Staring deep into Noah's eyes I begin to weaken as more and more of his overwhelming
Presence seems to overtake me. His shining white eyes seem to pierce me throughly.
my mind begins to become blank as I start to feel something almost surging within myself
and my body starts to give way, I can't move I can't do anything, I'm just there in pure darkness,
Noah seems to have closed his eyes, once they were closed he starts laugh. So maniacally
he laughs, it seems almost rhythmic. I'm there alone, I can feel my whole body change, my mind
almost ruptures. Im so weak. How can I just let my mind give way, I'm not this WEAK. I can feel
my sweat roll across my body, as I try to search for the door I can't feel anything around me, I
start to walk back remembering where the door was and there was nothing. I couldn't take
it, I hate this. I lay back onto the floor and then I can hear something within my mind “It
seems as though your new environment has surprised you, well you will be here in this pocket
space for 20 years.
In this experience you will train yourself within the dark blood arts reading
all of the knowledge that I've set within your mind. And don't worry in this space of sorts you
won't age but after we're done, you will never have to worry about something of that sort
again.” With that last sentence Noah disappeared before me and yet a door appeared to me in
the next instance. It seemed to shine brightly almost calling to me, slowly walking towards the
door I opened the door in expecting of what to come. What laid before me was an over
encompassing library, filled to the brim with books. I started to smiled in glee. You may

have not figured this out about me but I really do enjoy learning new information and the
like and if it means I can become stronger and rid myself of my weakness that's just a bonus.
I just need to remember no matter how long I'm here, I can't stay the same weakling as I was
I'm stronger right? I dedicate all of these years so that one day. No one can talk to me like I'm
Pathetic. So it began this 20 years of loneliness and power. I was kept isolated no food no water
yet I felt no thirst or hunger. In this period of time I think my body has changed, yet for those
matters I have no clue. I could not tell time at all, I never felt tired either. During this period I
learned all of the arts of Blood Magic that were available, it was difficult at first but slowly but
surely I was able to gather the knowledge that I needed to move on. I also had quite a bit of
time to think, no human contact what so ever can be a bore but, I knew during this process
concentration was what was important. Along with learning new spells and of the sort I learned
about the regions in my world. Due to living in a small village all my life I was never able to learn
about the world around me. Now there are many kingdoms around the Demi – humans, the
humans, the elves, the dwarves, and so on. It seemed as though everything I read was
imprinted in my memory and that fact was amazing. My hair despite my body did grow over
this time, Now passing my knees I decided to tie it up as to not get in my way. My clothes but

rags now served their purpose, seemingly as if no time passed I could see a new door appear,
standing up dust seems to have encompassed my body. Exiting this door I find myself face to
face with Kira.
Master on the other hand has his hood off, it amazes me a little. His long white
hair, his piercing grey eyes, and his youthful face, he looks like he in his early 20s. Returning to
Kira she seems to have grown a bit as well, behind her on her back is a red tinted scythe most
Likely an evolution of her weapon. She says to me “Where have you been Alex?” She starts to
Hold me tightly within her arms. Staring at her I remove myself from her grip. Walking towards
Noah I take out my blade, running toward I aim to strike him using my magic to elongate my
blade using my own blood. Aiming to chop his head off my blade is reflected by a red mist
surrounding him. Master looks at me in a almost mocking tone. I'm mad, I'm stronger now, I've
grown so much and to prove that I'm going to kill him where he stands. Taking my sword like
weapon in both hands I submerge myself into the air. Moving at almost lighting speeds we go at
each other non stop. He dodges all of my attacks effortlessly but, my drive to kill him will never
cease. Taking a deep breath he says “I see that you have grown quite but, your still not strong
enough, don't worry you'll get there. And you know what if you ever try to against me again
well.” In almost an instant his fist lunges at my stomach but, that's too easy.
Noah POV
It looks like the little brats have grown quite a bit. Still I don't think they will ever match me. I
just hope my father won't get mad at me for taking them on as trainees of sorts. Looking
directly at Alex I can sense the unbridled anger he has towards me, I wonder how such
A Kid can become like this. Oh well he'll need to be this way in order to further his strength.
In the midst of our fight I can tell he's going all out. I wonder what he learned in my expansive
Library. I can see him smirk but I can't tell why. He still should be under my……………level? I can
Feel Alex's blade right through my head. How the fuck did he get through my defense? No more
I'm showing this boy true power. Dashing forward I place my hands around his neck and
squeeze looking towards Kira she seems to be crying. The girl I wonder when she'll lose those
feeble emotions. Well to teach this boy a lesson I think I have a great Idea.
Alex POV
His grip is so firm I can feel myself losing consciousness. I can see master there grinning, he
opens a portal it seems in front of me. Is he planning to end me? Noah grinning even wider
tosses me directly into the swirling rhythmic portal. I can feel myself being sucked in. Master
looking at me falling into the portal also throws me my blade. Oh well I guess this is another
test of his. Great.

The Crisis on Planet 9
Welcome to the dream colony Planet 9, where the streets are stained by blood and the buildings are filled with human remains. The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive. For now, his only goal is to become strong enough and rejoin his students and fellow colleagues, foolishly hoping to somehow be able to get back to the time when the undead did not rule the streets. Will Kardian be able to survive in this new savage world or will his naive outlook lead him to a dead end? Volume 1 can be bought on Amazon: Resonance High
