"Brother, you look cool," smiled Fay sweetly. Hayden blushed, his sister was indeed worthy of being called beauty that can cause calamity. Many people would easily get bewitched by her. Even her cold face was beautiful, like a celestial being.
"Alright, let's talk about something else, little Fay." Hayden said awkwardly while trying to change the topic.
Fay pouted and glanced away, trying to look angry. Looking at her sudden behavior, Hayden couldn't help but sigh. "Damn, she is so beautiful even when she was angry."
Fay noticed and giggled silently when she looked at Hayden's expression. She understood what Hayden was thinking deep inside his mind.
As they continued talking, Fay noticed something. "I can sense that you've improved after this seclusion brother, your Arte is equivalent to the 3-star realm of Origin right now."
"Can you tell me more about this?" Hayden asked solemnly. He was eager to know more about the basic knowledge of cultivation in this world. It was always better to understand the situation thoroughly.
"In this world, the deeper the understanding of a person towards their own Arte, the more powerful could someone become. Normal people usually call them warriors. Every warrior starts from the realm of Origin, which is divided into 9-star layers. After the realm of Origin, they will transcend to another realm called Exalted. Warriors who reached this realm are usually the leader of a kingdom or a country, as for what kind of realm after Exalted, no one knows because we live only in the small part of a region," explained Fay slowly.
Hayden listened seriously and thought that this was really interesting. Also, he guessed that if it was like what Fay had said, then right now he must be around Origin realm, the starting point of the cultivation. Time passed, and now there was one other important thing that he wanted to ask.

"Little Fay, I finally understand more about Arte. Now, can you tell me more about our world?" Hayden asked curiously.
Fay smiled and nodded. "If that's what you want. I'll explain it briefly."
Legend says that there are many kinds of races that live in the continent of creation such as elves, dwarfs, dragons, etc. To maintain the order of the continent, races that are close to each other formed big alliances. These alliances were divided into five groups. Us humans formed the alliance named Avalon. Dragons, Phoenix, and many different kinds of beast who are famous for their strength and mightiness formed an alliance called Shura. Elves, who are famous because of their physical appearance, formed an alliance named Elvar with the wisdom creatures Dryad and Wisp. Dwarfs, the renowned creator of powerful equipment and artifacts, formed an alliance with gnomes, their alliance called Hazel. The last alliance consists of the demons, but they always remain discreet. That's why there wasn't any other information about it.
Fay gave her brother some time to sort all of the new information. She blushed silently when she looked at Hayden's serious face. Fay doesn't even know why she was feeling this. But after that, she continued.
"Of all the alliances, humans were the weakest because they only consist of one race. That's all what the legend said. People from the Zenith Kingdom are not qualified to know more because we are only a small kingdom located in the south of the region," sighed Fay helplessly.
"What a surprise," thought Hayden. He would never have thought that humans were the weakest alliance. After hearing all of this, Hayden felt motivated to become stronger. He wanted to make humans the strongest alliance of all races.
"That's all that I can tell you, brother. When you travel and grow stronger, you will probably learn more about this," said Fay zealously.

"You are right." Hayden clenched his fist. He will definitely be stronger!
Afterward, Hayden asked many other questions about the continent of creation. After all of his questions got answered, he murmured "Looks like it's time for me to go, I want to go and stroll around the city, thanks for all of your help little Fay." Hayden thanked her sincerely as he stood up and prepared to leave.
"Brother, take this." Fay took off one of her rings and gave it to Hayden. "Try to sense the ring."
Hayden nodded and tried to sense the ring. He was startled because there were many things hidden inside the ring, such as potions, foods, crystals, and so on. The ring that she gave him has its own dimension, making it easier for him to store any kind of things that he has.
As he inspected the ring, Hayden found a set of black armor and a weapon. He took it out and glanced towards it. The armor set and the weapon were black covered with some ancient patterns around it. Even though it was an armor, it was not bulky and looked quite fashionable.
"Is this for me?" Hayden looked at the armor in disbelief.
"Yes brother take it, this set is called obsidian armor accompanied with a sword. Its grade is Origin-unique. With this, I am sure that you will be a lot safer."
Hayden felt grateful because his sister really cared for him. He patted his sister's forehead and wore the armor immediately. Afterward, Hayden wore a dark robe to cover the armor. He looked like a warlord, ready to conquer the region.
"Alright, I will go now. See you next time, my dear sister." Hayden smiled warmly.
"Take care brother, and also remember to be careful with him," mentioned Fay towards Hayden telepathically as she watched him leaving the courtyard.

An Unwavering Craftsman
Given the hereditary nature of classes, everyone expects Damien—the child of two high-tiered adventurers—to be granted a high-tier combat class of his own. Expectations are betrayed, however, when Damien finds himself instead saddled with a crafting class of the lowest possible tier: [Neophyte Tailor]. Left practically crippled compared to those with better classes, Damien wants to avoid becoming a pawn in the machinations of the nobility, desiring only to grind his level in peace while wondering why the usual rules of inheritance were broken. Was it his desire to excel by his own effort, rather than an unearned blessing from a god? Did the Five take offence at his opinions on the unfairness of hereditary classes? Or maybe it was something to do with the alien voice that intruded on his ceremony? A voice that offers great power, and freedom from the tyranny of the Five, but that never names its price. This story is litRPG-lite. While the class someone possesses controls most of their lives, people don't get dinged at for every level they gain, nor can they see their status without undergoing a special ritual. The MC has no romantic interest. Crafting is merely a way to game the system, and doesn't feature heavily in the story, aside from a few descriptions on how they're carrying out the system abuse. There is, on one unfortunate occasion, maths. The pace is quick. This was a participant in the Spring 2022 writathon. (i.e. it was posted as-written at high speed. I may give it another editing pass in the future.)
