Prologue
“Dammit! What the hell is this monster!?” shouted a young-looking teenager afar running around on a plain grassland. The teenager was actually running as if his life depended on it. Behind him, one could see a large bull chasing. The weird part about the bull is that, it had three horns and the middle horn was a lot larger than the other two.
“ROARRRRR !!!”
The bull looked like it was pissed off. The young-looking teenager's face started to become clouded by panic when the bull roared. He thought “WHY THE HELL IS A BULL IS ROARING!? ISN’T SUPPOSED TO BE MOO'ING!?” Ahead of the young-looking teenager was the edge of the plain and it seemed that if he kept running ahead he would surely dive into the abyss.
Finally, the bull caught up to the young-looking teenager. He didn't have any place to run anymore. Then something popped up in his mind, “Ah, the one who MOOing is a cow right? Then what does the bull say?” He stopped at the edge of the mountain and started to ponder about it.
The bull tried to intimidate the young-looking teenager, but it was simply ignored by him. The teen seemed to look different from when he was chased by the bull. The bull became angrier when he noticed he was being ignored.
The bull then started to inhale the air until it’s stomach became round, then it released all of it.
“ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!!!!”
Feeling something was coming at him, the teenager shivered. A bad premonition. “Wha-!? Dang! I was careless again!” He paniced a little but then he calmed down quickly. He started moving his hand around smoothly, drawing a formation.

“[Create] Earth Wall!”
He shouted, once the formation he was drawing was completed. Suddenly, a big wall of earth erupted from the ground. Right in between the teenager and the bull.
The air burst from the bull, producing a huge stream wich flew into the big wall, not even leaving a scratch. The bull had a surprised expression when it looked at the big wall.
“Damn you, stupid looking bull! Can’t you see I’m in the middle of something!?”
He shouted at the bull, provoking the bull. The bull couldn't comprehend what was happening, so the young-looking teenager shouted “I Luke, shall kill you for disturbing me from getting the right answer!”
Luke’s hand started to draw another formation, but this time the formation was much more complicated, yet it didn’t even take him 2 seconds to complete it.
“[Enhance] Physical Damage Increase!”
Then he started to draw another formation.
“[Create] Earth Spike!”
Suddenly, from the ground where the bull was standing, a large spike made purely of earth erupted piercing the bull. Slowly the bull's eyes became lifeless.
A window popped out from the bull.
Congratulation! You killed the boss of Evertia’s Plain, !

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

Into the Feywild
I've never considered myself to be much of a fighter. In fact, I had no notion what it was all about. I couldn't envision a war amongst people, especially my own. In this odd realm, a timid half-elf has little chance of success. Especially with minimal experience. I've only fought as a means of survival, self-defense, if you will. I had known only humans, so the concept of elven culture and family was foreign to me. And yet, here I am, in the midst of a tremendous battle between two Feys and a God. I never planned for things to turn out this way, or for me to get caught in the great shambles of war—a conflict between good and evil. My two companions are practically strangers to me, knowing nothing but my name. This journey was not something I had planned or wished for, but it was what the Gods gave me.◈ ◈ ◈Meli, a young half-elf traveling the Material Plane, is unexpectedly captured while on her travels, only to become a member of an odd group of individuals. Crane, an older wizard castaway from his college for practicing unnatural magic, and Kurky, a youthful and lively gnome who is as fascinating as they come. Meli's curiosity gets the better of her as she chooses to accompany them on their not so concrete journey into the Feywild. Little did they know of the constant war raging within this woodsy plane. Maybe Meli will discover everything she's been looking for, embracing love and pleasure along the way. Or perhaps she'll become a part of something bigger. © Copyright to EmmeMeadows 2021

My father scolds me sharply. I flinch at the anger in his voice and quickly retract my hand, inches from the trunk of the tree. "Sorry father, I couldn't help it. The trees are just so beautiful," I whine turning towards him. His face softens slightly and he scoops me up into his muscled arms. I wrap my small arms around his neck and bury my face into his shoulder. He hugs me tightly and carries me away from the forest. "Why can't we go into the forest?" I ask, looking over his shoulder to see the red and gold leaves slowly disappear from view as we climb the hill. "The forest is a dangerous place," he sighs. "How can something so beautiful be so dangerous?" I mutter in confusion. "The danger is in its beauty."**Cover by SodaliteSilver**
