《Kill Thy Gods!》Chapter 5 — The Titans
Advertisement
This is the Forest of Meura, the first stage of the Tutorial of Beginnings. Here consists of four creatures called the Titans: The Horned Wolf, The Crowned Moose, The Two-headed Serpent, and the King Eagle.
This creatures rules this forest and they're purpose is to reduce the numbers of players... but there is another purpose. If once kills all of the Titans, they are awarded with a title and an item. The corpses of this titans is also for the user to keep, making their body parts a great use for strong weapons and armor.
Leon has already killed the Horned Wolf when two players was cornered by the Horned Wolf's minions. Leon was watching by the branch, using the opportunity to use the two players to lure out the Titan; and they did a really great job.
Leon also realized that players are already getting used to their class' skills, he was especially impressed by the old man. To have been able to tolerate the pain of Body Frenzy.
Flashback...
Leon was at the end of the long-mossy hallway as he was greeted by another gate just like the entrance. He was able to open it and a blue panel appeared in front of him.
[You have reached the First Stage of the Tutorial of Beginnings— The Forest of Meura. Find the Entrance to the Second Stage to proceed]
It seemed like a really simple panel, but it was a trap. With such a simple message, players underestimate the forest, not announcing the Titans and the dangers that lurk, causing the death of hundreds of players. Although Leon already knew the dangers, he also knew what to do as what he was not able to do in his previous life.
He needs to get that hidden item to push through the competition, and also to give the Gods a little bit of a scare.

With a wide enough space, he can jump from branch to branch without fighting the minions of the Titans. Although he has to watch out for other creatures, it was seemingly easy for him. Passing through players to players, he was finally able to enter the Horned Wolf's territory.
He knew he had to injure a great deal of the Titan's minions to attract the Titan itself, so he was atmost ready for the worst; but when he arrived, two players has already been cornered by the Titan's minions. This gave Leon the opportunity to save his energy and use the players as bait.
"Tsk!" The bearded man gripped his axe with his two hands as orange aura suddenly enveloped him.
Leon's eyes widened, showing a face of excitement. He was surprised that a new player was finally able to use one of a class' special skill.
[Body Frenzy!] — The old man shouted.
"God damn it!" The swordsman jumped back as he swung his sword behind and took a formation. His sword suddenly glowed white until it grew so bright, it even blinded Leon that was far on the branches.
[Crescent Slash!]
Leon's smirked as he put to fingers on his chin, "This two could be of use in the future, it would be sad to let them die." Leon muttered as the Horned Wolf came out. Without hesitation, the wolf jumped towards the intruders with his mouth open, ready to eat a delicious meal.
Except...
Leon's feet suddenly glowed a white aura as he jumped from the branch to the wolf's neck in seconds as his swords slashed through, causing the momentum to pull the wolf sideways, causing the wolf to turn in a 180 degrees. With his back about to hit the ground.

The white light that once surrounded Leon's feet disappeared.
Leon didn't use his Light Magic, but used the essence of magic. Using his magic to focus at one point on his body, he can improve a part of his body. For example, he can focus all his magic on his hand, causing his punch and his hand's flexibility to improve.
Although this is an advanced magic setting, it was easy if you always did it in your previous life.
"W-who are you?" The old man stuttered with a surprise look on his face
"I should be getting close to the Crowned Moose's territory." Leon muttered as he looked at his status.
<
"Why do I have such a huge amount of luck?" Leon muttered as he looked at the side, where his inventory panel is located. There are necessities, like the water skin that has the fountain's water; food, some potions that he got at the start and the Horned-Wolf's corpse.
Leon shrugged it off, thinking that the one who put him here must've done it on purpose.
Leon stood on an empty filed, surrounded by trees and in front of him, is a cave. Leon opened his palms and chanted.
[Flashing Orb]!
Leon's palm produced a white orb as it launched off the darkness of the cave, and within seconds, the light exploded. Blinding that moose into waking up, and probably angry too.
The Crowned Moose belled in anger and his footsteps rapidly repeating, like it was running. Without hesitation, again, the Crowned Moose charged with his hilariously large crown, spiky and full of blood stains. It was also the size of a one story building, but including his horns/crowns, it could 1 story building and a half.
"You guys just have no hesitation, huh?"
Leon muttered as the Moose closed up on him. Thinking that the Moose hit Leon, he stopped to notice there was no body hanging by his horns.
"Are you done, yet?" Leon said behind the Moose, with his sword sheathed out.
"If you are done, then it's my turn." Leon said as he rushed through at fast speed. With huge pride, the Moose accepted the challenged as he also charge towards Leon, with his crown pointed at his opponent.
"That's the spirit, you fucking moose!" Leon shouted as he readied his sword.
