I hope she not misunderstood……

“T-then I accept. How do we create it?”

“Nice, thanks for accepting! Wait a minute.”

Where the menu……there is it.

“Okay done! There should be a request appending at your above right view.”

“Ah yeah! I will not notice it if you didn’t tell me.”

Haha, yeah, it kind of annoying that the developer put the request pending there. Still, it is logical. If a player is fighting a monster and suddenly a request pops up in the middle of their viewpoints, that would be pretty bad.

*Ding!*

Why the heck both of us say it at the same moment!? This make the atmosphere much more awkward!

“W-what’s up with that atmosphere honestly…..it’s unbearable….”

*Sigh*

I guess I should take a shower first. So I started to clean myself up, it take around 45 minute until I finished.

“Man, I’m hungry, there’s nothing in the fridge though…”

The only answer is convenience store! That is why it called “convenience” store. It’s for this kind of moment. Ah, before that I should how my app doing. Oh, it doing quite well eh? And the money I got from all kind of customers is quite a sum. I’m sure it’s already enough to support myself now.

By the way, my app is called “A.K.G”, it stands for All Kind of Guide. This app work as the medium for other people to share their guide in the game they played. There also chat and forum system that I already implemented into it. At first it start with a small community that I gather from all kind game that I played. Then, unbeknownst to me, the community becomes very large that I have to start improving the app and everything else. I start by improving the social field first. Then the community increase again so I have to put up a new and even bigger server. But at that time I don’t even have a speck of money. So I ask for some donation and the money comes very fast. After I have accumulated enough money, I start hosting my own web and finally it becomes a big social network for gamers. I sell a virtual character for the user to change their appearance and stuff like that, though I never though it will be sold like crazy.

“Well in future updates, I was thinking to put a mini-rpg or something so the user can enjoy playing while make friends with each other.”

But that still far fetch, it going take a lot of time to finish it. I may need other people’s help.

“For now, let’s go to the convenience store!”
