Randall modestly looked straight ahead while driving as Ysadora patched her bruises in the back seat.
"Can you turn the volume down? I hate that girl," Ysadora sharply asked as she tightened her last bandage.
"I need to monitor that our own transmission is still active," Randall replied in a way that indicated he too hated the hacked transmission.
Ysadora put back on her top uniform, then gracefully slid into the passenger front seat. Below them, the streets were on fire, bands of people fighting each other.
"What do we do about Abraham?" she asked.
"Exactly what we recruited him for. He will take the blame for now, and those idiots will soon be taken care of when the population will ignore her words."
Suddenly, the ships in the sky slowly vanished like paper crumbling under fire. Ysadora startled just as her father received the message as well inside his head.
"Daniel has betrayed us. He terminated the transmission, and is about to send a message to the siblings. I'm stopping him..." Scott's voice said.
However, not a minute later, and Daniel's disclosure was heard on all channels. Ysadora hit the wooden dashboard in fury.
"The bloody bastard!"
Randall clenched his teeth, then made a hard turn, flying away from the center of the city.
They landed in the middle of a reclusive park, at the borders of the city, looking over the glass towers and buildings. Randall got out and walked to one of the decorative stones.
"What do we do?" Ysadora asked, leaning against the black and gold car, her arms crossed. "A twenty year old project, over within an hour by a silly girl and a mindless android."
"The population won't stop their destined fate for her words. We simply can no longer orchestrate the next events. Daniel will reveal everything to not only the siblings but to Bohm and to Carrie. Before I'm found, I need to set up the next phase, and hopefully get both of us safe."

"And Abraham?" she asked.
Randall looked at her.
"If he isn't smart enough to escape, he'll be left behind."
"Just like everyone else did to him," she accused, her turquoise eyes ablaze. "Use him, then leave him alone to fend for himself."
"I cannot risk exposing the Temples, the Shiakars, and especially you, for a simple pawn. He chose to play the game, he knew the risks."
Ysadora huffed in frustration. Ignoring her, Randall took out of his inside vest pocket something that looked like a wand. With it, he traced elaborate symbols on the stone. A hologram appeared, rising from the symbols; a hooded man looked at Randall.
"Password."
"Ultima forsan," Randall answered.
"Why?"
"Tempus edax rerum."
"How can Temple XV serve you, Lord Redspear?" the hooded man asked.
"I need to use the shuttle. I'm leaving with Ysadora."
"Only if you can make it within nine hours. That's the deadline the Temples received. The Ka-dymyrra is moving out of the Local Spur, and it will be your last chance to reach it."
"We'll be there. Prepare everything so that we can leave as soon we arrive," Randall ordered.
'Understood," the hooded man bowed before closing the transmission.
Randall took a small rock to smudge the symbols into a mess of dark.
"I have escaped while the idiot guarding me was distracted. The betrayal is already done, I don't think any of us can salvage this," Abraham's bitter voice suddenly flooded Randall's and Ysadora's head. "Where do I join you?"
"I'm sending you the coordinates. Be there within nine hours," Randall informed him before telling him the location.
"He's coming with us?!" Ysadora stared in shock as Randall joined her by the car. "They'll kill him."

"Prince Nebuchadnezzar himself inducted Abraham into the society," Randall simply said. He threw her the car keys. "Now hurry. By the time you'll get there, Scott will be imprisoned at the closest Columbus prison before being transferred. I need you to convey him a message."
"Will do. Where will you get your car?"
"I have my backups. Just hurry up; I'll send you the details of the message once you're on the road" he simply said, then turned on his heels.
Ysadora didn't argue and climbed into the driving seat.

Party Leveling
{A new notification has arrived.} In front of a few people, these hologram-looking messages appeared and changed their lives in entirely different forms. Things such as growing stronger, becoming smarter, feeling more agile, became possible within short periods of time from that point onwards. The one who regretted his weak healing abilities for years began to chase after the magic powers that could turn reason and sense upside down while keeping his goal, this duty to the wrongs he committed. The other one, who complained about his lack of strength, strove towards the path of an unbeatable champion to protect those he held dear. When the person who had everything found a path to desire for more, not fearing the consequences and the obstacles, he also began to walk onwards to a new life. And among them, the one who walked aimlessly but also never stepped down on the choices he made along the way, was the one who couldn’t be ignored nor disrespected by anyone. The “Player” system that they all obtained, and which granted them several abilities, knowledge and directions, was also the beginning of an entire new era in this world where monsters, magic and technology, were already common and wide-spread. There’s not a single hero, but after committing mistakes after mistakes, learning from the painful and thorny path that they take, and growing as people with the people that surround them, then someday... there will certainly be saviors. Rebirth
Rebirth, the process of being reborn. Why does it happen and who really qualifies. We will seek to look into the these questions by following the life of Richard as we experiences this process first hand. We will follow his life and his fight against the evil blue boxes and what comes with all of them. ------------------------------- Update 04-24-18 Just ran a spelling and grammar check on the existing chapters and corrected a lot of little issues. ------------------------------- Just so you know, do not expect detailed sex scenes, or a lot of gore and such. Profanity is probably a given, I added the tag today....I mean you've seen how the Blue Box God talks....I'm shocked our MC has keep his cool so far. Also just FYI, I've got the entire per chapter outline complete for what will end up being book 1. That being said I've discovered over the years that a good outline lasts until you begin to wrote the chapter out. What that means is that even with a good outline because I tend to rethink thing out 4 or 5 times while I write them that it can hold up a chapter from being released. I'd rather hold up a story to make it flow better than rush something out. So while you might see at times a very aggressive release rate, at times you might wonder what happened to me because I've stopped posting. The reason being that after I wrote the chapter I decided it either sucked, didn't flow right or I just decided the direction things were headed no longer seemed right. So I'll stop, review and decide if I need to rewite all of the outlines to changes things up and then rewrite the chapter, or possibly go back and make changes to older chapters if needed. By the way, if I ever decide something needs to change, I will let you know which chapters changed and I'll give you a quick outline of the changes so you can skip the reread if you want. Yes a lot of this story will be told from the third person prespective, though we will listen to Richard tell his story. Expect a lof of behind the scene components. I've never published here before so expect it to take me a try or 2 to get an understanding of the formatting and such. Also I do not post a schedule. Sorry but real life always comes first but I will try and get things steddy.
