《Broken》Chapter 6.1 Aurora

"Finally back." Said Lucius.
Don't freak out, don't freak out, don't freak out
Aurora was already going crazy because they had ended up in this place. She thought she had died and ended up in a mysterious place. But Lucius told her they were not dead. She had no idea how long they had been walking or how far, but her feet hurt. Lucius still had his pills and would eat them. She was wondering how many he had in the container.
"Aurora I have to warn you that the nights last for two days and two hours. I don't know how long we will be here because if it rained enough we might spend months here but if we are very lucky it could be just a few weeks" Said Lucius.
"Lucius I don't think I can go any further" Said Aurora. She felt like crap and knew she looked like it too.
"Fine we will set up camp here" Said Lucius.
Aurora took her shoes off and wondered why Lucius hadn't taken his off. She looked at the sky and could see five moons. They were far larger than the moon on Earth. She removed her shoes and rubbed her feet. She looked at the odd fruits Lucius had picked and took a bite. It was amazing to say the least. It was sweet and juice. She moaned from joy.
So... good…
"You made a noise" Lucius looked at her and she felt self-conscious
Aurora was not aware she had made the noise and did her best to eat silently.
"So how did we get here exactly?" Said Aurora.
"Well, I was rather angry about the joke you all played and decided to spend a few hour calming down. But you came along and made the situation worse. Now I'm stuck with you for the next few weeks" Said Lucius.
"But what about school?" Said Aurora.
She was unaware of the shift in time.
"Time is different here. We can spend a year in here and only a second will pass in the real world" He replied.
Well that's convenient. I wonder how many times Lucius has come here for comfort.

"Oh" She replied.
She looked at the tower that loomed in the distance. She could only imagine how large it was. Lucius had told her it was hundreds of miles away. She had no idea anything could be so tall. She could see a massive shape swimming through the clouds. It looked like a jelly fish mixed with a whale. It's body had lighting coursing through it and what looked like water falling from its back.
"That's a skypup" Said Lucius.
It was over a mile long or it looked like it was.
"The bigger ones are the interesting ones" Said Lucius.
She could not imagine anything bigger. But she didn't have to. A beast bigger anything she could have thought possible burst through the clouds. Several smaller sky pups floated beside it. She could see grass and trees on its back. This world was beautiful and so were its animals.
Aw, they are so cute, like a family.
"Well it will be night in a few hours so I'm going to get a fire started and do you mind making a bed or two?" Said Lucius.
Aurora nodded and looked at the trees. She thought about what he said and pondered making one bed. She felt like to would be wrong to force him into it. She found the leafs that felt softest and made a bed. She wanted to ask if he was fine sleeping together but it was to much for her, just thinking about it make her blush. She felt wrong for just thinking about it.
She finished the beds after an hour and Lucius was nowhere to be found. She could feel his wolf eyes gleam over her but knew not from where. He was something she had never had. All the boys she knew were horrible people. They were spoiled and rude. They didn't make friends they bought them. They just wanted to do indecent things and once they were done they would break your heart. Most girls were no different. They were the same and perhaps that is why some of Allison's friends had their eyes drawn to Lucius. He was untouched like few others. He was like the first spark of light untarnished by darkness. He was something different.

Athena was seen in the same way. But everyone liked her except jealous girls. She was impossible to match. She had become cheer captain on the fourth day of school. She had become lead singer of a vocal arts class and captain of the all gender football team. She was the best at everything.
"Hey" Said Lucius.
"Aaaaaaah!!!!" Aurora screamed
That nearly gave me a heart attack!
She felt like her heart had stopped and her breath was gone.
"Are you hurt?" Said Lucius.
"No, sorry, never mind, hey" Aurora replied with an odd smile.
I sound stupid and he probably knows it.
He turned away from her. Had her smile really been so ugly he had to turn away. She looked down in sadness.
"Anyway I have everything else ready" Said Lucius.
She nodded with her hands held up to her face. Her soft brown hair bobbed with every nod of her head. Her soft brown eyes glistened with the bat of her eyelashes.
"Thanks for taking care of me" She whispered.
"Shut up"
He walked away and dragged wood to an open area. He tossed it into a pile and sparked it. The fire grew and the warmth reached her. She still felt cold but didn't want to make him mad. She guessed he needed his spaced and stayed a fair distances away from him. The sun set and she began to shiver. She wanted to get closer but didn't want to make him angry.
Does she really hate me that much? She would rather be freezing than be near me? Well it's not the most hate someone has had towards me. Just last week people walked up to me and told me how much they hated me. I didn't even know their names
Aurora closed her eyes and felt like she was ready to cry. She knew what she had done was wrong, but was he really be that mad? She let her cold hand grasp at herself because they had nothing left. She wanted to know what she could do to make him happy. She didn't want to make him angry.
So cold... I guess this is how Lucius feels, he is always so lonely.
Abruptly she felt something warm cover her and turned to see what it was. Lucius was holding her close.
"Might as well let you steal my warmth"
She felt her body rush with heat. And not just because he was holding her. She felt her face go red and her heart began to pound like a drum. Her body was shaking because she was so nervous not because of the cold anymore. She wanted to kiss him more than she wanted to take her next breath. She could feel what those wild eyes held. She knew she loved him. She didn't know why but she did. Not because he was attractive but something about him just seemed all to right and bring without him seemed all too wrong.
This just feels so right. Like it was meant to be like this.
She pressed her head against his chest and heard a soft steady tapping. Before she knew it. She was somewhere else.
She was awake but the world was dark. She could hear a metallic hammering in the distance. She got up and walked to the noise. She watched as the sparks rained over his body. She could see burn marks on his skin and large scars. She wondered why she had not seemed them before. She walked closer and saw what he had made. Blades and guns, they were laying on the floor beside him.
She took a breath "Hey"
He turned slowly What do you want?".
He had made tools as well.
"Mind if I ask you something?" She ventured.
“You just did"
She didn't know how to respond.
"If you mean to ask me something other than that, go ahead"
"Where did you get those scars?" she watched him as he set his hammer down and walk over.
"I don't want to lie to you but you might not like my response" Said Lucius.
"I can take it" Said Aurora.

Keter
They called him "Keter"; The Top-Most; The Crown. An unsurpassable, unstoppable, unkillable soldier. Etched with a twisted set of morals and studded by an impossible drive for lachesism, Keter terrorized the world for ages. But time, you see, is a most patient thing. As sure as it gives, so does it take. Even the Crown saw the eternal spindle drawing on him. He blinked, for the last time, and saw a world anew. Synopsis. So, basically, I’ve gotten tired of all these stale mcs that keep popping up left right and center. Either they are painstakingly good-natured or horribly written ‘evil’ characters. So, here’s my take on the concept of a Villain. Someone ruthless, cunning, and not shy of seeking darker means to an end. Hell, as long as it’s effective, he’ll prefer the blacker side of business. The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.
