Anger hardly takes long to render its bearer's home desolate.

Whatever it was jumped on Odion's back and he screamed under its weight. He could feel it's claws tearing through his clothes easily, digging into his skin. It slammed him to the floor and he could faintly hear the woman screaming, her voice joining the many from outside. Odion just kept praying to whoever was out there that she would have time to escape. He couldn't have another death on his head.

It was incredibly heavy and Odion used it to his advantage. One thing he had learnt from all his fights with people bigger than him was this: the heavier you were, the easier you were to be unbalanced. He rolled sharply to his right and the creature hit the floor with a loud metallic clank. Odion heard this and was puzzled as he quickly got on his feet and rose to face whatever it was that was strong enough to break a whole door. The creature was fast too, impossibly so and quickly regained balance. As Odion's eyes landed on the monster, his hand faltered as he reached for the dagger. This was not even within what he was expecting.

It was a wolf-like dog but bigger, it's claws were long and menacing with teeth as big as sabretooths. It's eyes glowed red and radiated anger and hate. Odion looked into those eyes as they both sized each other up. The creature almost looked intelligent, like it could find a dozen ways to kill Odion neatly. What really struck Odion was the animal's fur. It reflected light, almost like it was made of some kind of silvery metal.

Odion assessed all his options and he wasn't liking them. He knew that the only thing he had in his arsenal was surprise so he rushed forward as fast as he could and struck the dagger downwards in a killing stroke aimed at the dog-wolf's skull. Odion briefly saw the creature incline its head in confusion like it almost couldn't believe someone could be so stupid to attack it. Really? It seemed to say, that was the best you could come up with?

Sango's dagger hit the dog-wolf's skin with a loud clang and Odion could feel the vibrations from the contact an it shook his hand to the point that he dropped the dagger. The creature considered the dagger for a moment and ignored it, focusing on the two juicy prey in sight.
