I lift my hand up while lying in the ground, its definitely not mine but as I move it moves as all of sudden all my senses get assaulted by smell, sound and touch everything feels so vibrant, there is distinct smell of cooked meet I look around widen my eyes as I see burnt corpses everywhere around me for 20 meters, I stand up so quickly I shock even myself, I dust off my coat its black with black gloves and shoes plus some kind of red vest.

I thought who would wear this and why It was dark not too dark as it was dawn I watch as the sun slowly illuminates the ground beneath me looking at the corpses, one in particular was slightly moving shock as how one with such burns could survive I walk up to it I say it because you can’t even tell gender at this point.

I get closer one eye starts to heal which is extremely displeasing to watch as it sees me it says in hoarse.

“frank you son of bitch help me can’t you see its dawn what’s taking you so long.”

Dave immediately responds” you got the wrong guy friend I don’t know who you are or what this place is.”

then he gets confused as something appears Infront of him.

The women were starting to take shape as smoke started to rise from all her body she was as pale as me with softer nails and eyes with red hue.

As the blue boxes were still in his peripheral vision, he was starting to get annoyed at the whole thing.

As I notice the sky starting to glow red, I take sigh of relief as I will be able to get bearing when the sun is up, although I can see fairly good it’s still fuzzy and has a range of about 200 meters way beyond human capabilities in a pitch dark field.

As the sun rises, I see the first ray of light hit the field around me and girl start to crawl away horrified for some reason.

I pace myself behind her and ask, “lady what’s there to be afraid of?”

She then shouts “you can burn to a crisp you fool but I have eons to live yet before I die”

Frank pondered what she said and asked, “who did this to you and the rest?”

She didn’t answer it seems she is panting heavily and unable to continue so I walk and look down her face that has been formed the hair didn’t grow yet or won’t grow but her face was amazing as if it was made for being a masterpiece that rivals even the hottest of celebrities.

All sudden a ray hit my hand as if touching a hot iron bar bare handed was the feeling as I scream.

“ahhhhhh! What the fuck is that!”

“that’s the sun dumbass get me out of here quick or it’s your neck frank!”

Frank looked around to see the field was about to be fully illuminated and was getting worried about what would happen if he was fully exposed to the sun, as pain is the best teacher of all he didn’t double check to see if he freaked out for nothing.

He turned around as his eyes fazed around every corner of the field was almost full of light and his leg got scorched by the sun and started to heal.

I immediately ran towards the lady and she saw me eyes full of hope.

As frank ran towards me I knew that my threat worked, a smile etched on my face as I see my arms and legs heavy burned, as I higher ranking vampire I have the ability to withstand the sun for a little bit longer and utilize healing in certain parts to accelerate them in growing faster but the damage was too much and I utilized my head for senses and chest like lungs and so on, but I used too much energy and my life force is weak now.

As frank stood Infront of me he smiled, and it was terrifying I was about to tell him to stand away, but it was too late he grabbed me by the neck and lifted me up me and my burned limbs became helpless.

“how dare you commoner handle an elite like this”

Frank looks at me and puts his hand in my mouth and pulls hard so I bite down as I hard as I can ripping off chunks of flesh from his fingers he groans and smiles again.

“You’re feisty I like it, it’s a shame though” frank said

I try to speak but end up spitting blood in franks arm, no words come out he pulled out my tongue.

'his infidel dare does this to me, I will show him fury when I’m back but wait what’s a shame?' she thinks to herself

Frank dashes to the front of the field towards a mountain as fast as he could holding the women like a sheep by her neck, as he approaches a dead-end covered by sun he raises her to protect his own body and walks through fast although he still received damage from the sun seeping through the gaps she took the blunt of the force screaming and squirming like a worm but unable to speak he wished he could shut her up but he needs her to heal fast so she doesn’t turn to ash, you can think of her as a shield a meat shield.

As I run towards to the mountain, I realize how truly massive it is, its peak way beyond the clouds making mount Everest look like a hill, as we pass the field and enter the forest I glance at the lady black as charcoal but I hear a heartbeat I reach the bottom of the mountain and see a cave as I run out to it.

We enter and the smell hits me something lives here but its not here now I as I look at the bones and remains of creatures with bones I cannot begin to recognise, I throw the lady at the near by wall with a “thud” but she doesn’t move a muscle still looking like corpse but alive.

I try to wrap my head around what’s happening.

Frank’ it seems I was brought here after or during me dying at the apartment, hehe I hope I got that officer lady.’

I look around and think new information starts coming in this is the body of frank, he is from a vampire stronghold led by an elder, they use some blood magic as there are different types of vampires, but I discard that they al have a hierarchy based on blood purity, new-born, vampire-fledgling, vampire, noble-vampire and pure blood, there are no pure bloods left they were all killed but elders seem to be close to the pure blood mark.

And then I feel something itch and I think about my body then.

I look around and see bones a lot of bones some like spikes and as pick them up I see that they are durable too, too durable for bones at that note.

I take a spike shaped one and walk over.

And jams the spike bone in her chest over and over until.
